I did not have a good experience with this shop . I was extremely overcharged for the parts and service not the mention he started the repairs without notifying me beforehand . After 1000$ dollars and getting my car back the issue was not only not fixed but actually much louder and much worse..the son of the owner told me it was safe to drive as I travel for work and I was out of money so couldn t have more work done to it. After a two hour drive the transmission started to show signs of significant damage and when I called him he was being short and seemed annoyed and stated that it wasn t his fault but that he had already been looking for a transmission for my car . Leaving me to believe that be purposely hadn t told me it was the transmission that needed fixing from the beginning. He did repairs for the engine mounts and told me the parts were 300 which was untrue and couldn t show me receipts and almost 700$ for labor! I believe he knew the transmission was going bad and made unnecessary repairs to basically scam me out of more money. After the 1000$ Repair I couldn t afford a transmission which cost me my job. To be clear I believe the the actual owner of this shop is very honest and that he doesn t conduct business the was his son did with me. Also the car started leaking coolant and oil which I believe was from the transmission which it never leaked fluids before. And when I looked for the cause of the coolant leak It was poorly fixed with some sort of silicone which also wasn t like that before. Take your car somewhere else

Nice people, friendly, do not go here for a transmission. Go to a real transmission shop.

After taking my Nissan to a few places that said they could not fix my car, I was referred to Medina's by a co worker here in Baytown. The technicians fixed my vehicle right away and are very knowledgeable mechanics. I give Medina's 5 stars for their service.*****

I ve been going here for years and this is the only place I will take my vehicle. This is the first honest mechanic I ve dealt with. He fixes what needs fixed and doesn t try to talk you into a bunch of service that isn t needed. This a very great family owned business. They are so cheap on their labor price but do a wonderful job on your vehicles. They will not tell you something is wrong unless it really is. I've been using them for years and I'm never disappointed. I recommend them to anyone!

This is a very good family run mechanic shop. I have been using them for years and they have always been very kind courteous and have very fair prices compared to any other shop I've ever been to. This is an excellent place to take your car to. From basic maintenance to larger issues, they have you covered and for cheap! My family and I have been talking all of our cars here for routine oil changes and its always a pleasure! Do yourself a favor and come here to get your vehicle right.

The staff is very nice and give you plenty of explanations about your car and what they do. Moreover, they well encourage you to buy your own car pieces so that you make sure you are indeed paying the best possible prices and purchasing the best items for your own situation. Many times you can get refunds back when purchasing car parts.Now, my issue was an oil leak. They charged me about $650 to repair it, but my car was found out to be dripping when I took it to oil change. They must've done something for sure since my car ran almost 3000 miles all fine and when I sold the car the dealership acknowledged other service they've done for me. A lot of the ~$650 fee was in labor, just like other works I had them do because their explanations sometimes also involve suggesting additional works.Thus, I wouldn't call them cheap. But you must watch out for all other mechanic shops in Baytown, most of their reviews look suspicious, a problem that has been spreading a lot over time. If going farther is a problem for you Medina's may still be the best option.

Great place with fair prices. Meineke's minimum price is $55 for half an hour. These guys helped me fix a small suspension issue ( took 15 minutes) and charged me $10.They do everything! He was doing an engine rebuild on an Audi S4, head gasket on a Honda Prelude and a couple more cars in process.Fair, honest and fast!

I really do recommend this place. They're very honest people who will work hard and fast to bring you the best solution, thinking about your pockets. The problem to my car was so simple, under $50. They did it while they worked on other cars too. Had me in and out in an hour or so. Go here!!

These guys are so good and honest and reasonably priced, I almost hate to put up a review because I want to keep them a secret but that would not be the right thing to do. My Dad - Frank, always said you have to be quick to complain but equally quick to praise and Medina's is worthy of serious praise, they (Ricardo and Jr and the other guy whose name I forget and Olga too) are top notch in terms of pricing, technical competence and honesty and a pleasure to deal with. I have had some serious engine work (timing kit) and suspension work and some window regulator/motor work done here all for very reasonable price. You can bring your own parts and they will install or you can ask them to get the parts. Highly recommended.- Mike (2005 Ford Mustang GT)

They only charge if the part solves the problem and the cost of labor and testing is very reasonably priced. They called with updates and information consistently and made me feel very comfortable. They also told me when the repairs wasnt worth the expense.

I don't normally do reviews unless very very satisfied . Tried this place according to ther reviews and was not disappointed at all. I spoke to three different people all were very nice professional. Best of all my Truck was fixed fast and very reasonably priced. Found myself a new mechanic here in Baytown. Thank you

Fixed my car issue. Badly put a deep indention of a hole on my SUV threw auto parts in there making more inside . food also found in passenger front. Heard them talking about me. I this business needs to know fix cars not mess up and be liars by hiding dirt on my gold vehicle as if I wouldn't know.

I took my Ford f150 truck to this shop to have my electrical issues (computer) taken take of and they had my truck for a month giving me the run around. Worse place in Baytown for electrical issues. I had my truck towed to Ford dealership it took 2 days to fix same price....

Guys were quick. In and out in 45 min. And the problem was fixed properly.
