We were traveling through town while visiting friends and noticed a vibration in the front end of our Subaru Forester. Our friend recommended Bobby s, so we went by first thing in the morning. They were super friendly and able to work us into their schedule for the day, even though they were obviously busy. They did a great job of repairing the car (a bad control arm), and getting us back on the road. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend them or to use them again. Great service, friendly people, fair prices.

Best mechanic shop ever! I've used them for the last few years, and every time, they have been able to do repairs with a quick turnaround. They have great customer service and have been honest and affordable with each experience. I highly recommend them for your next vehicle repair!

Easily a 5 star rating. They came highly recommend by the AAA tow truck driver. Paul assured me they could diagnose my Mercedes electrical (and they did), and did not try to overcharge me. There was a slight problem with my alignment upon pick up in which Paul took care of immediately. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Thanks Bobby's Automotive

I moved to Austin a few years ago and after getting the run around by several mechanic shops and being mistreated I now drive an hour to get my car serviced by Bobby s Auto Repair shop. He cut the repair costs that the other mechanic shops were charging literally in half.I m so thankful for Bobby, Paul and his team. Truly for the people and I cannot recommend them enough!

Incredible service! I found this place when my car broke down on the side of US-71 from Houston to Austin. I had to make an emergency visit and fully expected to walk out after spending a pretty penny but after their expert mechanics figured out the issue which required minimal yet immediate attention, they humbly declined payment and sent me on my way. This place is a gem with five star mechanics at your service

Their service and customer service is always exceptional. They are outstanding! I won t take my vehicle anywhere else. They re honest, trustworthy and fair. My kids are just a few years away from driving and having cars of their own and I know they ll be in good hands at Bobby s and so will you! I can t recommend them enough! Wonderful local business!

Been going here since I was 16 and easily the best and most honest mechanic shop I have ever been to. Always a fair price I really don t know how they do it so cheap. Every time I drop off my truck it s usually ready to get picked up the day of. Definitely would recommend!

I have been going to Bobby's since 2015, shortly after I moved to Bastrop. They were recommended by a friend and once I started going there, I never let anyone else work on my cars. They are trustworthy and you never get any run around. When one of my daughters took her car to a dealership in another town, they said she needed over $3400 worth of work to repair. It didn't pass the smell test. I called Bobby's, told them what we were told and they said it didn't seem right. I got the car, brought it to Bobby's, and less than $400 later we were good to go. They do all my regular preventive maintenance and any needed corrective maintenance.I had a problem with my brakes one time and they repaired it. The brakes were doing something strange a few months later, which I didn't think was related. They test drove the car after I explained what it was doing. When they walked in, they said it was a problem with parts they replaced and it would be fully covered under their warranty. No questions, no hassle...... honest service.I will not take my car anywhere else unless it dies on the road when I am nowhere near Bastrop.

I am SO impressed by the work done at Bobby s Automotive. I was having issues with my car and took it to another local mechanic and they tried charging me for a bunch of unneeded work that totaled to over $6,000. After talking to some neighbors, they recommended we take it to Bobby s for a second opinion. I am so happy we did. I ended up only having to pay a little over $600 for the work needed to fix my car. I will never use any other mechanic in Bastrop!! These are some honest folks who aren t going to scam you out of money. The customer service here is amazing. Thank y all so much for the great work!

Twice, Bobby's could have charged me hundreds in repairs didn't need, and I'd never have known the difference. Just yesterday, my high pressure oil pump was leaking profusely. Rather than replace the pump for hundreds in labor costs alone, they simply replaced a faulty o-ring for $100 in parts and labor. Not the first time, they've turned down expensive repairs I didn't need, to save me money.If you need an honest, high quality mechanic, look no further. I cannot recommend them more highly. SIMPLY SUPERB!

I took my daughters Honda to Bobby s to get the air conditioner running after she received a quote from a shop in Kyle Texas for $1800. Paul said that he could do the same work for $1200 but then called me back later and said the necessary work was only $365. Highly recommend these guys. Challenging to find an honest mechanic sometimes.

I had a wonderful experience visiting Bobby's shop. Prior to my visit, the mechanics at Auto Zone had informed me that my car needed a new alternator, which left me feeling concerned as a visitor to Austin. However, Bobby and his team of skilled mechanics put my worries to rest. They assured me that my car was in good condition and even promised to provide assistance if any issues arose in the future. The service I received at Bobby's shop was exceptional, and I would confidently rate it a perfect 10 out of 10.

I have gone to Bobby's Automotive for well over a decade. Paul has always been great to deal with. They have always done great work and are reasonably priced. Hopefully, I'll continue to go there for a couple more decades.

My husband took his vehicle up there twice. Once to see why it was overheating and was told it was due to the radiator cap not being securely on . They replaced it . We got it out the shop and drove to round rock where it started overheating again and would not start. We had it towed back to Bobby's and was told it was the starter and valve covers.They charge us 900 dollars. We got the car out and drove it to Sunny's in Cedar Creek where it stopped again. We called them they said "" oh it's probably your battery because we had to jump it off couple of times" with out telling us before we drove off the lot. We decided to get the car towed to Redline and they told us we had to replace the starter and we had a blown head gasket. This is going to cost us about 9 grand. Do not waste your time or money. They just want your money.!!!

I got quoted $2839 for an evaporator and AC condensor at another local Bastrop shop. I took it to Bobbys and presented the quote to Paul and not only did he beat the price, he came in at $1200. I cannot believe it, rare to find honest and trustworthy mechanics nowadays. If you have a written quote from another shop, take it to Bobbys and see just how much he can save you. Couldnt be happier!!

Bobby's Automotive, along with Deputy Davis and Freedom Towing, turned, what started out to be a horrible day, into an experience that I have to compliment them for.My vehicle completely died in the middle of nowhere 60 miles from my destination at 6:30 in the morning. Bobby's staff was incredibly helpful and patient, even though they were super busy. Got me back on the road fast after showing me a few things under the hood for future repairs. Fast, effeicient, and professional. I needed a new tire mounted and balanced. Bobby's Automotive had resolved my issue within 10 minutes or less. They didn't make me wait. After a diagnosis at Auto Zone, the employee recommended Bobby s Auto to replace my thermostat. Bobby s was fast, friendly and only charged me $160 for parts and labor! It s reassuring to know that I know have a trusted mechanic in Bastrop whenever I need one. Thanks Bobby!

I received exceptional service at this shop. My car broke down late at night while I was driving through Bastrop. I called this shop and they were able to squeeze me in first thing in the morning. They did everything they could to get me back on the road, but it ended up being a more significant issue than I expected. I ended up having my car towed to the dealership for them to do the repair under warranty. The people at Bobby's Automotive were kind enough to store my car for 1 week while I made arrangements, and they did the handoff to the tow truck driver so I did not have to drive back 100+ miles.I could not be more pleased with their level of service and professionalism. Their prices are fair and their customer service was top notch. Thank you!
