As a single woman I ve had so many mechanics in the past overcharge me for things they supposedly repaired. These mechanics have been proven to be knowledgeable, trustworthy and considerate. They re also extremely professional. And the sweet office personnel lady (Kim) is the sweetest. There are no surprise charges. In the end. Thank you from a satisfied customer

This is the best place ever to bring your vehicle for service.. they are honest and have really reasonable prices.. they are not trying to sell you parts that you don t need to fix your vehicle!! Meineke on Decker Drive is a Ripoff for service and parts that are not needed Garbs Automotive is my new service center for my truck Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

They installed my headers put a bung in the 02 sensor hole due to the old one wasn t coming out the old manifold so when I come back with the new 02 sensor. They can t get it out and wanted to charge me to completely relocate the O2 sensor whenever it was their mistake not mine and I have warranty for a year on all the labor still wanted to charge me $130. Will not be going here anymore.Service: Exhaust

This muffler shop in Baytown, Texas does good muffler work and they also do mechanic work as well the guyJamir is very helpful and polite also very knowledgeable and honest. I highly recommend them whit any of my family vehicles

Reading other reviews and some word of mouth I went.I went in to the shop to get an estimate on Wednesday morning. He checked prices and availability. Was told parts to be there Thursday afternoon. So set up app for Friday. Was told the price for parts and labor, after calling other shops he was lower not the lowest but lower. Took the truck in Friday morning and got it out Friday evening. This thing sounds great from stock to dual exhaust is a big difference. clean work super friendly people all around good experience. I will recommend these people to anybody that needs exhaust work done. Oh and by the way they do still bend pipe there. I watched him try to get around my spare.

Once again I had a good experience with Garbs Muffler Shop.They installed a full exhaust on an older truck for me and did an outstanding job.I would recommend this shop to anyone needing quality work done and will use them again. They are just good people to do business with.Service: Exhaust

Very nice and kind owner and receptionist as well as workers. They are very busy so I had to schedule a week ahead of time but when I arrived they were waiting for me and got me right in. They were able to replace my catalytic converter within and few hours and it was priced around what I expected. Great place.

Over the past few years Garbs have done custom exhaust work for me on three different trucks...and every time they have performed high quality work at a very reasonable price. I wouldn t take any of my vehicles anywhere else but here. Great people and great service.

Specifically told them I needed universal over the phone, and that I wanted to change BOTH converters. The exact words in the quote was, "for BOTH universals the y pipe has to be dropped, we will cut and replace BOTH so it would be $320". I get there to have this done and instantly recommended the more expensive route for the direct fit $480 parts, $140 labor. I explained I only want the universal so now in person the price was double for universal. Good try, but I'm down the road getting them both done for $280.

Garbs helped my sister out when her catalytic converter was stolen. They welded a new one for her and was very reasonable. Thank you for taking care of her

Went in for a quote for a dual exit axle back exhaust, had my own exhaust tips just needed their tubing and labor and was quoted a price. Then went back a week later with all the exhaust tubing required for the job, all i needed was for them to weld it up and mount it and was quoted a way higher price than last time... I don't get it? Using less of their materials will cost me more? Thanks but no thanks! Took my business else where!

I'm giving 4 stars because the actual owner is really sweet... The new manager Jerry needs customer service skills but the team behind him is actually good.. Cameron and jamer make up for the manager Jerry being a rude man...

I needed my muffler welded back to the exhaust after the weld broke. End of day quitting time, they took care of the issue with no fuss. I will definitely give them my business in the future

Apparently this muffler shop doesn't bend pipe anymore. It's a craft that not many people know how to do. The guy that would do all the bending is no longer working here. Therefore Garbs now orders all the exhaust parts pre bent. That takes time to order, ship, and receive. My three star rating doesn't determine their quality of work. They perform great and get the job done. But it does determine the time it takes to get it done. Overall good place for exhaust work if your not in a rush.

Called in advance to see if this establishment would sell me a piece of pipe. Surprisingly they said yes. I went there and they're just as friendly in person as they were on the phone. They were polite and very courteous. Just based off of the service I received from them I would recommend them. They are home town and I say shop local!

My daughter took her car there for a new muffler and we were a little late but they took us on in. Made us comfortable and we're very polite and was very fair priced. Will go back if ever need to.

Being honest the people here are super nice and seem to know what they're talking about but my issue is this. I went in to get a simple oil change, we started talking and I asked if they fixed acs'. They said they didnt but they could look at it and at least tell me what's wrong. He didnt say anything about charging me but when I went to check out he charged me 72 dollars. He said it was 30 for looking at my ac and tell me what I already knew... it doesn't work. I paid it but I don't agree with the practice. You made it seem like you was doing something for me but that was not the case. Could have just said its 30 bucks to look at it. Then when I asked about it he made it seem like I was broke. His exact words were "well if I knew you only had 40 dollars....." yet I was paying with a card how you know how much money I have lol smh

Got a front end alignment from Jerry, and he was very nice. He explained what he had to do (because my vehicle was being difficult) and why he had to do it. I will definitely be back!
