Useless staff. The pump is accepting my ultraone card. But it s not building any shower points because according to the staff the card is not active after it hasn t been used in a while. Understandable. I have a receipt to prove that I just fueled minutes ago. Staff tells me that s not enough and that I ll have to pay for shower.I fueled, I was gonna shower and get something to eat. I m so disappointed at this Petro. I will drive to another truck stop before I give them anymore of my business. Shame on you Travel Centers Of America.Update 3/3/24Passing through the area. I stopped at Stuckey s to get fuel and food instead of this dump. All because of a lack of compassion and lack of knowledge from incompetent staff.

After driving all night I find a parking spot and go inside for a long overdue meal. Only to be told they are full and I will have to wait awhile.There were plenty of seats at the counter and 5 or 6 empty tables.This is supposed to be a Truck stop!Petro you have lost my business!

Ms. Donna is the absolute best and very friendly. Such a sweet spirit and her food is delicious, the boudain sausage and meat pie are too sure for. The cashier was nice also. This was in the fuel building.

Decent appearance with a nice size Driver lounge. The food was delicious. Had pancake platter with Turkey sausage. Service was very good especially bringing my very own pincher.

Staff at fuel island are great and courteous. Restaurant is great place to eat. Only complaint is the showers. Very disgusting and filthy!

I tried the new Black Bear Dinner at Petro.I was disappointed in the food. I got the Bacon Burger with fries. The burger was small and the bun was soggy, the taste was ok. Fries so salty, I could only taste the salt, not the fry. Service was good. I would not ever get this menu item again. Over $10 for meal plus $2 tip. I could pay a lot less and get a bigger, better Burger meal at most fast food. I will return and try other items on menu. The rest of Petro was what you would expect. Clean and well maintained.

The people in the shop I don t know how to describe them but they told me they will get to my truck and fix it in two hours the latest but after two hours they called me they said we cannot get to you until tomorrow the rest of my time I wish I could give them less than one

1st time here...from the fuel island to main store & Black Bear Dinner...i have to say i was very impressed, friendly service and awsome Dinner!!!!!! A++++++

Absolute garbage. As a truck driver I understand that there is delays and tire maintenance can't get to someone right away. When you keep telling a driver 60-90 minutes to get help with his tire blowout and it's been 6 hours it's beyond pathetic. Stop beating around the bush. If it's going to take your employee 6-8 hours to get to someone just tell the client that. I can make a call and do business with someone else.

Good place to take an early walk around the truck stop, getting your exercise, keeping DOT, from only giving a 6 month or a 1 year medical card. LOL

Big parking lots,pay-per-no-view(RP)parking spots are in the front building and pot holes are every where..Black Bear Diners for food..good foods but they need to do something about truck drivers..in busy hours drivers can t afford to waste time to get their food..that s why it called truck stop..Hope they can think a way to accommodate them not to wait longer

As of September 29th 2023 you guys have got a really serious theft problem going on in your parking lot at nightI called the police tonight and there was two men breaking into your truck wash tonight trying to take stuff and you have a lot of suspicious activity going on in your parking lot at nightthis is on a Saturday night because there's a lot of suspicious activities I've seen about three pickup trucks tonight surveillancing trucks with trailers they are going back trying to see what drivers are hauling in the back of their trailers, a black chevy or GMC pick up around 2010 model that was coming through here.that's not good I just want to let you all know what's going on and as I was leaving I spotted them over at the hotel across Interstate 10 by the shell station as i was leaving.that back parking lot needs to have a light pole installed its soo dark these crooks come in here unseen and that truck wash building needs to be torn down..to keep these crooks away

Can t park in half the truck stop because it s reserved. What a joke. Don t spend any money here. The restaurant is a bigger joke. Always a 30 minute wait. Apparently all locals can t go eat somewhere else. Need a drivers only section in the restaurant like all the other Petros.

Don't get truck service at this location. I wouldn't recommend getting truck service at any TA because of the negative customer relations and corporate culture. I was diagnosed with a faulty fan clutch here and they put the fan part on backwards. After overheating in the summer, the dealership repaired it. Of course they denied fault. I lost time and money. Screw them before they Screw you.

Went in to fix slack adjuster on trailer. .have them put it back together. .Push rod system15 minute job.had me waiting 3 hours at this petro garage. ..Black people first. ..white people 3ed. .......

Very clean restrooms. We ate a delicious breakfast at The Black Bear Diner. Our waitress Melissa was so chill and nice. She is a great person to start the day with. All the staff I came in contact with were awesome. Highly recommended. Note to big truck drivers: Do be aware the lot still has a lot of work left after the flood. It is definitely doable but navigate carefully.

THE WORST SHOP SERVICES I'VE EVER RECEIVED. I NEEDED A TIRE REPAIR TODAY. I CALLED 16:38, ASKED HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST TO REPAIR ONE OF MY DRIVE TIRES AND I WAS TOLD AROUND $56.00 IF THAT'S IT. I ASKED THE TECH IF HE COULD PUT ME IN THE QUE, IT BEING I WAS ONLY 20MINS. AWAY. THE TECH SAID HE CAN'T DO THAT, IT'S FIRST COME FOR SERVICE. I SAID OK I'LL BE THERE IN A FEW. I ARRIVED AT 16:53, AS I WAS WALKING IN THE SHOP A COMPASS TRUCKING DRIVER PULLS UP. I GO INTO THE SHOP AND SETUP SERVICE. I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE NEXT AND THE TECH WAS FINISHING UP WITH ANOTHER DRIVER. A HOUR AND HALF GOES BY. I LOOK OUT MY WINDOW, I DON'T SEE THE COMPASS TRUCK. I FIGURED HE DON'T WANT TO WAIT ANY LONGER. I WALK BACK INTO THE SHOP THE COMPASS DRIVER IS SITTING IN THE LOUNGE AND HIS TRUCK IS BEING WORKED ON. I ASKED THE TECH HOW DID HE GET IN BEFORE ME? HE ASKED ME, WHY AM I GOING TO DO HIM LIKE THAT? I ASKED DO YOU LIKE WHAT? YOU MEAN DO ME LIKE THAT. I ASKED HOW IS HIS TRUCK BEING WORKED ON BEFORE MINE? HE SAID THE DRIVER CALLED IN FIRST, I KNEW HE WAS LYING. HE JUST TOLD ME AT 16:38 HE CAN'T PUT ME IN THE QUE OVER THE PHONE. I REPEATED TO HIM WHAT HE SAID. HE LOOKED SO DUMBFOUNDED. SO I CALLED LOVES 5MI UP THE ROAD, EXPLAINED THE SITUATION, LOVES SAID IF I GET HERE, I CAN GET RIGHT IN BECAUSE NO ONE WAS WAITING. GOT TO LOVES NOTHING BUT TRANSPARENCY. I WAS IN AND OUT IN 20MINS. A LOT OF THE TA'S AND PETRO'S ARE ALWAYS ON STRAIGHT TRASH.

Young lady working the fuel island was very nice. She had coffee nice and fresh. Food was yummy from the kitchen. She deserves a raise. Best experience I have had at this location.

Very good place to stop. Employees are super friendly and take care of all your needs. Lots of truck parking. The food is amazing and a reasonable price and they give you alot. You will not go away hungry. The place is clean! The shower had good water pressure. I love this place and recommend it to everyone. I didn't even have one bad thing to say about this place. Everything and everyone is amazing.

Worst truck service, waited 7 hours just for one trailer tire. The lady skipped me and took the guy that came after me. When I told them I ve been skipped she said no the guy been here since yesterday. I asked that guy he said no I came right after you, don t waste your time here.

There would give more stars, but the restaurant rating brings it way down. I am a truck driver, so I sat in the "truck drivers" section. Most of the counter and tables were dirty. There seemed to be no worker working there. Then a woman that had been sitting at the counter said that she was off the clock would help me anyway, then she explained; "a team was here." I accepted this accuse at first, and she gave me my drink and a menu. Then about 5 min. later a team of young women walked out. Finally 3 waitresses came from where the team had been. One waitress for my section appeared in front of my dirty spot, slapped down a napkin and silver, and asked me for my order. I asked her to wipe my spot. She huffed and then wiped. Now realize that all the other dirty spots had no one at them anymore. I realize why she not getting it clean. She was also the cashier. The cook/manager yelled for the other servers to help her but they didn't. I started to feel bad for her until a few moments later the restaurant slowed down. I finally got my overcooked undersize steak, when other servers came over to my section and chit chatted with this waitress. They ignored the customers, they left the mess. The rest of the travel shop was clean and nice.

They were awesome. They were extremely accommodating and the over all visit was well worth the price we paid. I highly recommend this place without any reservations. It was a decent place to stop on our road trip. Nice gift shop

A place I stopped often when I was a long haul Truck driver back 30 plus years ago. I stop in now a days when traveling as I know it's always been a safe place and they serve good food. That day it was a quick stop for some of my passengers.
