I took my car into Knowlton automotive because it just quit on me going down the highway. They had to tear down a good portion of the motor because the drive belt flew off and I I needed to replace a slow but manageable leak in my water pump. 900 dollars later I got my car back. I was so elated because I had been walking for two months and Iive at the highest point in big Spring so Being 60 with a previously broke hip (twice), I was hurting bad!. When I was walking to pick up and pay for the work, I was told that they were just finishing running a coolant check. I picked the car up and two days later (about) water started pouring out in the front of the car but you couldn't tell where it was coming from so I took it back thinking maybe it's a loose hose they sent out the guy working on it and he immediately found the leak with a mirror.They said that the radiator was separating. I never had any problem with my car until this issue and find it hard to believe my radiator which showed no previous problems, didn't develop a small leak And gradually get worse, It all the sudden developed a catastrophic leak. They told me that I could buy some time if I put stop leak but to me this is still catastrophic to me because I only work three days a week and can't afford another major job two days ay later. I may be wrong but I find it too hard to believe that my radiator all the sudden with no warnings died. Could it be that somehow it got damaged during the repair job?. I still give them a four star because they are so polite and did an amazing job. Thank you!.Services: Engine repair, Auto exhaust system replacement

Just left there. Great service. I appreciate the fact that they are honest, up front, and transparent with everything they do. They even saved me money. Nissan Midland told me things that needed repaired that didn't need replaced. Thank you guys!!!!

I went in with some rodent damage recently, they fixed it quick and I paid half what they quoted me (because labor took less time than they thought). Always friendly and kind, always great service. I ve never heard a bad review about Knowlton.

Went in for a quote and information. They were polite and upfront. Although I didn't get the work done that I needed because their price was almost double from all the other price quotes I got around town I give them credit for taking the time in helping me out as best as they could.

Very reasonable and does great work. They are also very respectful of your wants for repairs. They won't just fix things and then charge you... they only do what they have agreed to with the customer

Amazing and professional staff! Great work! I was skeptical at first from the looks of the shop but overall great experience. It was not that expensive either! Definitely will go back again if needed

I take my vehicles to Knowlton for any of the work that is needed. They even answer any questions I have and also check my vehicles' fluid levels whenever I leave town. Very courteous personnel. If I have a problem, they schedule me in as soon as possible.

As a traveling Missionary, I had a schedule to keep and was concerned about an auto repair keeping me from an appointment.Knowlton's worked me in and accomplished the repair in the needed time frame. They were extremely courteous and professional. I'm very impressed.

This place is amazing!! We were traveling through with our travel trailer rig and realized we were not getting any power to it. I searched google reviews and picked the mechanic shop with the best reviews. Walked in and asked the first friendly face I saw for help. He went above and beyond to get us back on track and headed home. Nothing but friendly service and helpful employees. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping!!

Had my car towed there after being broken into and vandalized, they had her running like new in a day and a half, and at an amazingly reasonable price for the work that was put in. Definitely coming here for all of my car issues. Thank you!

Danny and David are as good as a team gets. Danny should be a morning show host--a happy and pure-hearted customer service professional with personality for miles. David loves fixing cars and it shows--he took the time to shoot the breeze with a very amateur mechanic wannabe (me) after I'd already paid. He replaced a clutch on a 2003 Camry and made sure to tell me how good a shape that little car is in--no up sell, just good ole neighborly compliments on my 15 year old commuter car. All I can say is I was born here and never got a big city bargain in little Big Spring until today. (G&M garage was WAY more $$$ on their quote, let's just say that.) Knowltin is an operation built on good men, good work and fair prices. Do yourself a favor a go see the professionals at Knowltin before you drive to Midland and pay more for inferior, or at least not so down right friendly service!

Gaylon & Crew are always top notch. Most of the crew has worked here for a decade or more, this tells me that Gaylon values his employees. In return this means the employees value the customer. I've used them in the past for my own vehicles and used them as a sublet vendor on my customer's vehicles. I have had them install an engine, work on my a/c, oil changes, you name it they can do it. They are professional, HONEST, & fair. This doesn't mean their "cheap" it just means they aren't going to charge you for stuff that wasn't done or replace parts just because they couldn't figure out the problem. I believe you will have a great experience at Knowlton Automotive. I recommend them to all my family and friends.

Took our van in to have a belt job retightened because of the noise it was making from the previous job they had done. They took the van in right away so I didn't have to leave and come back. But the job of retightening didn't work. It still squeals.

THOUGHT THIS PLACE WAS GOOD TILL I TOOK MY CAR IN TO GET THE FRONT BREAKS DONE, COST ME 225 BUCKS NOT ECEN A DAY LATER MY CAR WAS SQEEKING SO LOUD, TOOK IT BACK INTO HAVE THEM RECHECK THE BREAKS AND THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME 30 MORE BUCKS FOR THERE MESS UP, AND THEN TRIED TO BLAME IT ON ANOTHER PROBLEM..I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE.. GOT MY BACK BREAKS DONE AT A WAY CHEAPER PRICE THAN 225...YES THEY WAS KIND TILL YOU POINT OUT A PROBLEM THAT THEY DID!!! VERY DISSATISFIED
