Ed and his wife Martha are very sweet people. Ed did a great job, finished in one day and was very reasonable. We enjoyed the company of their beautiful white and gray long-haired cat named "Fatty" while we waited for Enterprise to pick us up.

So after spending $1100 at a dishonest repair shop in Tampa, my daughters 2012 Jeep Patriot had the same issues, revving ok in park and neutral but almost dying when put into gear. Was told it needed transmission service for $300 and a new throttle body for $800. Having some faith, I okayed the repairs, made payment over the phone via my credit card and hoped for the best.My daughter picked up the car and it was the same. I then drove to Tampa, rented a uhaul and brought the car to Kelly and Bob at Coastal Automotive. They are fair, honest and have never to my knowledge mislead anyone! If they don't know the issue, they admit that and ask how you's like to move forward.They diagnosed my daughters car as having several faulty electronic transmission sensors. And although they don't make these kinds of repairs there, Kelly took the time to look up transmission repair shops and found an AAmco transmission repair shop in Vencie, gave me the contact info, advised me on what to tell them after diagnosing the issue, and best of all, charged me a very fair price for all their time and effort.Sad to say they are dying breed in the automotive repair world when everyone seems to be a parts changer rather than a diagnostic tech.I highly highly recommend you go see Kelly and Bob if you have any, and I mean any kind of automotive issue! I would give them 10 starts if I could...:-) get it...starts...not stars...lolService: Transmission

I was having transmission problems and gave a detailed report of those problems. They were backed up and scheduled me to bring the car in the following week only to receive a call shortly after dropping it off, to tell me they don't do transmissions. When I voiced my frustrations over having waited a week specifically for transmission issues...I was hung up on, by the office manager/owner. I called back and attempted to arrange for their tow services to get me to the shop they recommended and was flat out told they would not tow me. I will absolutely not be back!!

AC & Heating issues can be costly. Thinking that we were going to have to pay and arm and a leg to get our heater working properly on our 2015 Ford Expedition. Turns out that we needed coolant in order for our heater to work. Took the vehicle in at 8 am and had it out by 3pm that same day and paid WAY under what we thought it would be. Thank you Mr. Cantu for being honest, courteous and professional! Highly recommend!Service: A/C installation & repair

I called them and they showed up timely. The guy who unlocked my car did an excellent job it was a hard job to get into my car and he didnt give up.

I broke down in Bay City visiting family and was planning on only being in town for a couple of days. They get me fixed up and on the road without having to alter my plans. And the price for the repair they did was very reasonable. If I lived in Bay City, I would use them!

Car overheated. They had it for a week and told me it was fixed and safe to drive. Two days later car overheated again...this time cracking the engine block. They claimed it was not their fault and had the nerve to charge me for a second tow

From DFW area on vacation in Matagorda, alternator went out on my wife s Toyota rav. Fixed it very fast, just parts and 1hour labor. Would have towed me there if I needed it. Wish this place was closer to home.

Best place in Bay City Tx for automotive services and repair. Very reasonable prices , extremely honest, great customer service, and it never changes. I've been there many times and they are consistent with professionalism.

Went for an alignment they looked at my tire ,found it was bad & new ones should fix it. It did, any time i have any trouble they have my business. TRUST THEM
