Had my car inspection done at Fair Oaks Automotive. No appointment required. Staff very attentive and professional. They have you in and out in no time. I will definitely be taking my vehicle here with any car issues in the future.

Fair Oaks Automotive has taken such good care of us over the years. They communicate well with us with straight forward findings and solutions with a reasonable estimate. They have handled everything from major engine repairs to crazy electrical problems in several of our various aging vehicles and also done it in a reasonable and timely manner. They are also very competitive on their prices. I have never felt over charged. Listen, this is your auto repair shop! STOP going to dealerships in Boerne area that don't respect your time and finding your service representative can be like a game of hide and seek followed by a fat bill with overpriced parts and mark ups after waiting forever for a call back or your vehicle even for just simple stuff.

I had a wonderful experience here. As a woman, I ve never been able to go somewhere for an service appointment without needing to explain that I can get my tires rotated at discount tire for free. I didn t bring this up this time - Fair Oaks Automotive did! They truly value the customer over the transaction. I felt very welcome and safe there. Thanks for a great experience!

I went in for a state inspection, had 3 cars ahead of me but I got in/out quickly. They have a very efficient system for inspections and are in a great location.Just don t try going over a lunch break... they are closed from 12-1pm.My only complaint is that the staff was not very friendly.

Delightful. I had gotten the run around from another auto shop in the area and when I went to fair oaks auto they were honest with what really needed to be done and it was 1/3 of the price because of it. They didn t overcharge or make up work to try and make extra $. Found my new auto shop!

Best auto mechanic experience ever! No contest! Honest folks. Fair prices. Quick and reliable repairs. What more to expect? They never try to sell you more than you need. They explain to you in the simplest of ways whats wrong with your car and charge you a fair amount. Plus there give you a 2 year warranty that s nationwide . Definitely recommend them.

Deserves less than one star...I was told to bring my truck in to be worked on just to be told the next day they changed their mind and no longer work on diesels after working out a ride just to get it dropped off. The next day I went in to pick it up. There was a man at the counter who wouldn't even look away from his computer. I walked around the counter to the board,grabbed my own keys, and walked out without anyone saying anything. Will never go backService: General repairs & maintenance

Went there to get alignment on my H3 we had scheduled an appointment, but other appointments had fallen through, so we went early, then walked to a restaurant, ate, and by the time our meals were finished, it was finished. Customer service was polite , and respectful.

Great service and fair price! I always get 2 or 3 quotes and honesty before i decide who gets my service. It's always good to get several quotes so you can compare estimate price and there honesty. The Fair Oaks Automotive team also gave me a ride home, since i came alone to drop off my vehicle at there shop. Usually i do my own repairs but I have a lot of things going on. Most auto shop comes with a warranty. Fair Oaks Automotive comes with a warranty. I would come again and also recommend to friends to get service from them. Not unless you have deep pockets and you prefer dealerships and big chain companies. I hope this help the viewers. Forgot to mention Fair Oaks Automotive picked me up from my house because i didn't have ride to get there.

I drive a 17 year old truck with over 245K miles on it. As you can imagine it needs to go to the shop now and again. It s the small price I pay for not having truck payments! Once again Fair Oaks Automotive has me back on the road with a perfectly running truck! Chris and Roger have been there a long tome. These are honest guys that you can trust! Excellent service as always!

Its almost impossible to find a garage that is honest, and capable. Fair Oaks Automotive was actually recommended to me by Cavender Chevrolet. Fair Oaks has done all my service work for approximately 8 years now. They are honest, qualified in every discipline, and priced competitively. You can trust their judgment completely.

Customer service is non-existent here. I walked in the door at 4:40 PM. There were no customers in the place. I was the only one. I politely ask for an oil change. The angry man behind the front desk couldn't even muster the courtesy to look me in the eye. He just continued what he was doing and spat out, "No! Too late for an oil change!"I politely asked what time they closed. "6 o'clock - but we start putting up cars at 5:30." I looked at the time: it was now 4:42 PM.Basically he was telling me that it takes them longer than 45 minutes to do an oil change. Again: there were no other customers in the place.As I was walking out in disgust, the other lazy man next to the angry man had the audacity to say, "Thank you, sir." Lazy and incompetent. Avoid this place.

Finding a trustworthy automotive is hard to come across nowadays. I'm so glad I was referred to Fair Oaks automotive. Roger helped me from start to finish and was able to figure out transportation while my car got work on. I also want to give props to the mechanic who is very knowledgeable in foreign cars and repaired my car in a timely manner (Wish I got his name). The gentlemen at Fair Oaks Automotive are very fair, they explain everything to you so you understand. As a woman going to a mechanic is daunting as I know nothing about motors. But they explain everything, look for the least expensive solution, are fairly priced and get it fixed quickly. I've been many times, and will continue to bring my vehicles there!

Fair Oaks Automotive is exactly the kind of place you would expect in a small town: great work and friendly people. It's not the cheapest, but that's OK because their pricing is fair and there is value in being local and having what you need when you need it. This is my go to shop

If you are ready to pay $109.00 (per hour) for them to diagnose your vehicle issue, then the friendly staff will be happy to assist you. I was told Like it or not, the vehicle is not going anywhere until you pay it This vehicle is being donated to charity vs fixing it, so the nice staff gave me $25.00 off the invoice.I m not asking for free diagnostics, however, these prices are steep in my opinion. I m moving on to a different mechanic.

I have had my share of dealing with poor service, high cost and unethical auto repair dealerships, including a recent visit to a local dealership.This place is by far the best in the business. Knowledgeable, consistent, pleasant and fair. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. Thanks Chris and Roger for being my go-to.

Good place, took in my KIA to fix my brake lights, not only did they do that they actually replaced the long light thingy, forgive me I Don't know cars much, for only the price of the light, they saved me from risking getting a $150 dollar fine. Also, Chris is super nice!

This place did a very good job of replacing of my cars are shocks and struts. They were very patient as it took us about 5 times before the right part came in because it was hard to match part.We always come here to get our state of Texas inspections and they are always very quick with it.

Bad customer service, I came to this place to have my lights fix, as soon as I came in the guy in the front was in his computer, didn t even said good morning as I came in, continued looking at his computer and when I told him that I need it to change my lights immediately said no without even taking a look at my car. I think for a good business politeness is a main key to success

Great customer service starting with the friendly, smiling gentleman at the counter, professional, helpful and very fast and efficient. I was there for an inspection less than 15 minutes. I m new to the Boerne area and I highly recommend them! Thank you!!

I drop my car off because there s a weird noise by the front tire, they call me and explain it s the sway bar so i told them to go ahead and fix it. Mind you, i m a 23 year old girl who knows nothing about cars. My car wasn t wobbly NOTHING was wrong but the weird noise. Well they go ahead a fix everything that wasn t wrong with it and charge me nearly $4,000! I pay it of course and expect to pick up my vehicle in excellent condition. Not the case. I picked it up in the EXACT condition i dropped it off. I ve been calling the store to get ahold of the owner to hopefully resolve this because i m told he s the only person to resolve it, and i ve gone in when they say to catch him and he s not there, i ve called when he s supposed to be there and he s not there. They re giving me the run around because i m asking for a full refund, since i picked up my car in the exact condition i dropped it. I m going to have to contact the Better Business Bureau.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Yesterday, I dropped my Honda Accord off at Fair Oaks Automotive because the engine light came on in my car and it said Engine System Problem. Today, Chris from Fair Oaks Automotive told me my transmission was dead. Which was odd because my car is only 5 years old and only has 47,000 miles on it. Chris said it seems like electronic problem killed my transmission. Chris told me to call Honda, not a dealership but Honda corporate to see if they can help me with this situation. I learn, I am still in my Power Train Warranty and it expires in 13 days. Mark from Fair Oaks Automotive drove me to Gunn Honda while a AAA tow truck took my Honda Accord to Gunn Honda. I would of never known I was still within my warranty if Chris hadn t told me to call Honda. Both Chris and Mark were such southern gentleman for taking care of me and I am so thankful to both of them.

My son's vehicle's spark plug broke off in the head. The vehicle was running horribly, and at the time of the incident, he didn't know what was causing the problem, so he took it to Kwik Kar Care on Thousand Oaks for a diagnosis. He'd never done business with them before, but he took the vehicle there because it was convenient. After diagnosing the problem he was given a repair estimate of $2,200.00, which included labor to remove the head. As I had been doing business with Fair Oaks Automotive for many years, I called them and asked them for their opinion on the matter. In the years I've done business with them, I've found them to very professional, knowledgeable, reliable, and above all, HONEST. They advised me that removal of the head sounded unjustified, so based on their assessment, we took the vehicle to them for a diagnosis. Turns out the diagnosis was the same, but the cost to fix it - not even close!. Fair Oaks Automotive had it repaired and running like new for under $300!!! Talk about honesty and integrity in business - the automotive business at that. I have to say, I don't think I'll EVER trust my vehicle to anyone else. Thank you Fair Oaks Automotive. As for the other place - KKC - I wouldn't trust them to fix my flat!

Very polite, and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and the mechanic that helped me with my battery replacement was fast and polite also. I was in and out within 35m.
