Was advised to bring our truck in today from someone in service and that they would see if they had a loaner while we drove there. We arrived and the service director greeted us with the WORST attitude I ve ever received by someone who works in customer service. She was off the wall rude and defensive. We literally did what they told us to do and she acted as if we had an issue the moment we walked in the door. When I asked to speak to someone higher she stated she was the director of service . So I asked to speak to someone else. She told me twice to sit down after I told her I was fine I would stand and wait. I don t understand why we were given such awful customer service. We didn t give any attitude walking in. We had no reason to. We just were requesting a loaner so because our truck had water leaking inside it and it wasn t due to owner error. That service women needs to be replaced. Then she had the audacity to mock me when she walked back in front of her coworkers. Laughing and talking under her breath as if we couldn t see her. Proud of how she just treated customers. If you buy a vehicle here take it somewhere else for service! I am baffled how we were treated today.

Baytown Ford is an awesome dealership. Our salesman was very good. They made purchasing a new vehicle absolutely painless. They gave us a very good deal on our trade. They gave us a very good rate and incentives on the new vehicle is the first time I ve ever bought a new vehicle And it went smooth thanks again, Baytown Ford we will be back !!

Good luck getting in touch with the finance manager Robert I called and left several messages, no call back so I showed up and he left me waiting to apeak to him for nearly an hour. The sweet receptionist for someone else to help me. All this happened after my vehicle messed up after TWO weeks of buying it.

Did not have a good experience with my 2 service trips over several days to fix 5 recalls on my 2021 F-150 (or I should say 4 recalls, since it appears 1 was not performed). Nor did I have a good experience with their follow-up calls wanting to know why I had submitted a poor review. I felt like no one really wanted to listen to what the problems are. I will go to a different dealer in the future. If the *OWNER* of Baytown Ford is interested, I will be glad to talk with him/her. He/she can find my phone number in their service records. Had service done to my truck there. Not all services were complete on first trip there. Service department did attempt to make up for it and we worked the issue out. Finally got everything completed on second trip to service department. Once I completed survey I got a call from a someone in the service department that wasn t to happy with my survey and talked over me and wouldn t let me talk. I already worked the solution to the matter with the service member but she had to call and pretty much tell me my voice made no difference. Would not recommend service department due to certain individuals. Techs did awesome work on my truck.Update you want me to call the same delearship that the service department member called me from to comment about what she done. Wow. Can we rate lower than 1 star?

Attempted to discuss a car purchase via email TWICE earlier in the week. Both times was told: we ll get back to you shortly. Never heard back.Decided to come in person. Arrived around 1:00 pm on a Tuesday and checked in with the front desk. Waited approximately 20 minutes in the lobby before being greeted by any sales representative. Knew the exact car we wanted to test drive and purchase when we walked in.We admit to be focused and determined negotiators, but we didn t leave the dealership until 7:30 pm.We were literally onsite for 6.5 hours.We don t know what was such a priority over us, but they couldn t wait to leave us sitting alone. The feeling was that they just didn t want to work with us, so they wanted to waste as much of our time as possible.The sales representative would leave us sitting for sometimes up to a full hour before coming back to check on us.Literally no other customers in the dealership.At one point, they greeted another customer and worked with them at another desk for an hour while we sat next door waiting for some sort of update.It just doesn t make sense what and why so much time went by, unless they thought they were just going to wear us down.Our rep admitted that she deal a lot online and through her Facebook page; and their attention really seemed more focused on that. But for reference when we walked out to test drive a 2024 Expedition, we were told this one has the 2.3L engine in it and it s so cool that it tells you when people in the back seat don t have on their seatbelts . They don t put a 2.3L in a truck that can tow 9,000 lbs . Just an example of a rep having no clue as to the vehicle they are trying to sell; as we asked several questions about the car during test drive and were told: Um, I m not sure. We had gotten our trade-in appraised earlier in the day by a sister company of theirs at EchoPark (they are both part of the Sonic Automotive family) and the appraisal process took less than 20 minutes before we had our cash offer. However, at Baytown Ford, it took at least 1.5 hours for them to come back to us with their offer after looking over our trade.I even saw on the sale rep s phone/computer the exact amount they offered as soon as they walked back to their desk and entered my cars info into her computer, but we got some story about waiting for 3 offers from their buyers and call center to get the most competitive price . Thankfully they matched our initial offer from EchoPark without haggle, but there s absolutely no reason it took so long.When we started working with a manager or sales guy from F&I; who I assumed was meant to be a Closer. He came over and shook our hand with an open cut bleeding above his thumb. He mentioned it after shaking our hands, but my wife had to point out to me that I needed to wash the blood off my hand; so odd That individual worked with us in tandem with the original rep for the remaining 3.5 to 4 hours and never put a bandage on .We identified a minor issue with the vehicle that service could have quickly addressed, but they failed to notify service in time and by the time the deal was done Service was closed and we are forced to bring it back.From Texas s DMV website: It is simple and free to transfer your license plates to your new vehicle. The TxDMV encourages you to transfer your plates because it protects you.You may transfer your plates:To a vehicle purchased from a dealer: Remove the plates and request that the dealer transfer the plates to the new vehicle. We said We want to transfer our plates to our new purchase. First said it couldn t be done. Then we can only transfer handicap plates. Then they said we ll take a picture and send it to the state for them to decide if they will allow the transfer.Very little faith that our old plates will transfer.It was too long a process and such an annoyance to feel so neglected.Eventually we were able to come to an agreement and buy the car at our preferred price; we just left exhausted and starving .Cannot recommend.

Great buying experience. We worked with Gaven, and he was excellent from start to finish. This is our second purchase from Baytown Ford, and I highly recommend shopping for a new vehicle at this dealership. We love our new Ford Bronco!

If I could give 0 stars I would.Absolutely horrendous! Do not buy from Baytown Ford, do not do business with Baytown Ford, do not use the service center from Baytown Ford.72 Days my truck was with them in the service center. Under warranty (whatever the "platinum" warranty means....that's what I paid for, and still received awful service).1. Lied to many times2. Dead battery picking it up (not their concern of course, that's not under warranty). Even though it was just fine dropping it off. Literally had to have somebody come jump the truck in front of the service center.3. Tried to charge me anyway for something that was never discussed.4. Didn't get a loaner vehicle until day 48!5. Car reeked upon picking up (they did offer for me to bring it back in for cleaning after I sent emails to Sonic (parent company) and Corporate Ford). Three days after I picked it up. I declined; no need to bring it back to them.Of course after the complaints, I was still given the run around upon addressing my complaints. Supervisor defended everything except the car smell.STAY FAR AWAY FROM BAYTOWN FORD!

I hate buying a new vehicle BUT today at Baytown Ford was an awesome experience. The guys we worked with were great. Instead of spending hours haggling over prices we all came up with prices we could agree on very quickly. They listened to US on what we were looking for and what we wanted. I had a great experience with the service center at Baytown Ford. I specifically dealt with Abraham. He was communicative, diagnosed my car sooner than expected, took care of filling the warranty claim, ordered parts quickly and my car was ready sooner than expected! When I picked it up they had changed the oil, replaced the broken part, and it seemed cleaner than it was when I left it! Amazed and happy!

I had agreed to a certain interest rate and amount of truck. Turns out Gelmer raised my apr after we had agreed to interest rate. My down payment was added to principal as well. So principal went from 49,500 to 56,000. Didn t notice until I had already signed paperwork. Called to ask what I could do and Gelmer told me I already signed paperwork so I can t do anything about it. I would advice anyone making a purchase here to make sure you check over all paperwork before signing anything.

They hated the first review I gave them so much they called both me and my wife asking me to retract the review. Sorry Baytown Ford. When you are dishonest and try to hide things in contracts and only agree to take it off once you have been caught and the customer is walking out then there is a problem. From my conversations with them, the problem is the store management.

A house full of liars. Told my wife the $3200.00 warranty was required. Called 3 other Ford dealerships to verify and they said we were being lied to. Thanks Baytown Ford. Gelmer was a great salesman, efficiently worked a good deal with me. Should be 5 stars. However, the free detail given by the detail crew was not good. Puddles of cleaner in the rubber mats, scratches i hadnt noticed before in the paint, and they stole my mister carwash unlimited sticker So if i were you, buy from this dealer, ask for gelmer but opt out of the detail.

Around 2013 my husband and I purchased a used 2002 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition and still to this day (July 2018) have never had any problems out of that vehicle. We had a great buying experience with Baytown Ford back then so, when we decided to purchase a 2018 Ford Explorer in May 2018, Baytown Ford was our first choice. I did have salesmen from other dealerships contacting me to come and purchase from them but, we felt that based on our previous experience and how happy we were, we would choose Baytown Ford first. I m glad we did! My husband was at work that day so, I went alone to test drive and decide what we wanted to purchase. The salesman I worked with is named Christian. He was very kind, considerate, professional, and knowledgeable. Often, as a woman, salesmen will use high pressure tactics and often speak to a woman in a condescending manner but, that was not the case with Christian. Another reason we chose Baytown Ford is because it is conveniently located near our home so, I don t have to drive some long distance just to have maintenance done. We received a great deal and are very pleased with our decision. I definitely would recommend Baytown Ford for your next purchase. Please read my 2020 update below! **UPDATE FOR 2020** February 2020:Baytown Ford has been really awesome to us as customers. We purchased a new truck for my husband! Our sales associate this time was KENRICK GRIFFITH and I must give him so many accolades! He s a very kind associate and will absolutely go to bat for his clientele. The truck we wanted (2019 Ford Ranger Lariat 4x4) was the only one left on the lot that my husband had spent months researching. If you look at the photos you will notice the one he chose has a chrome grill instead of black. He got the total package! Ford is using Bang and Olufsen sound systems and they are great! I simply told Kenrick what I was looking for and he found it right away. His ability to build relationships with customers is outstanding!! He s an asset to Baytown Ford.
