David is incredibly communicative, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. He diagnosed my A/C issue quickly and fixed it the same day for a fair and honest price. He even shows his customers the faulty/broken parts that he replaced so that they can see what was wrong. His invoices are also very detailed and explain every part of the charge. I had a great experience, and I have definitely found the shop I will be using for a long time.

I've yet to try Mr. Doughty 's new shop but I have had the pleasure of 1) knowing Mr. Doughty since we were kids and 2) him being my mechanic when he worked at 2 other locations. Though, I am being honest about my relationship with Mr. Doughty (yes he's family)- by no means let it take away from the fact that he's not only a great Vehicle Whisperer but also a great human being. He's like the Abraham Lincoln of mechanics ala Honest Dave. He will shoot you straight, only lead you in the direction of what you NEED and educate you along the way to prevent such matters again. He is the only shop owner I recommend. And once you've relied upon him- he will feel like family to you as well. Honest, Professional, Fair and Seasoned.

If you are needing to get your car worked on and looking local I highly recommend Doughty automotive! He was able to get me in and out the same day. He was clear and so informative on what he was doing. Made me feel extremely confident in handing my car over to him. Thank you David!

David is one of the most trustworthy and transparent mechanics I ve ever met. And his turnaround time is impeccable compared to other shops. You never have a question about what he s going to fix or how long it will take and what the cost is going to be.

I brought my Jeep in for an oil leak and David found the leak quickly. He is honest, efficient, hard working and also provided a fair quote. He quickly got my vehicle fixed with premium parts. I recommend his services as he will get you fixed up in no time.

I called Dave about 3:30pm because my truck would not go into gear and my abs and traction control light were on. I figured out how to bi pass and got the truck in gear. Once I told Dave what what going on he knew what it probably was. He ordered the part and I headed to his shop. He double checked the diagnostic report and he was right. Changed out my brake light switch and a bad fuse and he had me back on the road headed home just before 6pm. Dave has honest quotes, prices, and uses premium parts so you can rest assure your in he best hands!!! I ll be back soon for a tune up and break job! Go let Dave take care of your vehicle issues!!!

David is not only very knowledgeable, he also has good communication skills and is fair with his customers .. gives a written estimate up front based upon what a repair could entail .My turn around time was great!Give him a chance to win your trust!Thanks David

I took my RV to Doughty Automotive to have a steering stabilizer replaced. He took care of it and I was out of there pronto. He is my new go to guy for car, truck or RV repair. Thank you David!
