These guys were amazing! It's nice to know we still have honest people in the world. I was told from a previous shop that I needed a whole new AC blower, but this shop said otherwise. They didn't try to hustle me or give me the runaround. Iwill continue to give this place my business if I ever have car issues. Thank you!

Review readers: Expect a litany of excuses from the owner - as he makes them with all his negative reviews.Sept 2023 Update: MORE issues introduced by this shop. The neutral safety switch harness was routed incorrectly and the 4-wheel drive shaft. Harness is now worn through, photos attached.I sure did bring a vehicle to you - and spent over ~$11,000 at NFS Bastrop. You not only couldn't figure out what was causing the issues with transmission limp mode (even after calling an "expert" in to assist you). You then blanketly recommended I replace the transmission, and as it turned out, that didn't fix the problem - though you initially claimed it did. I fixed that problem by bringing you the old computer, as I had told you for months the issue smelled of a software/computer issue. As soon as the computer was re-installed the transmission limp mode was fixed - through my diagnosis, not yours. That cost me $5,000.Additionally, you failed to repair the "death wobble" and only replaced tie rod, drag link and steering stabilizer. What actually fixed the issue was replacing the ball joints and a new track bar. You also "fixed" several oil leaks. I've attached pictures of the oil pan leaks you "fixed." The leaks began after less than 1,000 miles. These faulty repairs cost me an addition $3,800.You also repaired my exhaust manifolds - I'd love to post a video of the exhaust leaks that are still present, most likely due to a faulty gasket.The only thing you fixed that has not needed re-repair is the upper intake manifold and tie rods.There were other issues too: Dent and deep scratch on my hood near the driver's side hinge, broken ECU connectors, scratches on the hood from laying the hood directly on the front window frame (a shop rag would have prevented that), air leaks from under the console due to sealing of the console after the transmission work.Shoddy work all the way around - and I actually hate to make this post because your team was quite friendly during this extended time (1 year). But at the end of the day, the work was faulty and you cost me an enormous amount of money on repairs that didn't need to be made at the time.Total additional cost I've made to fix NFS work: $8,800. Sept 2023 additional cost update: $9,500.

I called and scheduled an appointment to drop my truck off in the am. Got my wife to call today and confirm just for the guy to not even know what she was talking about. Pretty sure if you can't run a schedule, it's probably to difficult for you to run a business. I'll be sure to let all my co workers know where not to go. Thanks for reading

I found some used Flowmaster super 10's that I wanted put on my 2014 ram. I went in to get an estimate to remove the existing muffler and weld on the two used mufflers. It was going to be a simple job. Price was less than half of what other places charge. Then I mention I wanted to go ahead and remove the resonators and he said $60 more, really fair price as other places charge and arm and a leg. I was finally able to find time to get it done. They gave me a time frame it would take to complete the work and they finished in the time I was told. Well, after realizing that removing the existing muffler and welding on two more mufflers was not what was best, they decided to do a true dual exhaust system, which means each muffler would have its own pipe and muffler from the headers to the exhaust tip. True dual exhaust systems are very expensive. It was to my surprise that they actually didn't upcharge me a penny and honored the price I was quoted. You can't find service like that now a days. This place deserves 10 stars!!! Update, recently took my brother car to do custom dual tips on his exhaust.

This shop is the best hands down.I have taken my 98 dodge to them a few times. Went in for an alignment, and they had me done wicked fast... once it was my turn, of course. Now my truck drives straight and true after leveling it and adding 31s. And they were not expensive at all. Thanks yall.

Went in needing a savior, and man, did this shop come through in a big way! Had my jeep shipped out to me, and thought it was going to cost me a fortune to fix! The guys are professional, courteous, and most of all HONEST!!!!Did an amazing job, did it quickly, and saved me a PILE of money!!!! Awesome shop, awesome people, highly recommend!!!!

I needed a new catalytic converter installed in an older Ford Escape. I like to do my own repairs, but due to the position of this one being right up against the firewall, I decided it was beyond my driveway mechanic abilities. The estimate from Bijan was fair compared to other shops in the area. They were able to complete the job on time, and their communication about the status of my vehicle was great. I didn t have any issues and the work looks great.

WOW! Can t say enough good things about the service we received from the super nice guy that checked our car in, to the nice man that did the service. It s really nice to know there are still knowledgeable hard working men that actually will listen to a woman to understand the cars problem. They found the eaten wire, replaced it and charged a small amount for the service. Took less than 3 hours. Amazing service!! Really appreciated it!Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair

Dang man I really liked this place never had a problem until today my only issue was with the mechanics. They wouldn't admit there mistake that they broke a small clip off my mud flap! I would have just let it go since it was only a clip that fell off but they just wouldn't just say that it happened, like a mistake it happens! I have a cdl so the first thing to do is check the car and it wasn't like that before I dropped it off! They weren't accountable for something so small where is the customer serviceService: Brakes

Awful! They messed up my son's vehicle. He took it in early morning so they could get it repaired by closing. Not so! We ended up making 4 wasted trips. 2 there and 2 back home. Good 35 minute drive each. Their top notch guy left them awhile back, so I guess they're struggling now because of it. Sure hate to see it. Sad!!

I recently had my vehicle service here. I had multiple check engine lights with two bad catalytic converters with bad sensors and plugs. They were able to diagnose everything and explain it to me. My State inspection was due this month and passed. I took my 09 Pilot in for an alignment and tire rotation. Bijan called sooner than I thought, which was great, that the car was done. I asked about the tire rotation and he said they checked and the tires were good and didn t need to be rotated at this time. This was great not paying for something not needed. My guess is that when I take my car in and he says it needs work,,,it probably does. Also I know he ll take the time to explain why it s necessary and at a fair price. Going here is one of the best decisions I ve made as far as auto repair. I ve posted several times about how awesome this place is and will continue to do so. Thanks Bijan, I ll be bringing my truck in in a couple of weeks for an alignment also,,,,see you then and thanks a lot,,,,,,,Dave

This place is a joke! I had to take my vehicle several times to get a job done that should of gotten done right the first time! I'm no exhaust expert, but they know probably as much as I do. I ended up paying more than I needed to. Due to them not paying attention and the owner wanted to charge me for their mistake! Take your car els where and save yourself the money and hassle!

They were prompt and thorough in their care of my car. We knew going in what was going to be needed. Their price was better than another facility. They completed the work on the same day even though we didn't get it to the shop until after lunch. We have used them for another vehicle too. I would have given them 5 stars, but their inability to answer their phone that day, meant we had to drive over to the shop to see them. Otherwise, keep up the good work. We will use them again. Thanks!

Had a stack made for a dozer. We ran into some problems with it but these guys made it right and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend coming here for any work that needs to be done.

Took my Jeep Liberty in to have a Catalytic Converter Theft Deterrent device installed. Quick work at a fair price. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the gentleman who installed the device for me but he went above and beyond by checking the device website for clearer install instructions. He even welded some exhaust clamps to add an extra layer of protection. He also tested the alarm that came with the device multiple times. I'm very happy with the service and results. Thanks!

Always driven by never stopped in until I was researching to replace exhaust system on my truck. Most online cat back systems in SS and around 1k$. Need for Speed replaced my exhaust to my spec with aluminized piping (dual) my choice of muffler(super 44) and rolled SS tips for under 470$. Their exhaust tech has 14 years of experience and custom fit to my truck, he is definitely very skilled and did outstanding work just a little over an hour to complete. Owner and staff are great with customer needs and very knowledgeable in their profession

Went in with my old pickup. Had them check to see if I needed a new muffler. They took truck inspected it and said that I didn't need a muffler. It was fine. I had gone to another shop they tried to sell me new muffler that I didn't need. These guys are an HONEST SHOP. THANK YOU. they also have a clean waiting area or you can sit outside. There is a corner gas station across the street that have sodas and snacks. Main Street is just a short walk away. Highly recommend these folks!

We were broken down on a road trip and desperately needed the repairs done the same day. Even though they were planning on leaving early that day they jumped in there and got the job done. I can't stress how important it is to me that they took care of us like that. And when the bill came I was pleasantly surprised. It was less than I had expected by a lot. Excellent quality work done by people with integrity and hustle. If you need work done in this area of Texas look no further than Need For Speed!!

Had my sons f150 towed back in February for a short with the wiring causing it to blow the ignition coil fuse. After almost 6 months and them arguing about that it was the pcm and then trying 3 pcms it was still acting the same. Then they decided after all this time my son has been out of his vehicle and between 600 and 700 dollars out of pocket they through up their hands and decided they couldn t figure out the problem. And basically sorry for our bad luck and decided to keep money paid minus $117 with will be spent trying to get it towed somewhere else. So beware of going there they will keep your money if they fix it or not.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic
