I took my Tahoe in for a recall, 4 wheel alignment, DRL being out, oil change, inspection for trip, and replace the passenger windshield wiper arm while I was there. Two hours later I got a list recommending items to be replaced with a price point of around $3k+, that was not on my list, but everything I asked for was marked green. I told them that I would look into replacing those items soon, but I already knew what I wanted done was going to be a little pricey. I left my Tahoe there for four days because I really didn t need it until my trip. On the forth day I was told my Tahoe was ready.I came in to pick it up and the recall was complete, wiper arm replacement done( $160) with part provided, and oil change was complete. All of this totaled around $400.The DRL was checked that it was good to go, still doesn t work. I saw only $39 dollars for my alignment and didn t even see the verbiage of could not do until I got home and really looked at it. But, when I saw the initial cost for the alignment, I knew something wasn t right, but my service specialist wasn t there to tell me anything.I got into my vehicle and the steering wheel was slanted further right then when I dropped it off. Then, I started driving down the road and my stabilitrak and traction control turned off, which wasn t a thing before. I got home and looked at my front end and notice that I am missing cam alignment pins on my drivers side, so something was tried and made worse. I guess they just then decided to say we will just tell him that we couldn t do it . If they would have actually driven it, they would have realized that these issues were there, but no even a mile was out on it after the service.For the four days that I left it, I was never told that they couldn t do something, no calls, texts, anything to tell me they didn t do it or couldn t do it. The Tahoe has a four inch lift on it, but so do a lot of the vehicles that go in there for service or that they sale.I couldn t turn around and take it back because I had to go out of town the next morning. I did however email the service specialist, text through their app, and called that s specialist line with no responses. I sent pics of the items not completed and or worse, with no response.Luckily, my Tahoe made it through the trip and will be taken back to them next week for them to fix what they made worse. I m upset that it is worse, but I m more upset and disappointed in the lack of communication and just letting me think that everything is good to go and I can just pick it up. The only communication I received other than letting me know it is ready from my service specialist after I sent the responses back with photos, was this one asking me to fill out a survey.I m usually the guy that gives praise even if sometimes things don t go the way they are supposed to, but I laughed and decided to write this when all I received back was a request for a survey and nothing about making things right. Cavender's service department did an excellent job fixing the AC in our 2023 Suburban High Country. I expected the vehicle to be in the shop for a few days, but they completed the repair and an oil change/tire rotation in a few hours. They also gave me a ride home after dropping off the vehicle and were great at communicating with me during the process. Richard was also very friendly and provided excellent customer service.

I am blessed to have Denise as my Service Advisor. She has a great demeanor and outstanding customer service skills. Realizing that duplicating an issue with my truck is going to be a bit challenging, she scheduled an appointment with the maintenance foreman to help troubleshoot the source of the noise.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Had to take my car in to address a couple of recalls and to check the fluid levels. The people taking the car in knew what I was talking about the appointment process was pretty smooth and easy. I did mention to them that I couldn't be without a car for long so if they needed to keep it overnight to please let me know. Left the car at 9 am. Around 3 pm hadn't heard anything yet so I thought I'd better call. I tried calling 3 times and got hung up on 3 times. So I tried contacting them via their instant messaging software on their website. The person I interacted with said that they would relay my information to someone at the service center and make sure the next time I called back someone would actually answer. I called back again. This time I got an answering machine. I left a message that I hadn't heard anything about the status of my car could someone please give me a call. About a half an hour later someone called to tell me my car was ready. When I went to pick up the car, I noticed that the fluid levels were the same as when I left the vehicle. I told this to someone at the front desk. He instructed this kid to top up my fluid levels. The kid gave me more wiper fluid (which I could have done myself, I was more concerned with the other fluids), but he wasn't sure of what he was looking at with regard to the other fluids so he went to ask a mechanic. An older man came out and asked me if there was a problem. I told him that I just wanted to be sure that the fluid levels were good since they were at the same level as when I brought the car in. He pointed at each and said they looked fine. He was a bit brusque and acted bothered. I took my car to this dealership because the other Chevy dealership customer service and service center near me wasn't that great. This place kind of looks to be the same. If you don't mind lackadaisical customer service and poor communication, then this place was ok.

I m extremely pleased with my Service Advisor Denise for taking the time explaining what preventive maintenance procedures I should follow on my 2004 Corvette. I have taken her advice, and Cavender replaced most of the main fluids in the car last year.A few days ago my Check Engine light came on. I made an appointment with Cavender Service Department. Denise scheduled my service, to include radiator flush/Transmission fluid change (preventive maintenance), along with oil/filter change, and to check issue with Check Engine light.The service technician was very knowledgeable with prompt updates about my vehicle repair work, including video of the problem (sparks plugs/wiring needed replacement).Dealing with Cavender was a pleasant experience, and I m extremely pleased with Service Advisor Denise, and Jace (including other technicians) from the Service department that worked on my vehicle.When I drove the car home I said WOW! I M IMPRESSED: My 19 year old Corvette idles smooth/has more power, and runs better today than when I bought the car back in June 2010. Had a smooth experience with the service I had done on my truck. My sevice adviser Terry, kept me up to date on the status of the repairs. I got my vehicle back on the date and time it was promised. The repairs were under warranty. The dealership took care of everything. The on-going auto workers strike caused a delay in getting the parts in. However, Terry kept me informed and promptly called me when the parts arrived. I'm back on the road.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Unfortunately my experience was very poor . This is a review of Cavender and not Richard who was helpful and welcoming . The process of my Vehicle Engine Light check was not a good one . I dropped if the vehicle and waited . I received an email a day later explaining what services they recommended and a total . The total cost was about $4000. That was my first shock because I just wanted a check engine light checked and a noise . diag fee was super expensive already at about $180. They charged be for 2 of them which I think is ridiculous. The email said click each Diag to review the notes . I clicked and there were no notes except saying they cannot replicate . So not only did I feel like I was lying , I felt I was being taken advantage of with a $4000 recommendation service bill . I called Richard and he explained there will be only 1 diag fee after all and my trans needed fluid . Why didn t my email say this . Why put me in a rage mood with a high bill. I only paid 1 Diag fee but in my opinion should have been waived and keep a customer . They apparently only just added a little fluid . Instead I was charged the fee and they lost a customer . I will not go back for services at Cavender which at comparisons of other dealership was extremely overpriced .

Richard at Cavender's was awesome. He got the tire, prepared it and then had me return so it could be put on. He knew I had to be somewhere that afternoon and he made everything easy and I was able to use my car. Thank you to staff at Cavender's.

30 days for a Corvette drivers door window replacement after being quoted 3 days on three separate occasions. Horrible communication the entire time. Finding an update and navigating the phones was like chasing down kids at a roller rink. Never a proactive update. I always had to spend 25 minutes navigating awful service to get a promise filled list of excuses answer. No accountability. No honesty about completely broken GM supply chain. Buy BMW, Buy Porsche, buy Mercedes, ..Ive bought my last Corvette.

Terry Shaw, my service manager was excellent. Got the car in earlier than expected had to order parts state on. It got the necessary parts but communicated with me all along the way the work was done exceptionally well and got the car back for some very important family meetings I have used Cavender for years. Made an appointment for an oil change. When I showed for the oil change they told me they were very busy and it would take a while- I asked why do I make an appointment?- they just said sorry will do best they can. I personally watched my vehicle sit for an hour before I went out got it in and left nobody even asked or called until they sent this request for a review.

Their phone system is totally screwed up. To schedule service you have to call a central scheduling department and the folks that answer the phone don t really know much about service. They don t even have a direct line to the service department to help them with questions and their training is obviously minimal. Once my truck was in and I needed to speak with a service advisor it took over 30 minutes being transferred back-and-forth and me having to keep recalling then eventually a service advisor called me back. I am shocked at the system that is in place at Cavender. Absolutely no way to manage a service department or dealership in my humble opinion. And then I tried to schedule another appointment a few weeks later for a wheel alignment, and it was such a joke same thing. All my frustrations came back to the surface and I just had to laugh. I understand that delays happen with parts but I was told they had all the parts available and my truck would be ready the next day or 2 the latest. The part ended being delayed and they never called unless I called. No one ever gave me an update unless I called and left so many messages.after leaving my truck at the place on a Friday morning at 8am I didn t get it back until the NEXT SATURDAY. This was for a job that should have taken 2 days at most. ( that was even said by the service guy) The customer service / communication skills needs improvement.

Set up the oil change and tire rotation on the new truck while checking out the 2023 Suburban! Dropped the truck to service, was taken care of perfectly and brought up to the front while I was finishing up paperwork on the suburban! Terry Shaw quickly assessed my current issues and estimated the service would take just a few hours. My oil change and tire rotation was accomplished quickly. In addition, an issue with my tire sensors was resolved as well. This afternoon I received a call indicating my vehicle was ready for pickup. Overall, I m totally satisfied with Cavender s service department. They have always come through for me and have properly maintained my Tahoe for the last 17 years. Had my first oil change done and tire rotation. Contacted the service center to let them know I was do. Set up a time and went in waited maybe 5 min at most for them to get me in . I was in and out in less than a hour. Very Satisfied with the service and the people at Cavender Chevrolet. On the plus side - great customer service. They took care to protect my vehicle by using a steering wheel cover and paper floor mats and were extremely attentive and friendly. Not impressed. I made an appointment over a week before having an oil change. The appointment was scheduled for 2pm. I was there prior to 2pm and remained there until past 4pm. (They didn't have the correct oil filter) no one bothered to informed me the cause of the delay until l went and asked. The service center wasn't busy.I should of been informed so that l could possibly come back another day.Not a happy customer!Fred HoltService: Oil change

Cavender Chevrolet Service Center (Terry Shaw and Wayne) BOTH went out of their way to provide exceptional service in completing my GMC diesel truck fuel system repair. They were ready to see me before the flatbed had even off-loaded the truck! I genuinely felt prioritized and received one of the most seamless service experiences ever. Everyone was very nice but after a routine oil change and new air filter they didn't put the air filter on right which screwed up our car for the WHOLE LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2023 to where we were scared to drive it because it kept jerking at every red light or when the car was just idling. We didn't know they didn't put the air filter in right because after all it is their job to do it right . Then basically said oh well to us we had to wait for after labor day weekend for them to diagnose the issue. Wouldn't give us a loaner (even though they screwed up the vehicle vehicle and ruined our whole trip out of town) because all the sudden their policies changed. Yeah ok... We also have warranty and a Extended warranty on our vehicle. So no we will never go back to Cavender Chevrolet in Bourne Texas. And y'all can go ahead and take this post down if you want to because y'all know it's the truth. You may not like it but the truth hurts.

Had to replace a rear bumper cover and two tail light covers when we were slightly rear-ended on a trip to Lake Texoma. Got back from our trip on a Friday and went in to the service department on Saturday morning and they quickly determined the parts that were needed and the cost to repair. They ordered the parts which arrived on Monday, the bumper cover was painted on Tuesday, dried on Wednesday, and the repair was completed on Thursday, in time for us to go on vacation on Friday!!!Service couldn t have been better. Terry did an excellent job lining up the work needed including rotation of tires, changing air pressure, and realigning tires with the computer system. He also advised on noise with the brakes that has been ongoing since the vehicle was purchased. Finally, he personally took my truck through the car wash which was denied on my last visit because of the size of my truck! I was in and out after 90 minutes.Service: Oil change

I have had many great experiences with this group in the past. However this last visit was below their standard. My car was returned unwashed and many of the coverings left in it still. I still have not received any of my digital receipts on what services were performed. I actually had to notice my car sitting in the waiting area before anyone came to get me. I will see I really liked my servicer person but I hope this was just a one off experience.Services: Auto body & trim repair, General repairs & maintenance
