This place has been my go-to for parts, machine work of all varieties, and good advice for decades. Mark Davis, the head machinist and sales executive, is literally the best in the business. As good as they come. Would recommend to anyone looking for top notch machining and expertise.

Took my LS1 to these guys, father and son. They are awesome. I had such a great time here because they actually taught me things about my engine. I'd hate to Have to need them again, but I feel so blessed to have met and done business with these men. I'll definitely use them for all my machine work from now on.

Brought my 460 Ford engine block here to be machined a couple years ago. They did a great job. They straightened everything out better than the factory did! The motor is still running strong. Definitely recommend them.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Super great people, I wanted to build a 1000hp naturally aspirated engine on pump gas, they gave me several options and I decided to go with the 632 bbc. Mark and Jacob kept me informed throughout the build. I will definitely be going back on my next engine.

Jacob was knowledgeable, friendly, he communicated well and was genuinely concerned with my vehicles well being. I had a turbocharged 5-cylinder Volvo cylinder head with bucket lifters machined and Jacob took the time to discuss all of his findings and processes with me. He was upfront with his timeline and budget and I left feeling that I received more than my money s worth. Brought a 6.0 LS that another machine shop screwed up, Mark was very honest up front, but was able to make repairs and brought everything back to spec. Jacob has performed all the machining on my vintage Triumph sports car engine. Very friendly, takes time to make recommendations and discuss your project. He has some really nice personal projects that he is working on and will show you if you express an interest. His work is immaculate and you will be very happy with his and his father's work. Highly recommend this shop.

Spoke to both Jacob and Mark about a tractor head I dropped off for inspection and possibly repair if needed.Was contacted when I was told, and wasn't upsold a bunch of unnecessary work. Unheard of these days. Price was reasonable. Definitely would recommend and will use them again on the Jeep rebuild.

I took an old 350 to Mark that I wanted to build a stroker with. Quality of work was excellent, done in a timely manner, and Mark kept me updated throughout the whole process and was clear on what the parts and machine work would cost. Definitely recommend to anyone needing machine work done to their engine.

I had a old junkyard 454 built up. Mark and Jacob are awesome. They helped recommend the best parts. Their attention to detail is top notch. If you want your engine built right, this is the place! Thanks guys.

This poorly installed cam bearing was installed at Mark's shop instead of fixing it, he justified it and said it was okay. I didn't pay him for okay, I paid to have it installed correctly. Then his attitude became worse than this work. I also requested the oil Galley plug under the rear bearing cap to be changed he said he did, but he lied and I had to change it, and the list of buyers remorse is too much to list. Unless you are one of his buddies I recommend you find another machine shop.

Mark shaved a cylinder head that was warped from overheating for me. Excellent job. They pay very close attention to detail to insure its done right at a Very reasonable and fair price. I would highly recommend Mark's Machine Shop!

Mark and Jacob are awesome people had them do my gen 4 ls motor also learned a lot from Mark teaching me about the installation of the motor .10/10

Mark insisted the bearing was ok, I insist that I didn't pay for ok, I simply wanted it done correctly, like the work he does on his own car.His attitude is hostile and unprofessional .This shop will never work for me or anyone that I know again. I have run across several customers of Mark's.we all agree,Mark can be a nice guy sometimes, but he's gaining a reputation for only doing great work on his own car. he behavior is schizophrenic.

Had a crank shaft and valve seats cut. Also resurfaced head..did nice work..which led to having cylinder liners bored to fit pistons in small diesel. Original time frame given was 2wks.. after 6wks,a phone call was made to find out new time frame estimate..the owner got bent out of shape by my obvious frustration at this point and after having my block for 6wks told me he wouldn't do the work. Even an unnecessary apology couldn't get the owner to have a conversation. These engines and poweplants are important to us and I would not want anyone to invest that kind of time just to be turned away by a temperamental owner. ..although if you manage not to upset him and don't have any expectations on time tables..he does nice work.

I just went to pick up my block and the assembly parts and everything looks great Mark always answering my questions about any details and giving suggestions on how to do the assembly in case you need information he's always willing to give the right answer..great people...definitely I will consider this machine shop for my next project!

Were a little slow on getting some main bearings pressed in. Took 2 days longer than estimated. Price was very good though.
