Phenomenal service! I was in a real jam and needed new tires before heading on a 2,000 mile journey cross country. Alan and crew bailed me out by staying late and putting on a new set of rear tires. They did some welding to fix a couple support brackets to ensure the truck would make it home in one piece as well. Blown away by their patience and quality of work. Highlight of my trip and gave me the confidence to drive cross country in a new vehicle. I give them the strongest recommendation possible!

I went over the AR&W to get a quick fix done. These guys went over and above what most shops do. The prices are good and the staff is extremely friendly. I would highly recommend these guys if you need some work done. Very trustworthy.

Was lied to... lied to.. and lied to. They said they would have it wrapped up in a day or two. They didn't pull it in till the next week. Instead of working on my truck they were busy servicing all their local accounts. I spent 2 weeks there in a hotel trying to get a couple fuel lines fixed.. maybe an afternoon woth of labor. The man was nice enough he knows how to tell you what you want to. His wife runs the show. He tries his damdest to clean up her messes and lies. Don't let them lie to you. Go elsewhere.

I cannot remember the last time I wrote a review. I feel you should not write a review for getting the service for which you are paying. However, I believe AR&W went above and beyond to get us back on the road. Theses folks are all the mechanics you will need when in Houston.We were traveling from Louisiana back to Arizona after our snowbird season was cut short due to me being hospitalized with covid pneumonia. Our diesel pusher RV overheated in Houston and the owners Nancy and Allen jumped in to helps us. Allen, and their best mechanic Mason discovered a problem in our engine. Luckily, we were able to find a new part.Nancy and Allen have two mechanic shops plus a 24/7 emergency roadside service. They are always busy. However, they squeezed us in on their schedule and Allen personally went on the test drive with me which took over an hour. In addition, they followed up with us after we left to see how we were doing. The work was doing properly and the rates were fair. In addition, I did not have to wait 3-4 weeks for spot on a schedule.We have had to use other mechanics throughout the country. However, I have never been moved to write a review until now.

I only gave a one star rating because I had to! Let me save the rest of you lots of time, energy, and even more $$$. Do not make the same mistake I did in trusting this owner and shop to conduct Business in a fair and ethical way!I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN INVOICE OF TIME & SERVICES AND I HAVE ASKED EVERY DAY FOR 6 DAYS!!! BUT THEY SURE DID TAKE MY CREDIT CARD! My driver said it was 5 minutes...They charged me $400 for saying I had an AC leak, but they could not find it! WHAT A JOKE! Then Nancy tells me they have the best AC mechanic around!???? REALLY?I own several trucks and went to them because they have a big contract with who I lease my trucks on with... needless to say if they screwed me as they did, they are probably doing this up the food chain!!My regular mechanic could not believe what they did, but had heard that before about them....wow.Again, save your precious resources and take your truck to someone you trust, because it is not these people, sadly. I tried speaking with the owner about my concerns, which was met with hostility and total arrogance. She could have retained my business as a happy customer with a few simple customer service lessons in humility, patience and just plain DOING THE RIGHT THING.Nancy Waddell, quit giving yourself a 5 star rating! See what I mean? Do the right thing!

Highly Highly recommend, excellent mechanics, service, very reasonably priced, and got my truck in quick. They went above and beyond to get my truck fixed. Will definitely use them again. My husband and I broke down on the highway in Lake Charles Louisiana in our semi, we needed to be towed off the highway into Texas. We called AR&W although they were closed, Nancy politely gave us the access code to their locked gate so we had a place to park. I recommend this company not only are they Great people they were extremely professional and friendly. I want to thank you again Nancy for everything including letting us park our trailer on your property until we got our truck figured out...Thank you Mr and Mrs Christopher R.

Stop by Friday had trailer lights issues met the owner he told me to drop trailer he would check it out. Couple hours latershe call and said he hooked my trailer to his truck and said all the lights work. Told me to bring truck by Monday and he would check my plug on truck.Got by there Monday morning owner wasn't there another employer call him so the guy checked everything and found out it was a fuse replaced fuse and said you good I asked how much he said don't worry about it. Great shop to stop at for truck or trailer repair.Service: Electrical

The mechanic was very nice and a professional. But the general manager tried to bump me up on the price. Over the estimate. When i told him not to do some of the work because of it. He gave me a greedy dirty look. The lady in the office charged me for an hour of lador to much. And charged me for everything she could think of. Even for a bolt. She took so long to fill out the bill. I almost didn't care. I needed to get out of there.i got the impression that if she could. She would even charge me to use the restroom. I don't recommend this place!!!

Not very knowledgeable with DPF if you're having issues with your DPF system avoid this place at all costs even though they advertise it they were not able to pinpoint the problem just kept providing generic codes. The lady in service tried to sell us a warranty and advised any work being done would not be warrantied unless we paid extra for the warranty. When asked what their opinion was the tech recommended the truck be taken to another shop that had the right software because at this point he had no idea what is wrong with the truck and advised that with all the new parts we've put on he is not sure what else needed to be done but the owner recommended that the filter be replaced along with dosing valve and the def tank (BEFORE DOING ANY DIAGNOSTICS), which we've already taken care of the filters and recommending the dosing valve or def tank to be replaced when no diag was done is pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Use these guys at your own risk, you will get price gouged.

My husband's air bags went out on his 40 ft. trailer. He called me in GA, of course and ask that I find a location, quick...so he could get home....sooo, I Googled these guys and low and behold they were there to make all of our/husband's worries go away. The service was impeccable. The guys were able to immediately diagnose the probelm and fix it right away. My husband was back on the road in no time. It was an easy fix and cost less than what we thought. Thank you guys for a job well, done .

Warning drivers. You should avoid this place. I came here today to an APU issue which they say they can fix it. After couple hours they call me and say they replace little hose which they told was the problem. I started the issue was still there, I asked what did you fix? He say you have go Thermo king for computer diagnostic. I said ok! But he told me to pay $559 !!!Labor $300, parts (the hose) $239 plus... I shocked and asked him can you explain to me I m calling a cop he replied! Asked him why? I m calling a cop he replied. The cops show up and told to pay him i didn t refuse nothing with him I told the cop, but he didn t fix the problem the cop replied go and sue them I never experienced such a people like this even! What a dumb!Finally I decide to warn the others to don t fell this trap.

Place is horrible. Dishonest , crooks would be soft approach to describe this shop. My Hub broke on the freeway of i-10. I came to them with hoping to get in and out. They tell me " we about to close" ... its 4pm!!.they close at 6. Richard the manager says " we cant get parts till monday " , i tell the guy i really gotta be home anything we can do ? No help from them , i get on phone , I dropped my trailer, flew 70-80 mph to next town over. Found the hub assembly , flew as fast as i could to make it back before 6. I show up 6:12 . Hub assembly takes 20 min to grease and put back on for any experienced trailer or truck shop. He wanted $180 labor $+31 for shop supplies ( greese) + tax. I argued with him asking hey look be fair its a 20 min fix , ill pay you one hour shop time. He said " nope after 6 its time and half . Plus i want $45 for looking at it and taking cap off when you left for parts. " i mean really ? Give a honest days wage for a honest pay. It took you two seconds to take cap off , your were too lazy to even call look for parts. i did that myself. When i agreed to pay $180 shop time. I told him ok when you finish with hub in 20 min i want you to spend the full hour doing something else on my trailer. He declined. Said pay me $45 for 30 mins of BS and have somebody else fix it. no problem took trailer to Loves truck stop. A kind older man helped me. Gave me greese refused to charge me . Lent me some tools. Told me what to do and i fixed it myself. ( they were busy for next 3 hours) So i did it myself Easy job. God bless people like that. What goes around comes around. He seen i was desperate and low on cash and needed to get home. How do you jusitfy charging 45 even for taking 2 min ? You shoulda spent 28 more min checking my pressure and greese in other wheels or something. Lazy ____ks. Rip off! Drive to Loves they will treat ya fair.

Very honest and fair. Came out late in the afternoon, and stayed until my rig was fixed. Didn't price gouge or try to sell me things I didn't need. I appreciate their services. I fully recommend them.

Great Shop! Best labor rates in the Houston area hands down!! They got me on the road in two days on a four day job. Easy in and out.

I just called it to get service my truck has stopped engine and check engine light he says $125 to come out which is perfectly fine and then he says $150 to hook up the laptop which is perfectly fine also and then he says it s $125 per hour minimum of three hours that threw me off right there it s a rip off man

Stop here to have forced regen done on my volvo but fault codes would not allow it, I was not charged even though they check over my truck for an hour or more very nice people the owner even stepped in to help i dont know about other people experiences but I appreciate thoughtful people. Would i do business with this company again yes I would.Service: Electrical

This place seemed to be a good shop especially since the company i work for uses them so as a OO i deci to let the fox an air leak i had. We ll needless to say $280 later and almost 5 hrs it was finished i knew exa where the leak was so all i need was the quick connect replaced if i hadnt left my tools in my pickup I d done it myself they charged me $75 for a $15 part saying it was a parts run so then 2hrs of labor for something i had already diagnosed and pointed it out to the mechanic I WILL NEVER USE THE PPL ever again the lady in the office was rude i didnt say anything but i was shocked to see a $75 part run and 2hrs for a quick connect located just off the air tank like she said oh you can talk to the shop manager look I m already in a hurry after 5hrs of waiting i jist paid and left DO NOT USE THESE PPL

This place is an thief and they will ripped you off on labor hours. These folks charged me 16hrs just to moved my hydra pack from the side and to the back of my cab $1300 just in labor and that $1300 doesn't include parts so beware on the labor hike. They want give you an estimated price on the job only because they going to ripped you off when the job is done and their is nothing you can do about it but pay the bill.

Came in late and the mechanic stayed late and finished the job. He was very knowledgeable and professional and the shop was pet friendly. Stay away from this place!!! they are totally a rip off . My truck got there Friday they told me ordering the part from cheapest place around here the part they ordered was 1000$ more expensive then peterbilt then they added 400$ mark up to it . Took almost 5 days for them to get the part peterbiltHad 3 Available in Houston 25 miles away for 1340$ they charged me 2599.00 just for part top of that 8%tax plus Additional 5% to pay on credit card.

Can never fix problem first visit. Always have to bring back and they refuse to warranty their work. Total waste of time and money to go here! Too bad because they are close to my house.

If I could give no stars I would. They came out to look at RV axels. Can not fix it, don't know what's wrong with it, doesn't have a clue. But charged $285 service call. I was told on the phone $150 service call. Under the rv maybe 5 mins and got no answers. Bad business. Never would I call them again or recommend them to anyone

Had to have d rings weld to front of 3 experience blade trailer work was top notch and done on time . staff was very friendly
