I ve used City Springs several times but this last time when bringing it in was a disaster. I dropping it off and it took him almost 9 days to even call me to inform me what was wrong. Along with him telling me I needed a new AC system he told me I needed turbos. I let him fix the ac but he said he couldn t fix the turbos. 1999.00 later I brought the car elsewhere to see about the turbos. Come to find out I didn t need new turbos. Ok I get my car back and my ac still isn t blowing cold. I brought it back to City Springs and he put more refrigerant in it. It blew cold maybe a couple of days and then back to not blowing cold. I called and left a message and received no call back. Out of curiosity I took it back to the place that fixed the other problem and told them to look at my AC. It ended up being a bad valve that needed replacing. At that point I wasn t about to let City Springs touch my car. I ve got stage four cancer and drive back and fourth to Houston every month and depend on my car and the owner at City Springs new that. Long story short DO NOT bring your car here please go elsewhere. I m extremely disappointed in City Springs I really thought I was dealing with an honest man but evidently not.

Sam did an outstanding job replacing shocks and struts on my GMC Sierra Denali, which was a magneride delete and customer service was excellent. Highly recommended.

My wife went to have a front end alignment and have traction light fixed. The aignment work was perfect but they could not fix the traction indicator, but told my wife it was fixed, light came back on and the mechanic charged her for the service and basically told her "oh well" it wasn't anything he could do, but he didn't refund her money or give explanation of services, I feel he took advantage of a woman by not fixing the problem and if unable to fix the problem, explain why and don't charge her if problem wasn't resolved.

Very good auto repair shop. The owner is super nice and honest. They repaired my vehicle and did a great job at a reasonable price. The repair shop I previously went to attempted to rip me off charging me for parts I did not need and City Spring and Brake repaired the problem at a much cheaper price and did not attempt to sell me anything I did not need.

1 star for doing the repair for needed but -20 for screwing up my brakes which could have caused a fatal accident. My 70 something yr old dad, evidently more adept at this craft of automotive repair, had to come in from out of town to fix what city spring s owner and his body guard did to my car. This was a year ago, and I m still extremely perturbed that city spring s owner took my money and twice let me drive off with my brakes/rotors that were being ground down by a bolt/pin that was bent out of it s position when he jammed it back. And, put my tires back on WITHOUT using the lock key. I had a case with BBB, but they only documented the dispute. Never helped at all! In the end, people will recognize that easy, shade tree work is all this company is good for. I m comforted in knowing I m not alone but not pleased that the city continues ignoring the extent of the company s refusal to own up to its horrendous errors. People s lives are at risk due to their shoddy work on vehicle performance issues. Ladies, take a guy with you, ask for verification of the body guard/attendant s ASE certification, and don t pay until AFTER someone else checks the repair . Smiles don t mean a thing, and he ll try to laugh at you behind your back once your money is taken. I ll finish with exactly what I told the owner... GOD DOESN T SLEEP!

My husband took his truck to this mechanic because it was running hot, he "supposedly" replaced the thermostat, radiator and radiator cap (to the tune of 600.00 plus dollars) and it was STILL running hot. It was ANOTHER mechanic who noticed the shabby workmanship (hose too long and the pulleys rubbed a hole in the hose) and WOULD NOT TOUCH IT. We took it back and it was STILL doing the same thing, now he says "oh its the water pump and that's another 900.00). He claimed they didn't "notice" the water pump was the issue!! This guy is a JOKE!! Take your vehicles somewhere else otherwise he will BLEED you for everything you have!!

One thing about City Spring & Brake they gonna tell you what's wrong with your car before they touch it weather they do you new parts or not they damn good but high as hell.
