These guys are beautiful human beings.I didn't realize how horrible my warranty company until the people spent hours on the phone with them just trying to get them to cover what little they did.It was Christmas and I'm a disabled vet on a fixed income, a fact I never even told them. They went completely above and beyond to make sure my bill came as close to an affordable range as they could.I could make this post so much longer just singing their praises

Quoted my friend ridiculous price to get her 3rd gear fixed, got it done for half the price somewhere else. If you have the money I guess it s good but if you don t , you will find cheaper . They are money hungry people .

Great shop and great service. Will explain things well and not replace things that don t need to be replaced. Took a little longer than expected but if you want things done right it s worth the extra time. Thanks guys!

I dealt with mostly Keith. It was amazing to see a business run old school. Morals, ethics, straight forward. They are confident in their quality of work and price perfectly. I have had nightmare experiences with transmission shops. I had a close to catastrophic failure of my transmission. They have earned a loyal customer. I will have no issues sending people their way. About a year ago my transmission went out as I was getting ready for a vacation. I had my truck towed to Carls and the experience was amazing. They took great care of my truck and kept me up to date on all the details. A year later my truck was in another shop getting some work done when the mechanic informed me of a possible issue with the transmission. I contacted carls to see if my warranty was still good. It had expired the day prior. However the guys at Carls told me to bring it on in and they would take care of it. Well they did, i brought my truck in and they troubleshot the system. It ended up being a very minor fix, but I am so greatful to Steve and Jose for taking the time and fixing the issue even though my warranty had just expired. They Are Honest and they have been in business for a long time.Had my truck towed in after a big fluid leak. They could have sold me a complete rebuild because I thought it had been badly damaged.They did a diagnostic check, test drive and pulled the pan for inspection.After adding a few quarts of trans fluid they told me the transmission was fine.I expected to pay up to $4000, they charged about $300 total.

Pretty fair and upfront about the price. Fixed my truck the right way with no issues or hidden cost. Even offered an optional transmission oil change and little cost to me.

I had an issue with the transmission in my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. Truck was towed to Carl s and they did a great job on the repair. They kept me informed about what was going on with my truck and the repair was done in a timely matter. Highly recommend Carl s Transmissions. This place was recommended by a local shop once I found out I had a transmission leak and I described how my car was not driving like normal.I had been to like two other local automotive shops that could not tell me what was wrong. They would look at me like I was crazy when I said my check engine light did not come on but I know my car. I have been driving it for 5 years. I took it in to get an estimate.Carl's was able to tell me in 15 minutes what was wrong and how much it would cost. I was relieved to hear that it was something that could be easily fixed. They did not charge outrageous labor fees like most shops. They were laid back, friendly, and had great customer service. I hope my car holds up but I was impressed on the professional customer service alone.

Needed some help finishing an S10 project and these guys were more than willing and capable and helpful in every way. Definitely help get my project moving. Super friendly and super fair price will definitely come to them for any transmission needs in the future

Absolutely superb customer service!! Great shop to deal with, and very good pricing and service. If you break down in the Bay Town area give them a call and Talk to Keith, he will take great care of you and get you back on the road quickly.

They are the best. They quoted me a price to fix my transmission, but when I went to pick up my vehicle, the cost of the repair was lower than what they had quoted because the part ended up being cheaper than they thought. How many shops will do that?

Keith and the folks at Carl's are Top Notch! Honest, fair, and just great people. Rebuilt my 700r4 and it runs like a champ! Would highly recommend them to anyone with transmission needs.

thousands of dollars I'm hoping it's good service. wasn't planning on it taking so long. inconvenient without a car. I really needed my car back TODAY, but it's going to be another day so they can test drive it. :(

My son took his truck A2001 dodge and the installed a transmission after a few months it was having issues the jumped right on it and took care of the matter ...Great place and great service ...Very friendly and knowledgeable guys Bring all your transmission needs here !!!

Good honest work. While some people complain about the price that's just about the way it goes with transmission work and it's been no secret. I don't mine paying as long as I get good service.

My Honda had an electrical code and a shift-shock problem. I took it to Carl's garage. They diagnosed it in a reasonable period of time, but said it would need to have the transmission rebuilt. They said the price would be about 3000$.I had had a rebuild with Aamco on 1002 Uvalde Rd in the past for 2300$ +300$ for a torque converter. So I took it to them and told them about the electrical code. They said electrical problems were the cause of 60% of transmission problems on imports, and were able to diagnose and repair it for 200$ in 3 days.While both shops were polite, and both diagnosed for free, I think that Car'ls Transmission made a disappointing mistake that could have cost me 2800$. I recommend Aamco instead.
