Alan s Automotive is the only auto repair shop in Brenham that I trust (I had experiences with other shops before I found Alan). He has repaired numerous vehicles for me in 25 years. He is always busy because he is a true honest mechanic and his prices have always been a great value. I am taking my Tacoma in this morning with total confidence.

Honest and fair. I liked that he was willing to tell me what he didn't want to and couldn't work on. Pricing was more than fair. The only thing that keeps it from being a five star rating is timeliness of repair. However, in Allan's defense, he's is ALWAYS jammed with cars. Which is indicative of how good a mechanic he is. Would go back to him in a heartbeat and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to everyone needing work on their car. Thank you!!!!!

When I moved to Brenham and inquired about the best place to handle all my automotive issues Allan's Automotive was the highest recommendation as the first, best stop. Jack was kind and informative from the moment he answered my call about replacing a belt. Although it was a slow day for them, I was in an out within two hours. Noah did the actually repair. He was also friendly and did a great job on my car.Highly recommend!

This place has had my vehicle for 2 and 1/2 weeks now and I still have not gotten a call back as to when it will be finished. All it needed was a power steering pump hose replacement. That should not take 3 weeks. The whole first week nobody even touched it or looked at it. The second week the owner took off out of town for a whole week and nobody even looked at or touched it again and now here we are on the third week and they're barely doing anything with it I'll be surprised if I get it on Thursday which would make it three whole weeks. I will never take my car here again. I am a full-time working wife and mother of four and it has been very inconvenient for me not to have a vehicle. I've called almost everyday checking on it explaining to him that I need my vehicle, like now, and he always gives me the runaround and bold-faced lies to me. He's a decent mechanic, but just make sure you can afford to be without a vehicle for almost a month because he is so backed up on cars that he can't even fit you in for 2 weeks to even look at your vehicle but he'll tell you to bring it down right away. I really am surprised that he's even still open and operating.

As far as I'm concerned, Allen is the ONLY mechanic I trust. Being a senior citizen with NO understanding of what goes on under the hood, he calls my brother to explain what is needed before he calls me. NEVER charged for something unnecessary. I recommend him to my friends. My car is in good hands with Allen.

Allan's automotive was recommended to us by family and friends as an honest mechanic. They took care of my truck's AC and serviced it within 2 and a half hours just as he said he would! Now that's a mechanic!!!
