We had taken our car to two places to check the transmission. One did not have the correct software. The other said we needed to leave it with them for 3 weeks before they could look at it. We drove to Wendell's, which is spotless. Within 10 minutes, they had put it on the computer and discovered there was nothing wrong with it. The total charge was NOTHING.

If you need Transmission or other Auto repairs, always go to Wendell's. They are honest and offer reasonable prices on repairs. Their staff is also really knowledgeable and helpful. Go to them first!!

Amazing service, I have been looking for a mechanic shop for 11 months since moving to baytown. Wendells tranmission is hands down the best shop and where I will be going from now on. I did not have any repairs done because there were none needed. Wendell took the time to check my truck and made a few recommendations that I could do myself. I found him to be very professional and honest. This will be my go to transmission shop in the future. Thanks Wendell

How am I limited to a 5 star rating, when this shop DESERVES A 10+ STAR RATING.We were on the way home to Louisiana when I ran into transmission trouble. We limped along to Wendell's shop with the closet Google search, boy we were lucky. He diagnosed the problem within 15 mins. He had me fixed up with a sensor swap on a 4 hour job and back on the road by the next day. He also dropped off our family at the hotel and picked me up the next day. We was overjoyed with gratitude after the fix. But he took it to the next level by calling me personally later that evening to make sure we made it home with our remaining 4 hour drive. Mr. Wendell is very professional, highly skilled, technologically advanced, HONEST, and cares about people.Thank you Mr. Wendell for your services! A huge sign of relief! I was worried about a couple of clutch issues with my manual camaro and Wendell took me in same day. Not only was he knowledgeable but his customer service and approach to me as a client was very genuine. He gave me piece of mind and very quick results. I recommend anyone with any type of car/trans to head over and see Wendell. I couldn't be happier with the work done.

I called Wendell due to concerns of noises that my clutch was making on my 2008 Dodge Ram. Wendell provided me with possible causes, and said that I should bring my truck in so he could take a look. If you have ever been to another mechanic type shop and you see parts laying around, oil puddles on the floor, you might want to go somewhere else like Wendell s.One thing I would like to say is his shop is very, very clean. I explained that I would like to have the clutch replaced with a better non Mopar clutch assembly with a better brand. Luckily Wendell suggested a brand that I have researched and has had great reviews ( South Bend Clutch Assembly). It took approximately one week to get the parts in and one day for the install.No more noises coming from the truck as I push the clutch in, so I m happy.Wendell took the time to show me the old clutch and issues that it had. Customer service is fantastic. If you like you truck and care that it s handled right, use Wendell s. Thank you Wendell for being dedicated to your profession and your shop.Service: Transmission

Wendell is a great guy. Brought truck in and it was diagnosed while we waited. Very knowledgeable and got the job done quick. I'd def recommend this shop. Just hope we don't have to see him again for awhile. Lol.

Very professional place and workshop. Very clean for a transmission shop with kept tools and floors too. Wendell, the owner, is top notch and straight to the point. Great warranty and praying their work lasts longer than their 3yr warranty!!!

Wendell was great to deal with. No BS kind of guy. Asks a lot of questions to trouble shoot before you take jim your vehicle. Diagnosed my issue quickly and had my truck repaired in 2 days.

I have been helping my brother with trying to get his truck repaired. My brother sent his truck to Wendell to get his truck rewired due to a critter eating the main wiring harness. It took a month to find the right harness, and now it is 1 1/2 month later (total of 2.5 months and counting) with the truck still torn apart. After a month, Wendell told me "he was only going to work on the truck when he could cause he could not support his shop working on the truck due to the extensive amount of work". Now I understand bills need to be paid, but this is a business and I am a paying customer. I went two weeks ago and spoke with Wendell (he has not called to give either me or my brother updates) who said he wanted the truck out just as much as I wanted the truck back but he only had the new harness in since he had received the correct harness which was about a month ago. Now, two weeks later (2 1/2 months total) the truck is still in the bay, no updates to what is going on, or updates to when the truck will be finished. I can only give three stars cause he has talked to me when I show up at the business otherwise it would be one star.

Went here years back when I was doing a job in Baytown I was from out town. My transfer had a hole in it. I lost all my oil and burnt it up. They immediately got me in and went to work. He could not find the correct splien for my drive shaft but he found a whole complete drive shaft all the way in San Antonio. He sent his worker all the way there to get it got my truck fixed and back on the road in one day. Great service at a great price. Best transmission shop O have ever been to

I had a small problem but Wendell took the time to inspect it change a seal and make some recommendations based on his vast experience.If I ever need any transmission work it will be done at Wendell's!

A little expensive but I thought at the time the service was good. Well three months later my car was doing the exact same thing and He actually told me to drive it until it breaks down then call so he could figure out what was wrong.. I couldn't believe it.

Very good service ,owner and technicians.These folks are great,my transmission was toast ,they rebuilt flushed the lines and torque ,and now runs 20 degrees cooler than before.I am totally satisfied.You can try other places if you want but for me and my money it will always be Wendells transmission.Work backed up with warranty.Stands alone in the quality of work.Believe me i have tried them all.

Wendell's transmission shop is great they have a nice and very clean facility and they have speedy service, I've been there twice and each time they were excellent I will for sure use them again in the future when I have to replace the clutch on my wife's car, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good and fast service from them

My friend took his Nissan Murano 5300+ dollars ,for a trans. When he got it back his wife and grandkids were going to visit family in college station. They didn't make it and it was because they didn't put it back together property bolts were loose and they denied they had anything to do with it . Glad no one was hurt due to novice mechs
