The team at Blue Mule Garage are the absolute best, most kind, and amazing people! I was in from out of town and had unexpected car trouble. I found them online and they took such amazing care of my Jeep (and me, by extension)! They were thorough, efficient, and now my car runs beautifully. I cannot say enough good things about them!

All of the people at Blue Mule are nice, friendly and excited to help. The price was reasonable for all the work they did. My old truck is back to his best life and he got a bath too. Can t say enough good things about these guys and gals as well.

I am in the area working from out of town and found myself in need of my routine oil change. I chose Blue Mule Garage based on location and their wonderful reviews. I was not disappointed. From the initial phone call inquiring about an appointment, to the prompt scheduling for the next day that would fit into my work schedule to the friendly and professional vibe of everyone there, I was more than happy with my experience. I would definitely be using them for any future automotive issues while I m in the Bastrop in Austin areaI found myself in need of Blue Mule s services again for an unexpected issue. I can t tell you how much I appreciate this shop and their wonderful business approach. My vehicle was picked up, diagnosed (honestly) and repaired in no time. They even picked me up when I returned the rental car when that business was less than accommodating.Kudos to this establishment! Blue Mule Garage is by far the best experience with car repairs I ve ever had!

Part 1. I don't even think they have enough room on this page to describe the awesomeness of this garage. The best, the most informative, and knowledgeable crew I've dealt with at any mechanics garage I've ever been to. They are thorough and honest. I know, you never hear that anymore. The best secret in Bastrop..Blue mule garage. Have my vote for the best auto repair, and the best crew this side of the Mississippi . If you have any issues with your vehicle. These guys are where you want to be.. Thank you guys for all of your hard work and Courtesy.Btw. I had the AFM delete dod installed, with a complete overhaul. Very in depth and they took it on, no prob. Great truck again!Part 2. So, I brought my wife's Hyundai in for a one over, because the exhaust area was kind of rattling on acceleration, and my wife didn't like it. So instead of taking it to dealership, I have the utmost trust in my crew at blue mule and they didn't let me down. The honesty is unmatched along with the service. They could've taken advantage of me, but they didn't, instead they were honest enough to tell Me they don't do exhaust replacement or repairs, but recommended another shop here in Bastrop to take care of it.Thank you again guys.Part 3. They fixed our 3rd car with ease, as a mouse had chewed through the fuel injection wires. Fixed, no problems, and the car runs better than it did when we purchased it. Thank you againAnd again.You guys are on my xmas list. Thanks

I called this morning to get my air conditioner serviced and they got me right in. They also fixed a vacuum hose (free) that was not hooked up, installed new headlights for me and they changed my oil. The oil filter that was on the car was the wrong one and they showed it to me- the mechanic in La Grange definitely did me no favors when he changed my oil last time. My tires were very under-inflated and they fixed that. I had been getting terrible gas mileage with all these things wrong with the car. I obviously know nothing about cars and am so glad I found these good people to help maintain my elderly car. And all for a fair price! Thank you all at Blue Mule!

These guys are the best, I was ready to find a new mechanic and they got me in immediately and were very helpful over the phone. James was able to fix my car's electrical problem right away and took the time to check a few more things on my vehicle I needed help with. Their prices were very reasonable and I'm more than happy with the quality of service, I'll definitely be back. There's a reason they have so many good reviews.

To say I am beyond grateful and pleased with the quality of work and the exceptional customer service I receive from Blue Mule is an understatement. I showed up for my appointment and they took my Cadillac right in, fixed my wheel bearing, pointed out that a tire weight was missing after I just had them rotated and balanced at another local tire shop.If I could give 100 stars I would. Thank you again for taking such good care of me and my vehicle!!!

These guys are the real deal. They squeezed me in on a busy day. Did an amazing job recharging my old cars ac. They went above and beyond testing it and making sure it was done correctly. It blows ice cold air again and at a very fair price! . GO TO THESE GUYS! You won t be sorry!

I was traveling across the country in my Class B motorhome when the brakes gave out.Blue Mule Garage got me in so fast and back on the road in no time!They do free diagnostics which is incredible!They installed new brake pads, replaced the rotor and bearings.They also noticed my ball joints were shot.They took their time to show me where the issues where.Very trustworthy people!Gave a fair price for everything.They did a great job with everything and the van drove like a charm afterwards!I really loved hanging out with them.It was a bummer that I had to do repairs but I'm so glad it all happened in Bastrop so that I found Blue Mule Garage.They really are fantastic!!!Anyone that lives in Bastrop is lucky to have them!!

These guys are awesome! Friendly folks, fair and honest with their work. I wouldn t take my vehicles anywhere else! So nice to have a shop like this nearby so I don t have to take my cars to shady mechanics or (God forbid) the stealership.

Original quote was $1800 for fuel pump. Once they put the vehicle on the lift they noticed the connector was fried. Their honesty is of a stellar magnitude. I recommend them to everyone and do not trust anyone else with my vehicles!!

Friendly people,great prices transparency when explaining how your charged. They keep you updated on when your parts are arriving and status of repair. They completed my repair 4 days early. Car runs like new. Blue Mule!

Wanted to give a shout out to this company. They were very helpful with both my car that had an engine problem, as well as my sister's car that had an Air conditioning issue. I was able to bring both vehicles in without an appointment. James is a great mechanic and is good at troubleshooting problems. Let's not forget about Michelle who is working the phones and getting the work orders straight. Highly recommend them! Thank you, Blue Mule Garage!

I took my pride and joy my 2015 F150 to blue mule for a valve cover gasket leak. And they ordered the gasket and it came in on a Tuesday and my truck was done The next day at $1500 less than the local Ford dealer ship, amazing service at an unbeatable price

I Brought my 2004 blazer here with an a/c issue and as my last hope I brought it here about ready to get rid of it because no one can figure out what's wrong with it or won't invest the time to help me.. and with 3 children and two of them being tiny and 1 of them being disabled I need a functional vehicle with ac...Well I found a place to forever call my auto shop. I'll forever be thankful for blue mule garage. They took the time to look at my blazer and found the issue and helped fix it. They didn't give up and definitely didn't over charge and didn't tell me to look somewhere else.AFTER 1 year of dealing with the weather especially summer/spring months we FINALLY have air conditioner again thanks to blue mule garage I will definitely be back for them to fix this blazer up for me as I know it still needs more work.So knowledgeable!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!Thank you everyone at blue mule garage!

Blue Mule was incredible! I was in town to purchase a vehicle, and took the vehicle to Blue Mule for a pre purchase inspection. The mechanics took so much time to walk through every part of the car, as well as show and explain different parts of my vehicle to me. They were very kind and accommodating on a Saturday afternoon since I traveled in from out of town. I wish I lived closer to use Blue Mule again!

I would recommend Blue Mule to anyone in a heartbeat! They are honest, fair and really want to make sure they give you the best service at the most reasonable price. You can tell the guys love their job and they get along well with each other. Michele was awesome and very easy to work with. She communicates well, too! Michelle has been so patient and wonderful. We brought our Sequoia to Blue Mule with engine problems and she gave us every option possible and was so patient while we decided what we wanted to do. She then helped us get our Tacoma front wheel bearing replaced. They were quick, great at communicating through phone calls and texts, and the work done on the truck was great. Blue Mule Garage was fantastic! I broke down on a Sunday morning 350 miles from home. I called them and made it to their shop and they were able to get the parts and get me back on the road in just a few hours! Their mechanic was extremely knowledgeable and professional. It was an all around pleasure to deal with their service. They turned a difficult situation into a fantastic outcome and on a Sunday afternoon no less! When you finally get out of Austin and move to the country life you expect certain things. Down home courtesy, honesty, quality workmanship and just good folks. Well if you are lucky enough to find Blue Mule you wont be disappointed. They treat you like family, they don't promise the world and not deliver. From my first visit I knew "this is my new mechanic" not only are they quick, but explain everything that is needed and even find ways to save you money and doing it all with a great attitude and exceptional customer service. Took our car to Blue Mule for some oil leak repairs and issues with the car not starting sometimes. It took awhile to figure out but they got it done. We appreciated them working us into their busy schedule. Good customer service and honest pricing! Blue Mule was great from start to finish. Had and Audi A3 that wasn t running due to engine/fuel pump issues. They helped organize from towing car to shop all the way till the end of flying in to pick up the car.Pictures were sent and videos of weird sounds and parts that needed to be replaced along with quotes. Any questions were answered either by phone or txt. Would highly recommend this company for any repairs.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection

*1/2/2023 updated review*Had a rear drum brake fail me New Years weekend. Have them a text, and car was replaced within the day. I don t usually leave reviews, but these guys are hands down best mechanics aroundIf you ve ever brought a car in for brake work, you know it usually not cheap. What stands out with Blue Mule is their honesty. They repaired the part and had my brakes up and running for 130$. If I brought this anywhere else, it would have been the same new drums, pads, 600$ cause you have to do both at once speech. The fact they didn t fluff the price, didn t over sell, and we re HONEST, is why I will never bring my car anywhere else.Hands down best mechanic I ve been to. I stopped in on a Sunday, Mother s Day as well, and they gave me a quick diagnosis. Got me in within the week and couldn t have been any easier. Their communication is top tier. Text you or call with prompt replies, open 7 days a week. Great family run business that I will be a life long customer of. Keep doing what your doing blue mule!Service: Brakes

I can highly recommend this place!My son took his 2020 Dodge Ram truck here and they were on point to diagnose and repair the weird brake, power steering fluid leaking issue. In a very short turn around time! The part was ordered, and fixed in a very timely matter!Family run business with professionals who apparently like what they do and do it very well! Friendly, respectful, honest and hard working!When I need something done to my auto, a dealer will not see my vehicle. Covert Chevrolet was a nightmare 18 months ago with a vehicle I took there for a recall. No answer to any questions, wanted it 2 days etc. On and on. Very Thankful for Blue Mule! (And no surprise cost like some dealers want to do!)
