My first experience with them was for vehicle inspection for my plates. Being new to Texas, I was unsure of the process but they took good care of me. Two months after the inspection, my ball joint popped out, leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere. Two tow truck drivers said take it to Jones! I m glad I did. They do great work, quick turnaround and reasonable prices. Very nice guys too.

I am amazed. They stated that they were very busy but I explained that I needed to get the inspection done ASAP in order to get my registration after we just moved to the area.... and they did me a favor to squeeze me in on a Saturday over a holiday weekend. I had appointment for an inspection and asked if a warning light could be evaluated.Inspection was done. The Warning Light evaluated and NO repair was needed. I was told by another shop that they would have to charge me $$$ just for the evaluation and then add on to the system check and add on the repair.Jones Home and Auto, stated that the warning light was just due to a misbehaving sensor and that the system it was warning about is fine.I will be back, my wife has a new mechanic and I am so glad to have been advised to "check out these guys" from a transmission repair man. This establishment was a recommendation from another business so I drove over right away and inquired about an appointment for my windshield wiper repair. I was greeted quickly and it was extremely easy to get an appointment for the next day. Mechanics Are Not Lawyers! I needed my 2001 Ford F-350 stake body truck inspected for annual registration in Bell County TX. To my shock and dismay, the mechanic failed the truck for the third brake light being blocked by the stake body. The high mounted brake light works but the bulkhead of the truck bed obscured its view. I asked the mechanic if, "he was sure?" and he insisted that he was and the light is required to be visible. Coincidentally, I had a scheduled appointment with the Texas Auto Theft Task Force following the safety inspection. The officer spent 30 mins inspecting the vehicle and signed my paperwork. A discussion of safety inspection failure for the brake light naturally came up. As a result of that conversation, I verified the TX vehicle code, which also provided examples for the inspection stations to follow. After a series of back and forth text messages with the inspection station, I was able to convince them that they were in error in failing the 11,200 lb GVWR truck.Minor Update: I lowered the steel bulkhead that was higher than the cab and blocked the third brakelight and window. To my surprise, there was actually NO THIRD BRAKE LIGHT installed - Only a plastic cover over the opening for the light. After some research, this is the factory solution for vehicles that don't require the light.Service: Vehicle Inspection

ALWAYS TOP NOTCH and THE BEST LOCAL SERVICE!!!I believe in coming back to a business when the business is good, and these guys are GREAT.I first came to Jones over two years ago for an inspection and just got a good vibe, and I ve been back ever since.They are No nonsense, up front, truly Honest guys and I never feel like the poor know-nothing woman when they explain what s going on.A few weeks ago I had my brakes done and then this week they were making a random noise. I brought the vehicle back in and they took me in, no questions asked; redid the brakes and didn t even charge me! I was FLOORED. Any place else n they would have made up some excuse to at Least charge me for the Labor!!I HIGHLY recommend Jones Auto for your vehicle repairs. You can trust Mr Brandt and the guys for their honesty, integrity and High Quality repairs - EVERY TIME!!Thanks guys!!I ll add pics next time I m down there!

I came here (hesitantly) from a recommendation and WOW. I truly felt welcomed by everyone there. I had to bring my kids, who were also made to feel welcome. The service was wonderful (and incredibly affordable!) and all the staff were friendly and kind. Thank you, we will absolutely be back!

Went for an oil change was super fast and got the job done. They were very friendly and helpful. I then went in for an inspection and they pointed things out to me saying that this needed to be fixed and they did it right then in there. Make sure you call ahead it s easier for them and you. I totally recommend.

Since moving to the Belton Temple area in 2001. I have had many occasions to need the services of a good mechanic. A family member recommended Jones and I've never felt the need to go anywhere else. They have always been professional and have honestly tried to make my visits as "painless* as possible. I can't recommend them highly enough.

This is a business built on honor and trustworthiness. About a year ago I took my car in because I'd been told by two other mechanics that I had very bad back end suspension problems. The guys at Firestone examine the supposed problems and then explained that there were some cracked bushings but they were still protecting the joints. The tie rods and other mentioned problems could not be corroborated by Firestone. Here I am a year later with a car that's running fine, and I'll do business with Firestone over any other station.

Brant & BK are some of the nicest, most down to earth people you will ever want to meet. Plus they are super honest, which is why I drive an extra 17-20 miles for them to work on my car. They are always willing to sit down with you to explain what is going on with your vehicle, and they give you your best options so you can decide for yourself how you want to proceed for getting you back on the road safely. I highly recommend you go there as they are my exclusive mechanics, and even drove there today just to get my state inspection, knowing they would always treat me great. You can not go wrong with these two. Ask for them by name, and you always come back when your vehicle needs help. Have a great day!

I called this morning to get a quote to change my headlights. The quote was very reasonable. The lady at the front was very personable. They had my lights changed in a couple of hours. I met a man named Gary who s been coming to this place for 30 years now. I plan on coming here more. Very customer friendly and honest staff. They re not here to get all your money. They are here for the community.

Never give negative reviews. But 8 HRs for a transmission drain and fill (45 minute procedure max) is unacceptable. Was even waiting in house because I had no ride and Saw numerous friend customers/ call-in customers take priority or in and out within 20 minutes. Don t go unless you re a friend.

These guys are a nice bunch if fellows, and always do a good job on my car. They've been very good to me on finding the best prices on parts, etc. And they will always speak with you about what the problem is with your vehicle, prices, and won't start any job without your permission ! They also seem to understand I'm a single mom on a budget. I've been going to them for over 7 years now.

This is the only place that I will allow to do anything to my Justice. They do really good work for an honest price and they don't try to screw me because I'm a female. Good people and good service. I highly recommend this place for your car repair.

I saw them first for a slow leak in a tire. I went back for oil changes. The engine light came on infrequently but caused no problems but I tracked it (time of day, temp). I think this was the issue that one of the mechanics said they could test by blowing smoke thru the system. I appreciated the discussion but decided not to test this and that. I live and work in Temple now. If I could arrange it, I would go back. I haven't been able to get back in the last 1.5 yrs during their business hours.
