Terrible you think you get dealership work? Look at my pictures sloppy and dangerous.Everything that was wrong.1. Had my truck for over two weeks with no loaner vehicle.2. Terrible communication have to call multiple times to get answers.3. Did not standby multiple pick up dates.4. Received truck filthy after sitting under a tree for 2 1/2 weeks.5. After picking up and driving the truck realized that bolts were missing and not fully fastened to specs (see pictures below).UpdateJoe Mayhew the GM that responded to my review. He will not contact you back and if you try calling big star he is out and doesn t have a voice mail.

I originally went in to get my oil change which was very speedy. Upon return Victoria was my service person and spoke to me about an oil leak that that had found while the service team was doing the routine oil change. She advised that I should get it taken care of quickly considering it was under warranty. I explained my reservations based on my prior experience of not having my vehicle for months and how frustrated I was about the lack of communication with me and the other departments. She insured me that before I even brought in the vehicle she would make sure the parts and the technician was available to get it done in a timely manner. I also expressed if i was to be without a vehicle what would i drive, and with the proper approvals she was able to get me a loaner. This experience was 1000% better than my original experience with the service department at Big Star. At this point I have less reservations on their service and communication not only with me, but also with the other departments.

I went in for my first oil change of my Canyon. I was greeted by Dustin. He quickly got my info in order and explained the process. He kept me updated and also noted there was a recall on my vehicle that was taken care up quickly. Dustin is very conscientious along with a great attitude and appears to take pride of his job.

I received professional and friendly service. But. I have a complaint about my service. According to my invoice my fluids should have been topped off. But, I discovered they were not. I left a detailed message for the service manager Kendra Scott, I have not received a call back. Thanks.

Our advisor Tim, was not of much help. He was very dismissive to our problems. He told us it would take 4-5 days and it took 3.5 weeks. Every time I called to get an update he was either not available or leaving. Finally I told them if they did not let me speak to him I d go up to the dealership in person. To my surprise he answered in less than a minute. They kept my truck for 2.5 weeks before starting to work on it. Very unacceptable. They made it seem like they were doing us a favor since it was still under warranty. Yet I m paying extra monthly for it.

Terrible! The service department is terrible! We have been waiting about 2 months for a part. No one calls us back. The part is not in! The truck is not great either! We spent a lot of money for this truck! The sunroof had to be replaced and waiting forever for the side mirror to be replaced! I would not recommend this place nor a GMC!!!

Bought brand new Essence and the insurance to cover certain repairs, i.e. window replacement. First the car depreciated in value dramatically when we drove it off the lot. But the whole thing that has soured us on the dealer is the fact that they sell you the insurance but the service to have anything done is HORRIBLE. The window to the car was broken by some flying object in July of this year (2023). We notified the dealer to make the claim. That was not good enough, had to take it in (40 miles one way) for them to physically look at it (10 minutes max). Then was told it would take two weeks.................lets just say this is December and the window has still not been fixed. The first one came in and was broken, never was told this found out after we took the car in to have the window replaced and was informed, after it had been there all day, the seals around the window were warped and the window would have to be ordered again. We have never been communicate with about the issue, only when I call, then when I call I have to talk to "my advisor", glad he is not advising me on grand things in life. We recently traded the card in. Only had it since February of 2023, the window still broken! So service is not existent.

Great service as always from my favorite Service Advisor Victoria. Got me in and out of service with no issues! Thank you! That's why I do all my service at Big Star on my 2017 GMC 2500 HD Sierra Denali.

This has been a nightmare dealing with Big Star. I bought my vehicle in May and after them having it in service for a month, all of the things they were supposed to correct are still not done. I reached out to the sales manager last month to remind him, but he still has not gotten back to me. I guess at this point, they have gotten their money for the vehicle and don't care if they take care of the customer or not.

I went for an oil change and it was fine. The service was good. But then I tried to speak with someone in the finance department. But nobody was available since it was Saturday which is understandable. But for the past 3 weeks now I ve been calling and calling and calling to try and cancel gap insurance. I can t get nobody on the line and left multiple voicemails and can t get anyone to call me back either. Very frustrating.

I would have given 5 stars except I was told that my car was ready and when I showed up the next morning, the oil had not been changed. I tried my best to coordinate this service because my husband was scheduled for surgery, but when I could not pick my car up until later that really stressed me out!!!Services: Wheel alignment, Oil changeServices: Wheel alignment, Oil change

The dealership had my car for over a month. Picked up my car and within 24 hours all my dashboard lights were back on and now I have more issues than before it went to the shop. Great service department! So glad they changed ownership & employees! Victoria is the best! Tried several times with old group of service folks & several other things was repaired (a few that didn t need to be. Transmission was leaking on brand new 2023 duramax 2500 at4 took it to bug start gmc in Baytown since that's where I bought it and they said it was like a 2 week wait unit they could get to me and loaner cars were 4 weeks out .....and then they said if I keep on driving it and the Transmission locks up I am liable since I knew it was leaking.....well how in the hell am i supposed to get to work to make the payment on the $80,000 truck then a holes ???? Traded the new truck in with 18,000 miles and a leaking trany lost about 10 grand ....screw big star and GMC.....how's that for a review....

This place was a disappointment they had my car for 10 days and didn even fix the issue they made me change stuff I didn even need ended up paying 2400 dollars for my truck still having the check engine light on I took it again and supposedly the problem was fixed and it wasn t the light came back on in less than 30 min from pick up and they also puncture two slits in my seat and never called me back about it the manager has been aware and he is so rude and acts like he don t even care I asked for him to call back two times even left a msg and no call back this is the worse place don t take ur cars there they don t know what they are doing I would give zero stars I was supposed to take my car back but they just take ur money there and don t fix the problem

The service department sucks. They stole $4000 dollars from me. The manager said the finance company wanted $4000 dollars down and it was a lie. I drop my vehicle off on August 17,2023 to have my vehicle checked out because my air conditioner was not working. Had to take off work to bring my car back on two separate occasions for the same problem the manager in the mechanic shop was very rude and did not take out the time to figure out what was going on with my car not even on the second time. Had to come back on the third occasion after I got in contact with a supervisor that s not even in the department..Service: Electrical
