My husband went to have them check the bearings in his truck. Come to find out it was his drive shaft too! This was around noon. They had his truck all done in the same day! Very polite and explained everything to my husband! Definitely found a new decent and reliable mechanic! Thank you so much Shane!

We've used them twice so far. Once to come out to our driveway and replace brake pads on wife's truck. More recently to replace a wheel hub assembly, front and rear brake pads, spark plugs, oil change and tire rotation at their new shop in Blue Ridge off of 160 right by 121. While I completely dislike having to spend money on maintaining vehicles, these guys are fast, friendly and very reasonable with labor rates. Highly recommend

The professionalism of the crew at gear head automotive is far above industry standard. The mobile mechanic service has saved me so much time an energy, it's something I wasn't used to. They diagnosed the problem on the spot and immediately contacted my warranty company and started the process. They even offered to deliver the car to me when completed. They were extremely fair with pricing and the work was done at an exceptional timeline and the work was done right. If you need a reliable, fair priced mechanic shop, then look no further! Shout out to Shane and Alex, these guys are rockstars! I would recommend them to family and friends in the future!

These guys came to our home and worked on our truck and put new headlights in my car. They were on time, professional and friendly. The best part is they are honest hard working people and there prices are better than anyone around and they will come to your house is you are in the area. They are our new mechanics for sure. My rider was not starting. All the large mechanic companies were out 6 weeks for repair! I called and was able to get a next day appointment with these guys. These gentleman came out and were not only timely and knowledgeable but also funny! They were able to confirm what I originally thought was the issue on my rider. They walked me through each step they took and why they came to that conclusion. Pricing was incredibly reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend this company. Support small businesses!

I contacted GearHeads this week to replace rear brakes and rotors on my 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe after contacting a major automotive repair chain and not having luck scheduling a repair. From the outset, Shane and Alex were immediately responsive and I scheduled the repair at that time. Shane sent texts every step of the way with estimate and verification and they came to my home on Friday morning and completed the brakes and rotors in about an hour. Both Alex, the owner, and Shane, his assistant were super nice and professional and did awesome work. These guys are just getting started on their own but Alex has over 12 years experience and I was extremely satisfied with their work and professionalism. They charged significantly less than I paid for front brakes at Firestone several months ago so I couldn't recommend Gearheads any more to anybody needing first-rate service and professionalism! I needed a wheel hub assembly replaced on my SUV, eff it, I'll admit it . . . Subaru Outback. These guys fit me in before I was getting ready to leave on a trip back to Florida. I dropped my car off with them, they gave me a ride back to my place while they were working on my car, and then offered to drop it back off at my place when they were done. They didn't charge me any markup on the part itself and just charged for their labor and time.I was extremely impressed and ended using them again after I got back from the trip to replace another wheel hub assembly (apparently Subaru had issues with these that has apparently been fixed in the newer models), change the oil and spark plugs. Again, they drove me back while they kept the car to do the work, and dropped it off when they were finished. I have absolutely no complaints, and would recommend them to anyone looking for service.Bonus is they have an extremely cute dwarf nigerian goat in the shop that likes chin scratches. :)

These guys came and recovered me and my truck and car hauler out of the baking heat to their shop. They hauled me to the parts store a few times then had me sit in the shade while they got my truck running pretty quick. I called several garages and no one was willing to look at it on the road much less haul me to their shop. Super friendly bunch and know their business!

I have a 99 Jeep Wrangler that I really enjoy. I had a few things going wrong (blown head gasket) and these guys were quickly to the rescue! They have been very helpful, have had thorough communication and I would say they have been reasonably priced! It s a small shop but great customer service! We've been dealing with no A/C in my car since I bought it, but these guys got it fixed in no time! I'd taken it to a local shop several times and was told nothing was wrong with it despite the fact that it...you know, wasn't working. Still baffles me, but I'm just glad we can have a more enjoyable summer!
