Great service, quality work, and good price. We had work done on our transmission. Bastrop Auto Works got it done in a matter of days at a good price. The other guys could not even get us scheduled for weeks.If you want it done right, go to Rene at Bastrop Auto WorksService: Engine repair

It's hard to find an auto shop that you can trust. These guys do great, dependable work and are honest. They will not over sell you. To me, no higher compliment can be given to an auto mechanic shop!

Very reasonably priced and easy to deal with. They are quick to answer questions and explain things. I found out later when I heard back from 2 other shops that I called, I would have been charged me much more for the same exact work. Glad I picked them! Thanks Juan & Rene!

My father and friend has used Bastrop Auto Works on their vehicles and the work is always been high quality with professional communication and good service from all the employees. Their prices are fair and their work is done promptly. Thank you Bastrop Auto Works for having my dad and my friend with their vehicles. I would recommend everybody to Bastrop Auto Works.

Was very happy with Renee's shop. Had my 02 BMW blow a water pump and he got it done in a day at a reasonable price. Honest, and fair pricing also makes for a great mechanic!

I have been taking my 2 cars here for 8 yrs. Recently, my truck was pulling a code for a cylinder misfire. They has recently replaced this cylinder, so I took it back to them to check it out. Mind you, my truck was performing perfectly when I took it. I was simply wanting to make sure it was suitable to drive my kid in without the risk of stalling. They said it was a coil so I paid to have it replaced (although I would think that would have been replaced with the cylinder?). After I pay and try to leave, my truck wouldn't start. I told the mechanic and said I was frustrated since the truck was working fine when I brought it in, he started yelling at me- literally yelling at me in the parking lot saying that he was sick of people coming in and blaming him for things. He said it was a bad battery and lectured me about my dirty terminals. He jumped the truck by bypassing the battery via the solenoid which fried my stereo system. I was just happy to get out of there. The next day I replace the battery and it still won't start. I talked to the owner who told me to try jumping it again via the solenoid (which seems unprofessional/dangerous) to no avail, then have it towed to them and he would "help me out". They apparently fried my starter and they still had the audacity to charge me for the replacement. I feel taken advantage of and am beyond frustrated. My truck was working perfectly, then suddenly I am out all of this money for a coil, battery, starter, tow and stereo. As a female, I am constantly dealing with these kinds of issues. But I thought this place was different, especially considering that they so prominently display the Christian fish symbol on their signage. The whole situation was so frustrating, expensive and manipulative.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They got my car 2017 Camaro in ahead of time called me gave me a price and fixed the problem it was needing a update on transmission something to do with computer. Anyways it runs way better than before I'ma impressed and would definitely go back to them and anyone asking I would suggest Bastrop auto works thank you for fixing my car

My family and I have been bringing our cars to Bastrop Auto Works for many years. They are very knowledgeable and professional and caring folks. They do a good job at a fair price. And I trust them implicitly.

Extremely satisfied! Having just moved here we were unsure of where we could take my van that had suddenly started shifting & accelerating weird. Bastrop Auto Works had great reviews so we tried them and are very happy we did! They were honest, affordable and did an excellent job! Thank you Eli :-)

I was referred to Bastrop Auto Works by a friend and I m certainly glad I took his referral. If you re looking for an honest hard working and reliable mechanic then look no further. My grandfather owned and operated a traditional old school gas station with maintenance bays; something that doesn t really exist now. I remember him always being an honest hard working man who was well respected in the community. That s the same feeling I got from the good people at Bastrop Auto Works. Great service and hands down great work and for a great price. I highly recommend these guys!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very satisfied with service for my car. I like the fact that I told them I might need a tune up and was told everything looked fine and they checked with Nissan for their maintenance for a tune up and it was 105,000 miles which I have plenty to go. I appreciated honesty and being treated more than fair.

Again, dont go any place else. Had a wheel noise, bearing, they replaced one side and the noise was still there. Owner called and asked if I wanted to replace it anyway when he could of said it was bad. Honest shop and owner.

Everybody was very helpful and very friendly, answering any questions that I had. It's a little bit out of the way in but it was definitely a pleasant experience, and I would recommend if you are in the Cedar Creek, Del Valle or Garfield area to most definitely consider them when searching for your automotive needs.

These guys did a new transmission install on my old Ranger. It was q hard to find part. It took 3 weeks just to get the part in. The labor charge on it was reasonable. Nice guys.

As a woman I appreciate that they listen to you and treat you fairly. They fixed my Chevy truck and I plan on using them for future auto repairs because I feel they are honest and do a good job as mechanics.
