I went to this store one month ago, cause my car showed high engine temperature,stop safely , they did diagnostic then asked for $264 for adding coolant and bleeding procedures. I am not sure if they performed the bleeding procedure, because when I check the invoice, it only stated: adding antifreeze and received payment which is $206 , I can t find anything regarding the bleeding procedure on the invoice, so if they didn t do the procedure ,which means I paid $206 only for adding coolant. And at the same time, I called my dealer how much it s gonna be for adding coolant and bleeding procedure, they told me less than $200. But which really make me desperate is the day before yesterday,my car showed high engine temperature again, so I drove my car to the store , they checked and asked for$900 for the water pump repair. I asked them why they didn t found the real issue one month ago, as every body know, the manager s answer is : one month ago, there is no issue with the water pump , it just happened recently To be honest, I feel really upset, I feel like someone is lying to me, and it s just because I don t speak English very well ? I would never come back to this store!

brought my truck in to have the struts replaced Gilbert told me no issue they get them replaced the following Monday. Brought the truck in Monday and Gilbert said it would cost 890.00 and he would finish it that day. They contacted me later in the day and said they had found several other issues. One upper control arm and wheel hub with bearing needed replaced. 1800.00 and they would finish that day.Gilbert called later that day and said he could not replace the sturts and they had finished the other repair. Cost 900.00 to replace the following.1. Passenger Control arm upper2. Drivers side wheel bearing.Cost 900.00The original (2) front struts were not replaced and Gilbert said was a specialty items and would cost 1800.00 for two struts.Bottom Line is these people don't have a clue what there doing and are con artist. When I first brought the the truck to Gilbert he said no problem ordered the wrong parts then proceeded to try and find other things wrong.I'm a mechanic and the only reason I did not do the work myself is I'm older and cant work on larger things anymore.But I brought the truck to my shop and pulled the wheels to inspect.1. They did not install my rain shields. Missing Both2. They did not replace either strut3. The dragging on the driver side was not a wheel bearing it was the brake and calipers. The support arm that holds the calipers were frozen open and causing the brakes to drag.4. Replace support arms and brake pads.5. Replace rotor on driver side.These guy are con artist and crooks.I would not recommend them to anyone.

I needed an inspection. Went to the place on Garth by Schlotzsky s and they were stupid busy, no one was at the desk to even check in people, and it smelled like gasoline. I don t think it s a reflection of the employees, just not a pleasant experience. So After 10 min, I left. I turned down baker and saw this place across from robsons that I never noticed before. I walked in, the waiting area is big and nice. Someone is dedicated to the desk, I asked how long it would take and she said 5-10 minutes. I handed my keys over and a mechanic stood up and took care of it. Amazing.

I brought my 2015 Odyssey with a very loud rattling sound coming from the engine bay thinking that I'll need to spend a $1000+ on repairs, but they just reset my car's computer and reprogramed all the modules and surely enough, the sound was completely gone!Moe was very patient with me listening to all my concerns even though he was busy with other customers.I highly recommend this place if you want an honest mechanic.Side Note: I just read most of the 1 star reviews and I'm shocked at how ridiculous those reviews are! You can just read them yourself and be the judge.Service: Auto maintenance

Had to have two hoses replaced and they charged me 1000. I asked twice for a itiomized list so we could try and make sense of it but Gilbert just said I was a "damsel in distress" an to be grateful he didn't charge me more.. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place.

Quick state inspection! I called ahead, spoke with the manager and he said they weren't very busy around 12:45PM when I called. Didn't have a long wait time. Had a 10 minute wait due to another inspection in progress before me. Once the technician started with my car, I was out the door and back on the road in 8 minutes. 10 minutes later I was able to renew my registration on the Texas DMV site since my registration was lost in the mail. Thank you Express Lube!

These guys are awesome!! They worked on my Audi Q7 and saved me a bunch of money by not having to take it to the dealership for the same work. Mo, the owner was exceptionally kind to go out of his way to make sure my car was back to me in great running condition even after they closed for the weekend. I was impressed that the mechanics stayed extra hours over so that I didn't have more days in my rental car as well. I recommend this place for sure! They're honest, reasonable prices, great work and wonderful customer service. In the future, I will definitely come back here. Mo even followed up with me a few weeks later to see how my car was doing, no one has ever done that before. Two thumbs up!!

I have been chasing a noise coming from my truck for over a year. I spent thousands of dollars at other mechanical shops. Mo the service manager and Bobby the mechanic did a amazing job and found out the problem in 15 minutes. They end up saving me more money because I was going trade my truck in. While I was there they also noticed my brakes was installed backwards from a previous shop. Mo even called me for a follow up to see how things is going. I am very grateful for them and definitely will let Express Lube do all my diagnostic from now on.

Professional and friendly, communicates very well with customers on what work is being done and why. Nissan dealership in Baytown tried to charge me $2,000 for a bunch of unnecessary work took car to Express Lube and they completed only the necessary work - that same day - for a fraction of dealership s charge. I highly recommend this ethical and professional shop.Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

I came here for an oil change, then inspection, and recently a tune-up on my Raptor. I am completely blown away with the managers and mechanics attention to detail and the willingness to go the extra mile to make sure your car has the best parts and the customer is satisfied with the work. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves their vehicles as much as I do and will be returning for all my future family automobile needs. Amazing work!!

Great environment and lovely workplace. The store manager mike was very knowledgeable and knows his stuff! Will be telling my friends and family about this place. The mechanics there are also very hard working and friendly as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone reading this and I wouldn t choose anywhere else.

I brought my 2009 Ford Fusion with 172K miles on it in today for some repairs. When I left it felt like I was driving a brand new car again!!! I first met with Chris several months prior and he gave me a quote for repairs. I finally had the time and money so I went back in for those repairs. They found other issues in addition to what they originally found. But Moe came to the rescue and gave me a good deal on the additional work. I can't thank this team enough for the great work they did. The work and customer service is too notch!!! They will have me as a lifetime customer for sure!!! Thanks again!!!

Excellent place to go for brake work. started having a grinding noise coming from back brakes and took it in to Express Lube on Baker due to perfect reviews here and on Yelp .Not too many customers ahead of me on a staurday at 10 am, so this place must still be a bit of a secret.The new manager, Dewayne is a friendly hands-on type manager. He raised my car and removed the tires/ inspected brake pads and rotors all the way around while his mechanic was busy with other projects. Dewayne then found me in the waiting room and took me into the shop area to point out and discuss the issues..Four bad brake pads and rotors as well as one wobbly tie rod end. We discussed options for repair and he quoted an exact out the door price before commencing repairs. I felt like he offered a good and fair deal. The agreed upon repairs would take awhile, so Dewayne was courteous enough to ask if there was somewhere I needed to be taken. I declined, opting to wait in the spacious lobby. Impressed by his professionalism and willingness to step in and assist with the work load when the mechanic was occupied.The receptionist, Kelsey, was also very friendly and easy to talk to. She went out to get estimates time-wise on repairs for myself and others without being asked or prompted in any way. Very professional and personable Didn't meet the mechanic, but he seemed a hard-working fellow. Excellence all the way around here. I found myself a new favorite place to go for car service/repair in this area. Thanks Express Lube!

My 2012 Altima was completely turning off while I was driving and after talking to friends I was expecting to pay a hefty price to get a new crankshaft. After bringing my car here I was pleasantly surprised that it was not my crankshaft and in fact just bad cables connected to my battery and my car was not getting enough Voltage.Very happy I brought my car here as it was fixed in less than a hour and instead of just agreeing it was the crankshaft and taking my money, they told me the truth and fixed it for much less. I'm always weary of mechanics finding other stuff wrong and trying to make more money so I'm very happy I found a honest shop that didn't take advantage of my ignorance.I highly recommend these guys. Moe is The most unprofessional businessman I have ever spoke to. I was looking at one of the cars he has for sale which is being sold for top dollar but was in bad condition. I tried talking to him about the issues but he quickly cut me off and said I was wrong. He yelled at me and my girlfriend in our face in front of other customers saying his bottom market car was perfect when it needed lots of work. If he gets his feelings hurt and yells at customers because they don t agree with him then I couldn t imagine wanting to have him service your car. Don t waste your time and find a more professional business to spend your hard earned money at. He owns multiple repair shops but can t even inspect his own car after it expired 2 years ago.

If I could give Express Lube and Inspection a rating of 0 stars, I definitely would. Auto was brought in at 9:00 AM and was told it would take 3-4 hours. Returned at 3:30 (6.5 hours later) to pick up and car was still parked in the same place! Had the service manager called saying it would take longer I could have understood, but the lack of communication made me re-think my options. Their inability to deliver "express" service was a whole day lost. If only the mechanic would have taken a look, ordered parts, I may have been on my way.It's ironic the good reviews influenced me to patronize Express Lube and Inspection, however, they FAILED and today's actions shows they haven't an ounce of business acumen.

I went here for an alignment and had a great experience for the second time in a row. I had previously been getting alignments from a different place and they were wearing out my tires badly within 20k miles. Here at express lube and inspection, the owners (Mo & Mod if I remember correctly) take the time to say hello and ask you about the issues you are having that way they can help get you back on the road in a timely manner. They are straight talkers, that don't try to give you extras you don't need, very honest and fair pricing for the services they perform. The mechanic I've talked with the last two times is Rey. He goes above and beyond to also make sure you're happy. After his initial inspection for worn out parts and initial alignment readings, he took the time to explain what was wrong with my current alignment and how he was going to adjust it to make it right. And after the adjustment, he takes it for a test drive to MAKE SURE it's right, even takes me along to make sure I'm happy with how it feels. I've been to several shops over the years but I'm very happy to call this one my favorite place to go.

They repaired the AC and Brakes well for $1500, but left the coolant reservoir cap loose. When the car over heated, the owner MO denied it even though only they had touched it. I requested the oil be changed, good thing I checked it as it was over filled.

Went here to only get brake pads changed and asked how much...the mechanic quoted me $235+tax. This was with me bringing my own brake pads and parts. $235+tax for labor on brake pad job!?!? Hell no... this job MAX takes 2 hours with basic hand tools at home. He tried to tell me on my rotors needed to be turned. Which is not entirely true. Yes it is recommended but if rotors have little to no wear...then not needed.Most places I called quoted me $60 - $115 to swap out my brake pads and all said rotors did not need to be turned.

Moe was very informational ..he explained everything that was wrong with my vehicle perfectly and the other mechanics very friendly especially ray..even the front desk assistant was friendly and professional..Moe made sure that the issues I had were corrected and done the right way..I know one thing is for sure it wasn't about the money it was about customer satisfactory..will definitely recommend anyone that has problems with their vehicle to come here!! And I will definitely come here if I ever have any other issues!! Thank you again MOE!!

I called to see is they could do an inspection in my 5th wheel camper. They said they can t because they don t have the room for it. This is a lie there parking lot is over 100 foot wide and well over 600 foot deep witch is plenty of room for it. I will never be doing business here again.

Took a our Chevy Colorado because it was shaking they found few broken items. They explained to us an showed us pictures of the broken motor mount an more! Excellent customer service the manager was very kind explained everything very well. I highly recommend Express Lube an Inspection!!!!!!

I have a 2016 Ford Escape that had a service engine light and a amber colored light every time I started the engine. I had my San Augustine Ford send me an email about this problem and named the codes that I researched. I found out that there is a sensor inline with the fuel and injector line that may be the problem. Baytown Ford had the sensor and I called Express Lube to see if they could be able to install this part. When I went to pick up the part the counterman said this was a common sensor and he sells a few of them. I researched and found out this should fix the problem instead of waiting 3 weeks to have Ford work on it. I took it to Moe @ Express Lube and he showed me that this sensor was common failure on his computer so I had his mechanic replace the sensor. I don't like paying Ford's prices if there is a good mechanic @ Express Lube to work on it. 2 hours and Moe said it was ready and so far the problem is solved. I only hope that this has permanently fixed the problem b/c I like the lil Ford Escape. I will be returning to Express Lube if I need more oil changes and service work.

Do NOT go to this place. They took 30 plus minute and charged me $25 which in my opinion should be illegal!!! Failed for tire tread on a virtually brand new vehicle.
