Called at 9am about possible u joints gone bad. They said to bring it in asap so I limped over there and dropped it off for them to look at and quote me. About an hour later I got a call and one U joint was shot and 2 were going so I opted to have all 3 fixed for what I think was a great price. Got a call at 2:30 and all is good! Thanks guys! Appreciate you!

I just had a great experience with Ron and this business. I am not a diesel person and needed some work done on my F250 6.0. Ron was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about my particular truck. My truck was fixed quickly and I feel they we're really honest with me. I feel like I was treated extremely well and I had them fix the A/C after the engine repair was done. Thanks to M&B! Will definitely be back in the future! My truck runs like brand new!!

My husband was gone on deployment and M & B auto repair made me feel at ease knowing my vehicle was in great hands! I was so happy with my mechanic Shane!!! The communication, price, and work was the best I have found in Belton. I had previously gone to other places and they gave me a long list of things that needed to get replaced. Shane was very honest with me and told me what I actually needed! Such a wonderful place that values their customers!!!! I can t stop looking at the price!!! I was in shock on how affordable they are.

Update 29AUG2019: I was struggling with the purchase of a used car that has new and unfamiliar sounds from underneath, and could not get the steering as smooth as I would like. Rick was instrumental in assuaging my fears that I bought a wrecked vehicle. Rick and The service writers have been serving a Belton for a long time, and I value their opinion. While the car was in the shop having a window motor replaced, they looked the car over, drove it, and determined that I simply have some stubborn tires that need road balancing to smooth the ride. That may not seem like a big deal, but to me, it was a huge help. I just needed to know where to focus my efforts. As you read my original post, I hope everyone picks up on the value of having a quality mechanic and reputable shop sort out any issues if troubleshooting is required. This shop is much better at troubleshooting than any other business I patronize. I try to keep all of my business local, and I appreciate the local business that donate used, but not used up equipment to the local high school. This shop is well known for supporting the high school automotive technology facilities. They are not open weekends, and they can get back logged during the summer, but they are worth the wait. One reason why M & B won t be the least expensive, is the quality of the parts ordered for your vehicle. Quality parts helps to ensure longer service life of a repair, which will save you money in the long run. The best analogy I can give you is fast food; there is a reason you can buy a fast-food burger for a buck... it may satisfy you for the moment, but you will likely pay for it later on. I never have a problem at M & B; I m not going to have heart-burn over a repair later on.Original post: This location offers automotive services at a good value. They are not the least expensive, but they are efficient, which saves you money. A big thumbs up to Rick for researching items for my Mustang. My recommendation is to drop your car off the night before it will be serviced. Mechanics often appreciate a cooler motor and exhaust when working on a vehicle, and having the car on hand allows the mechanics to efficiently manage the work load. I have never found it necessary to return a vehicle to M&B for a warranty repair. Everything they have fixed for me has stayed operational. I make every effort to keep my vehicles in good operational condition, and when I cannot perform the tasks myself, I look to M&B to make the repair or perform the maintenance. To reiterate; though the shop rate at M&B may be higher than some other locations, M&B is much quicker with troubleshooting and makes good repairs, which saves you money.

They were so kind to me. They gave me a ride home in the morning when I dropped my vehicle off because I didn't have a ride. I was able to work until they called to say the vehicle was fixed. M&B is truly the best Auto Repair Business in our area. We are customers for 10+ years and we can only say good things about their service and quality of work. They are honest and dependable and always charge you a fair price. No surprises. Except today, when they fixed an oil leak and did NOT charge me for it. I still feel bad about it, but Rick said that because I just had a service done the week before with them, he did not feel right to charge me for this. Blown away by his pride in their work and customer service. I will keep recommending M&B to my friends and I know they will not disappoint. All I needed was a transmission pan gasket replaced. I had changed the transmission filter and replaced the fluid on my own about a month ago and I must have ordered the wrong gasket because there was a tiny leak. Asked if they could replace the transmission pan gasket and they said they weren't interested because I would probably tell them they broke my transmission if there were any issues. Then the guy on the phone said "if you did it before why can't you just do it again". Well, you guys are mechanics and that's what people pay you to do when they don't have time to do it themselves. I would understand if they told me they weren't interested due to the "risk" in a polite way but telling a customer to just do it yourself is a weird way to run a business.

We just moved to the area and have already needed a mechanic twice. Three different sources pointed us to M & B and now we know why... They did a great job on our vehicles but were also friendly, knowledgeable and priced fairly. Definitely call ahead to make an appointment if possible; they stay busy!

I pulled in during a long car trip after my car started making a dragging noise. They took care of it fast and gave me a temporary fix for free so that I can continue the trip without a hitch. Great service and they were super up front and helpful about everything. My son has been using M&B about 10 years. We moved to this area about 2 years as go. This was my first time to use them. They were great. Replaced my air conditioning compressor and found other small problems as I asked them to do before I drove to Colorado. Prices were good. I have complete trust in them. Thanks so much as it is hard to find good honest companies like this now days. They are the best.

I am so thankful for this shop. My car broke down on 35 on my way to San Marcos from Dallas. I had my dog, all my stuff, and I was worried how long it would take to get my car back. I had someone pick us up, and got my car towed to M&B. Rick was so kind and helpful the entire time, and got my car done quicker than I could ve ever expected. Their customer service was incredible and I am so lucky I found them! They had great pricing, and made sure I had all their contact information if I had any more troubles while I was down in San Marcos. Thank you M&B!

I have used these guys for nearly 10 years. They always do excellent work. There has been a time or two I had to take my car somewhere closer to my work but I always regret it and usually end up taking it to M &B to fix it anyway. They tell you what needs to be fixed and what can slide - they never try to sell you something you don't need. You can drop off and pick up anytime which is a huge benefit. This hometown automobile repair facility seems to be able to handle anything. With the headlights on, the brake lights did not function. With the headlights off, everything was fine. Diagnosed the problem in a couple of hours. Got the parts the next day and completed the repair by mid afternoon. No matter what it is, take your vehicle to M&B.Service: Electrical repair

In my 35 years of life I have never been impressed with the service of an auto repair shop until going to M&B. Every other shop I have used previously was more of a parts replacer than a true mechanic. I took my F150 in for a humming noise in the front end and a coolant leak, and M&B diagnosed and repaired both problems in a matter of hours. They even went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get my truck back before inclement weather. It is safe to say I'm impressed! Thanks M&B!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I heard about M&B from policyholders years ago when I was a State Farm adjuster in Bell county. I used them for all my personal car needs for years until I moved an hour away. I recently got a quote from a shop in my area to replace 2 wheel hubs and sensors for about $1,200. I wasn't sure about the quote so I traveled to M&B and got the work done for $1,000 PLUS had 2 brake pads replaced, wheels rotated, and oil change included in the lower price. I don't know anything about cars, and I can't fix things. But someone who does know a lot about that stuff recommended M&B to me years ago, and I have been a happy customer since.I've taken them simple problems, complex problems, and really stupid problems. They have always provided great results, and have always been honest, up-front, and service-oriented.I try to schedule ahead of time when I can, but several times I have needed urgent service, and they have gone well beyond expectations to save my automotive bacon.Prices are very fair, particularly for the high quality of service. They've always been good about providing reasonable estimates without ever pushing or tacking on unnecessary services.Great local business.

I have been taking my vehicles here for about 5+ years now. It would be longer if I had found them sooner. I ve had a lot of bad experiences with dishonest mechanics. Rick and his crew will never tell you something that isn t true. They are good, honest people. I only trust these guys with my vehicle repairs & maintenance. As long as they are here, they will have my business. Not just mine, but my husband s and dad s, as well. We will never go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

This was our first time using M & B Auto. Our daughter is a new student at UMHB and she needed her car repaired. The campus referred this place to us. I spoke to Mike and felt that he was very genuine and willing to assist knowing that we could not be there. The prices were great and they made good recommendations instead of just saying things needed to be done on her car. I appreciate honest businesses like this and will make sure to spread the word. If you are in the Belden area I highly recommend M&BFull disclosure : I own a Auto Service facility in Plano, TX.Last week my daughter was moving from Dallas to San Marcus on Sat. Her car lost all power on 35 near Salado and she called me, and then arranged to have her BF come get her. I found M&B on goggle and liked their reviews so I had it towed there. The owner Rick called me Monday and said he would do his best to fit it in but they were very busy. 8 hrs later they called me and they found the problem, they said they understood she was not from the area and had to still drive it another couple hrs to San Marcus. They suggested keeping it over night and driving it 40 miles to be sure she would have no other issues, they did and she arranged to pick it up the next day with no issues.In my opinion M&B customer service is 2nd to none, in addition their expertise in finding the root of a wiring issue quickly resulted in a more then reasonable price.Bill Mertz, Owner MasterTech Auto CareService: Engine repair
