I found these folks and checked reviews. I called and talked to the owner who said our diagnostic fee would be credited to the repair should we decide to get it. I took my moms 2014 Accord there and she nailed a curb. They got it in quick and fixed it quick for a reasonable price. We ended up needing a new strut assembly, new sway bar link, and an alignment for $640 which I felt was reasonable for the experience we had. Hope yall enjoy many years of success.

Chris and the staff at Cen-Tex Automotive (not to be confused with Cen-Tex Auto) are by far the best place to have work done on your vehicle. The surrounding area is flooded with parts changer mechanics. While they may mean well, from my few dealings with them, it was clear they were not mechanics who could actually figure out what was wrong with my vehicle, correctly diagnose it, and fix the problem. Chris and his guys however are true mechanics who actually know what they are doing. He takes the time to accurately figure out the issue before calling you back and trying to quote you something. I stopped in unannounced for a few different issues on my 2014 Honda Accord Sport, knowing I d have to most likely leave my car. On top of that it was the week of July 4th. Chris told me if I could leave the car, as soon as possible he d get to it. In 2-3 days, he was able to diagnose a serious transmission issue that was mis diagnosed at another local chain shop. Chris recommended a reputable transmission shop, and even had the car towed there without me having to be present.I have been back for various other things for both of my cars, including my 2016 4Runner, and I feel 100% confident that Chris will continue to take care of my cars just like he would his own vehicles. While you may or may not have the car back same day, I can tell you they will take the time to properly diagnose and gather your options prior to just trying to upsell you into unneeded work.10/10, will recommend to everyone!

Chris gave me an estimate for fixing a couple EGR codes and found the real issue all while maintaining great communication and pricing fair. He is a great troubleshooter.

Great service & low pricing to work on vehicles. Jenna & Chris are 2 of the most awesome people ever. I had a brake light problem that was diagnosed in like 5 seconds. Chris ordered the part, put it on in a few minutes and wouldn't even accept my money. God bless y'all for the kindness.

This is the only mechanic I'll use and refer!! Always honest, affordable and the right work gets done right the first time. Finding a great mechanic is equivalent to a dinosaur sighting and Chris Gregg and his team are a bunch of great Dinosaurs. Bring your car there with great confidence!!!

I own a driving school. I now bring my entire fleet here for all auto repairs. Chris is like a precision auto surgeon/Dr. As he diagnoses and fixes anything. I recently brought in one of our older driver Ed. Vehicles. It's running like new for less than 10% of the cost of a new vehicle before financing and insurance. Chris (the owner) is an awesome mechanic and all around great guy. His reputation in the community is well deserved. He's a skilled mechanic with fair and transparent pricing. He got my car back to running like new (we've got over 100k miles). He's worked on our older Honda as well with the same results. You can't get this kinda service at the automotive chain shops. I'll never take my vehicles anywhere else.

For the first time in my life I was given an auto repair quote and was PLEASANTLY surprised. The prices are great. The service is prompt, and there is the 2 year warranty. They are communicative and thorough and saw problems I didn t see (or hear in my case). For the foreseeable future, I m going to have to continue driving my high mileage truck. I am comforted by the fact that I will be able to continue doing so at a reasonable cost with high quality service from Chris Gregg and his team. Chris Gregg and his team at Cen-Tex Automotive are the best. We moved to Temple Belton area less than a year ago and ran into Chris and Jenna at a local networking group. We ve only brought our cars to them because of the level of service and care and honesty. It truly is dealership quality at half the cost with a smile, a handshake, and that extra above and beyond service. Can t recommend these guys enough. If you need any automotive work done on your vehicle don t take it anywhere else and all of bell county. Belton, Temple, Salgado, Killeen, Harker Heights, everybody should go to Cen-Tex Automotive .

I prefer doing business with Cen Tex Automotive because I trust them. I have used their 2 year 50K mile warranty in the past and it was the easiest process to fix the problem. A manufacturers part installed was defective and caused problems with sensors right away, but after calling to inform them, they fixed it no questions asked! Starter went out on my vehicle. Requested an OEM replacement and they found and installed the part at a competitive and timely rate in comparison to other shops in the Bell County area. All staff were very respectful and made you feel welcomed

I am beyond grateful I found Centex Automotive. Chris and his Team make sure that both my personal vehicle, and my fleet of work trucks, are operational and on the road. They are efficient, know what they are doing, and great at communicating honestly and effectively--especially to somebody like me who doesn't know the first thing about vehicles. Chris and his crew have worked on my 20+ year old 4Runner several times. I love my truck and want to squeeze as much life out of it as possible, so I rely on Cen Tex to keep it running and feeling (nearly) new!They are kind, responsive, reasonable on cost, and competent. I can't say enough about about Chris and his crew they run a really good shop my AC blows colder than it ever has not only that but they did an amazing tune up oil change and they replaced all my coolant hoses and did such a great job I can tell a difference even though my truck still has a few problems but that's not because of them it's amazing I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you have engine problems you have any kind of issue with your vehicle I highly suggest take it by there let them work on it great price great team of people just really amazing I am I am definitely convinced that this will be the place that I will take my vehicle for as long as I live in central texas.

I highly recommend Cen-Tex Automotive! Chris has worked on our cars for years, and he always does a fantastic job, responds quickly, and gets our cars back in purring condition in no time! Chris and Jenna both provide excellent customer service, and their technicians are equally wonderful. There is no where else I trust to send my cars. Cen-Tex Automotive is the best automotive shop around!

Cen-Tex automotive always keeps my truck running in tip top shape. As a mobile massage therapist, I depend on my truck being able to reach all of my patients. If my vehicle is going to be out of commission for more than an hour, Cen-Tex works with me to make sure I am able to keep up with my work flow too! Great business and I highly recommend!

This is the only shop for my 89 Shelby Dakota, 65 Lincoln, and all my Daily Drivers.
