My company called the evening before my arrival. I checked in about 7:30 am. and was fixed up before 8:45 am. The mechanic/technician explained exactly what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it and got me on my way. Excellent customer service from the counter and the shop.

Stopped in to get my oil changed. It took him a while but they're pretty busy. They talk to me and kept me well informed on the Wait good place to park. Very good food. They have a store and a separate little store where you can set while you're semis being serviced or fixed. They do both. The weight might be a little longer than you would like, but it's worth it. Waiting 30 minutes for psi and truck inspection unbelievable . No one in the line. There is not like truck being serviced. Some dude came in said he will get me and left . TA it s horrible service ! You should not deserve prime locations by Highway !Some one came after I posted. I will change it.

20 hours to change a wheel speed sensor on a trailer.Didn't have part. Waited till morning so they could order it. (15 hours.) Could not leave because they took wheels and drum off to access sensor.Technician has part and keeps stepping off to other jobs or something.No explanation from anyone on why it is taking so long.

Had an alignment done here an the tech on duty went above an beyond to ensure a complete inspection of all components were adjusted to specs in a very timely manner would recommend the TA in Baytown for their work to be done here.

Went for an oil change and the oil plug was "free spining", they recommended to replace oil pan and gasket, done. When I went to pick up the truck the next day I checked the coolant level and it was low even though they stated in the RO that fluids were fill and also that was included in the PM I purchased. I mean. Do I need to check for lube , tire pressure, torque specs and everything else that is sold in the package? Well... now about a week later my truck is getting towed due to engine oil low pressure because my brand new OEM oil pan is leaking. My oil $400 oil change became a $1968 RO and now a week later is becoming a $1375 tow + parts + labor. It would be a 1 star but some people working there are great and will communicate with you as needed.Update: Upon visual inspection, bolt completely loose and blown oil pan gasket.

I walked in and saw some nice pork chops. I love me some TA pork chops when they are available. $5.96 a piece. Pretty expensive. But, I rarely treat myself. Before I could pay, a young mechanic (whom reminded me of my Son) leaned over the young lady at the cash register and said,..."Take care of this man. He's a truck driver. Not really knowing what was going on, I was charged $5.00 for the 4 chops. With our country heading in the direction of assured destruction, it renews my faith in America when something like this happens to me. GOD BLESS AMERICA, and God bless that young mechanic who went out of his way to make my whole day, if not whole year because of his actions. I will indeed be a lifetime supporter of the truck stop. God bless this country and all the truly wonderful people who continue to make it great everyday!

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Made an appointment online for a PM on my 18 wheeler in the app 3 hrs before I was going to be at their shop. Got here and after 4 hrs I called the shop and they said I was next. 3 hrs later I went into the shop and there were just a bunch of kids standing around doing nothing. After I complained they told me to pull in bay 3. So, after 7 hrs waiting here come to find out they don't have my oil filters for a Paccar motor. It will be around 8am tomorrow before they can get them. Told them if you would have gotten me in at my appointment time of 14:45, we could have gotten the filters before everything closed. Will not be back. What good is reserving an appointment time if it does no good?

Truck stop parking was great, inside store was clean N well stocked. However the TA TRUCK SERVICE rush through are trailer didn't even fix the ABS problem I told him just change the whole sensor out inside he change a wire connected to the sensor, when we left hit a bump on the hwy light came back on. Had mobile service and of course he said bad sensor, one bad brake chamber, bad bushings. SO WELL DONE TA.

Worst customer service you can get!!! The people that work over here does not care at all about customers or the company that pays their salaries!!! Very ignorant and they are trying to avoid by all means to work!!! Don t waste your time coming to their shop!!!

Checked in at 5:30 never received a phone call went back to check at 10:30 they said they hadn't heard anything from my company so they didn't move me up the line. Called my company they said they never received anything from them entire night wasted. Didn't bother having them go through with the work because they told me if I got the work approved it wouldn't be till 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning before they could get me in.

I first want to say bathrooms weren't the cleanest they weren't bad but could have been better. With that being said. Everyone was nice and professional. The best th8ng is IHOP is open 24/7!!!! It's very hard to find that nowadays.

Very slow service, we stood for 4 hours and could not repair the tires. We just wasted our time. And It's terrible we changed the oil and the new filter is 5 hours. They even filled out a check to pay for almost an hour! Never use this service!!!

This is goes to show that sometimes patience and a good attitude pays off. My alternator died, I didn't know that it was my alternator I thought it was my battery. Yesterday I got a battery and a jump start at a loves and continued on down the road today while I'm on I-10 right in front of this ta my alternator died and I needed another jump. I went back to the shop and the roadside tech also was the same gent to replace my alternator and fix an air chamber all in about an hour. Thank you so much guys I'll be good for another couple hundred thousand miles

the mechanic was working approximately 45 minutes on my trailer AND CHARGED ME THREE AND A HALF HOUR LABOR !! to be exact he started working on my trailer 15 minutes and jumped WORKING ON OTHER TRAILERS changing tires on one trailer and fixing brakes on another and I watched him doing all this OTHER WORK !! DON T EVEN STOP HERE !!!

I went and ask first if the had all the parts needed to replace all brakes and drums and fix an issue with the ABS I was told " we should " went into the bay he started to take the wheels off find out he only had brake shoes for the drives only and the drums weren't the right size . 11 hrs later after changing a speed sensor he said he needed to fo he and an other technician was gonna finish it. Waited 2 hrs for an other tec but never came I went inside and asked and was told they were trying to find the tec. And was told they were wanna close me out After $ 1470.00 I still have the ABS issue and only the drives have new brakes. It a shame this people can rob the customer like that and NOT fix the problem.. Never again..!!!!!

I live in the area so I go to TA BAYTOWN frequently this time for a Landstar DOT inspection. The most complete and hard inspection that I ever had for truck and trailer,Otis was very professional,serious and communicative.I really appreciate this kind of hard inspection Because I go out to the road knowing that my equipment is in good shape. 4 stars because TA,I think need to have more personal in this shop is very busy almost always.

Love coming here. The shop always does an outstanding job. I really appreciate Mr. KJ, he's always straight to the point & doesn't want me to wait in getting my truck in the shop. I've made this location one of my permanent stops. Keep up the great work!

Ok T/A-Petro Corporation. I know that no one wants to work anymore but there's got to be something done to fully staff your shops. If I had called you out for a road service it might have been 3 hours at the most. I checked in at 1130 and my company pre checked me in. Just got called to pull in at 1845!

Got here around 1930 Sunday evening for a broken bolt, Eventually got pulled in at the beginning of the next shift, young fella comes out and ends up breaking the extractor in the crooked hole that was drilled, wasasked to wait till 0800 because that is when someone will be on for the next shift that can weld. No phone calls, eventually walk in at 1000, get told to pull back up to a door where I am Told that they won't be able to work on it any more.Huge waste of time and leaving it worse than it was found! I bet that work order will be getting scrapped!

No more stop on this ta shop charge for different problem what I bring my truck leak transmission oil cooler line they drain coolant brand new and refill new on and charge was only oil leak they fixed leak but the mechanic don't know what's he is doing will not call him mechanic because he is not he is shoemaker not recommended
