Called to see if I could get an oil change, told the person best bet is I would arrive at 5 pm because of work. I asked if it would be okay or not, that way i could schedule another day. The person told me that they could take me in & I would be the last one for the day. Once I arrived at 5, no one was there and the person said they already left.Services: Air conditioning, Oil change

When you overhear the service counter telling a old woman that her tires need to be rotated every 15k..That IS NOT good OR correct. Tires should be rotated long before 15k.

Short story: The service department at Kinsel attempted to charge me nearly 2X the industry standard for parts. Also, they performed the work without my permission.Long story with details:I am leaving this review for an incident that happened a few months ago. I never got around to reviewing. I got caught up with school and work and also I hate leaving bad reviews. But I feel this review must be left. First, my catalytic converters were stolen. Insurance agreed to pay me for the damages, but I needed to get a quote for an amount for them to pay. I took it to Kinsel for a quote. They gave me a quote for original manufacturer parts. Kinsel then went ahead and repaired the vehicle with aftermarket parts WITHOUT CONSULTING ME. The service lady states that I gave consent over the phone but this was impossible because the only reason I took it them was to get a quote for my insurance. There is no way I said anything that indicated that I wanted the work done because it was never my plan to have them do the work.Although I never agreed to the repairs, I figured it would be completely unreasonable to ask them to take the parts off. So I decided to try to work things out with them. Because they put on the aftermarket parts which are cheaper than the original manufacturer parts that were in the original quote, I assumed we would be able to agree to a lower price. This was not the case. The original quote was around $5900. The new quote with the cheaper aftermarket parts was $5500. While this is $400 less, it should have been about $1800 less. In other words, they were attempting to overcharge me $1400. They told me that the aftermarket parts are not always cheaper and that this was one of those cases. Well fortunately I had done my homework and I knew that the exact parts that go on my truck were indeed much cheaper than the original parts. I had called other dealerships and priced the parts. I knew for a fact that they were overcharging me. Also, on the new quote the language was ambiguous. There were no part numbers and specific parts were not listed. For example, there was section that simply listed Complete Exhaust System . This was very different from the first quote which had every part itemized with part numbers. I can only assume the second quote they gave me was purposely vague so it would be more difficult to look up prices for the parts.I called and spoke with the Lisa and Ursuca asking how this could be the price when I know the parts are cheaper. Eventually, they brought in the mechanic who worked on the truck to try to explain it to me. But as the conversation progressed it became obvious that the prices on the quote were completely inaccurate and way too high. After the conversation, Ursuca agreed to rewrite the quote. It was rewritten in the correct manner, with all part numbers listed and the prices reflected industry standard prices. Basically they took off $1400.When I came in to pick up the truck, I expected someone to be at least slightly apologetic. This was a very unflattering situation for them. I thought they would try to make peace. But the conversation with Ursuca was not reassuring. She feigned ignorance of the issues and of the overcharging rather than owning up to it. She talked down to me, as if I wasn t fully aware of the situation. At one point, she threatened to call my insurance and let them know what I was doing. I chuckled at this, because it was my insurance who had told me to do what I was doing (getting the quote so they could pay me for damages). All in all, this conversation made me feel SO MUCH WORSE. I had hoped we could part ways amicably, but they decided to act tough instead of being apologetic and admitting any wrongdoing. Also while all of this was going on, I was having to catch rides to work and school. It was horrible.All in all, it was an awful experience. I would not recommend using Kinsel s service department for anything other than an oil change. They are not honest. And I felt taken advantage of, not taken care of.

Had my tires rotated and vehicle serviced there. Friendly staff and nice waiting area to wait for your vehicle serviced. Has a large screen with amazing landscapes.

They do pretty good taking care of my car. Prices for replacement parts are WAY too high. They have a delicious coffee/cappuccino machine in the customer waiting area.

A grill shutter warning light came on while driving down the highway. I pulled up they took my car straight back, checked it ,reset it and sent me in my way in about 20 minutes. Love the service department. I have 5 Toyota and they care for all of them.

They were more concerned with selling me tires than investigating the cause of the issue I came in for. I knew I needed new ujoints but they wouldn't even consider looking into that until I agreed to purchase new tires from them.
