I am extremely grateful for this man's help today. I was driving from Lockhart Tx to Laramie Wyoming today and my car started overheating. This man Mr. Moreno was in the middle of moving his shop to another location and didn't leave me stranded. He still helped me out and thanks to him even hours later when I called after hours he answered and got me where I needed to go. I enjoyed the conversation with him and the easy going friendly crew he's got. God willing no one has car trouble but if you do don't go anywhere else. Five stars all the way.

Didn't fix the problem had to pay 700 dollars to him and three days later same problem told him then he was like well

I am a bit old - so now I require a mechanical mule, I am not trying to be cool, but my 2002 KZ 3010 Mule is pretty cool.....and who's kept it alive...Joe Moreno's Auto ...that's who....!

Traveling from out of town my check engine light began flashing. I was referred to Moreno Auto and Transmission. James was very nice and very helpful. In August 2017 I started having transmission trouble, on my 5 hour trip to meet my husband in Brady. My car would rev up and wouldn't go over 40mph. We took my car to this business and I just want to let them know my car is still running, I'am so grateful. I was so worried that my car would die out again, but it hasn't Almost 4 years later!! I was coming through Brady on a Friday when my SUV just stopped and wouldn't move forward. But would go in reverse. Everybody recommend Mr. Moreno. Everybody was nice and helpful and eased my mind, being another 500 mi to home. I checked with Mr. Moreno Mon evening and he shot me strait. Said I was a gt & 1/2 low on fluid. And the fluid was black and burnt. No need going any further it needed rebuilding. 2800 is the price he told me and that was more that the car was worth. He was nice enough to store my car until I could get help take ing it to Beaumont where I could get it done for 795. Went to pick it up and settle up for him putting it on the rack and putting 1 1/2 gt of trans fluid. I was charged 218 dollars for having them check and put some fluid in. Say no more, but if I where you and didn't have a warranty I might check some other place! Unless you've won the lottery.

My truck was parked because I had been told I needed total exhaust from the exhaust manifold back. I was quoted an amount I couldn t afford. I met James Moreno and we discussed my problem. He came and picked up my truck and replaced the catalytic converter. That was the only thing that needed to be repaired. A repair I could afford. He is the most honest mechanic I have ever met.

My family and I broke down SE of town and needed to have towed in to get fixed. Morenos was the only available shop that could take us in on a Friday afternoon. The serpentine belt had come off due the idle pulley seizing up. To make a long story short, parts were on order before we got our rental car that Friday, and it was repaired before we came back thru the following Monday. They even threw in a proactive repair by changing out the tensioner pulley as it was discovered to be on its way out too. This saved us from another breakdown situation we just experienced. We were (and still are) extremely grateful for their service. I highly recommend their service to anyone who is seeking car repair.

Wouldn't change my tire for me because he was too busy. Spent 10 minutes talking about bikes and telling me where to take it. A good mechanic can change it in 5 minutes. Find someplace else to work on your bikes.
