Called me a slur after introducing myself.I spoke to Andre about fixing an issue with my truck s suspension. After talking with him for a bit, he asks me to introduce myself, to which I do. He asks about my name and where my family is from. Upon me telling him, he, without hesitation, proceeds to call me a slur. I don t understand how you can disrespect your own customer like this, however I m not giving my business to anybody that can t give me basic respect, I m paying you, for God s sake.Furthermore, he quoted me for $300 for an hour and a half of work despite the fact that the sign inside clearly states $130 per hour. Even if he was rounding up, it still should ve been less.Don t give your business to these people.

I had my car worked on and they seemed great until I sent my son. They took advantage of him. They kept his car 2 1/2 days to diagnose something they wouldn t fix. Charged him $140 and then would not give us the car. The mechanic started yelling at me on my son because he wanted to explain why he couldn t fix it. We didn t want to hear it. Then left and walked the entire shop to come back and start yelling at us again. They didn t do any work and this is what they charged my son!! WARNING This place is all a scam. Please read the reviews and belive them. I did and still didn't belive the bad reviews. I brought in the vehicle with a busted heater hose. That was leaking water and over heating. I ( Told the establishment there that it was a borrowed vehicle. And that it had alot of other issues. But that I only needed that hose to be changed out).After a few days I get a call from them. Saying they don't want to work on the vehicle because it has other issues. So I said fin I'll go pick up the truck.To my surprise I get charged $68 for them telling me I had other issues on my truck.."NO Shi#.. I told you that from the beginning " long story short. I payd them $68 for them to tell me what I had told them.. you been warned I strongly don't recommend this place.

Conman, $189 dollars diagnostic to tell me transmission isn't shifting I need a new one. Can't tell me what's wrong with it I just need a new one.... " transmission won't shift need a new one." What's wrong with transmission "won't shift" Why won't it shift " something is broken inside". Well thank you Andre for charging me $189 to tell me what I already knew. I was told twice I had no balance once tow truck showed I had a balance. Owner is very combative, he hung up on me 3 times. Look at the replies to the reviews where a customer wasn't happy with the work. It's the customers fault.Mechanic, vehicle, good, great best, price, job, feel, business, familyThank you for your reply, and glad to see you have such extensive knowledge of my financial situation, travel and use of the truck (not sure how you would know since u never asked me)to make such great recommendations. Also I never cussed ur secretary, I did tell her I was headed that way after I was told I had no balance 3 times, then when the tow truck showed up I had a ballance. Here again I asked if you were able to tear it down diagnose problem, and rebuild u said yes, and then turn around and suggest a Jasper POS be put in the truck. Please note again in your reply how the customer is the one with the problem not Andre's. FYI the tow company stated you are known for this type of service,.

Andre's is a great business, mom and pop family-oriented feel to it. Very friendly, honest and incredibly dedicated to doing good business. Andre himself is just an all around pleasant, warm individual and I have thoroughly enjoyed doing business with him.Definitely recommend appointments since the shop is always bustling getting your cars fixed up and back on the road. Would definitely recommend.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD. My husband called in Friday morning with a simple repair that he needed for his Jeep. They said if we brought it in within the next hour, they could have it done that day. Several hours later when we dropped by to see if they were done, the woman in the office acted like we were annoying her and kept telling us they would call us when it was done. By the next morning, we still hadn t received a phone call, and they also never returned our calls. By noon we still hadn t heard from them, so we finally drove all the way in to their shop to find out the status on our repair. They hadn t even touched it yet and told us again, We ll call you when it s done. After a few more hours, we drove back in, and as soon we pulled up we saw a guy hurry and run over to pick up our part to work on it. A few minutes later, they called us into the office and gave us back the part and said they couldn t fix it because they had an emergency and had to leave. By this time, all the other shops in the area were closed for the weekend. There was no apology or even the feeling that they knew we were inconvenienced by them. Now my husband will have to take off work on Monday because his car didn t get fixed and they left us no time to take it elsewhere. This shop obviously doesn t need our business or care about its customers, and we ll be taking our work elsewhere from now on.

I had a blow out on my way back to Katy from Austin and stopped at the first place I came to. Andre and the guys immediately came out and assisted me. They got my car fixed and I was back on the road home in a timely manner. Andre and the guys were so nice and made me feel so welcome that I took a part time job in their office. They are the most honest automotive shop I've been to. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else from now on.

Between Andre and the receptionist we obtained great information! The receptionist was very kind and understanding and helped with all our questions and we spoke with the mechanics as well. We took our car in to have it rewired since Best Buy installed our new stereo incorrectly. The wiring was damaged and some electronics damaged during the initial instillation so he was not able to completely fix the problem, hopefully Best Buy will make good on its work and pay for a proper fix. But Andre was great and helped us all he could! Big thanks to the team over at Andre's!

My family has always gotten good service at Andre's. Recently Andre did an alignment on our car and it tracks so much better. Many of our neighbors use them as well. I can't imagine where some of these low reviews are coming from, that has not been my experience.

Just took my '01 Excursion with '07 F250 axles/suspension under it for the initial alignment. These guys figured it out and got it perfect the first time. Not easy to do on a project like this. They have a couple of guys in there that have 20+ years at the Ford dealers, a very good 6.0 technician, and Andre is very good with transmissions. He used to rebuild them at the Ford dealer. Very, very happy with my experience with these guys over the years, and I would not take my truck (or my cars) anywhere else.

I will give these guys three stars simply due to the owners lack of following instructions. I asked that they first, change a broken motor mount on my 2010 Z71, then go through the brakes completely. Well it turns out Mr. Andre ran into a complete overhaul on my brakes that he couldn't do the motor mount. After paying over $900 for my brake overhaul, I left Bastrop feeling shafted with no grease because I asked that they do the motor mount first period!

We are new in town and needed work done to our pickup. The a/c was blowing cold air on the driver's side and hot on the passenger's side and as the temp was over 100 degrees, it was very uncomfortable.We paid a little over $100 to have them look at it to give us an estimate of what was wrong. After letting us know what it would take to repair the truck, we were told it would take about 24 hours and to bring it in on Tuesday, which we did.After hearing nothing from them on Wednesday, we called and were told that there was a problem with the repair. We asked what the problem was and were told that none of the mechanics or Andre were there to answer the question.We called back on Thursday and were told the same. Friday we were told that they had begun the work on the truck but it wasn't finished. Saturday we were told that the mechanic was unable to come to work that day due to a family emergency.Monday, we decided to just go to the shop and skip the call. When we got there, they had just begun to work on the truck and we found out that they were putting friends of the owner in front of our repair so I had been without a vehicle for almost a week for no reason other than the owner had friends who were more important than my repair.If the dash had not been pulled out of the truck at this point, I would just have demanded the truck back and gone elsewhere, but with the dash out, we had to wait until the job was finished. We finally got the truck back late Wednesday. We were told that the mechanic had to take it and check to be sure that everything was done right and working properly. There were no parts needed, we were charged almost $500 on top of the money we spent to have it checked and the first time we took it out it was still not working properly. It is better, but there is still a significant difference between the driver's side and passenger's side with regards to the temperature. The volume of air was slightly better it seemed.We will not take it back to them to have it fixed properly as we have no idea how long they might have it should we leave it again and have no confidence that it will be any better a second time.I would not recommend Andre's Automotive to anyone and will not be back.

This is the only place Slim Bawb and I take our vehicles (3 of them). These guys always do a quality job even on very difficult repairs (our older jeep is a nightmare at times but we love it). Their pricing is reasonable and we trust them. We highly recommend Andre's! Lauren Pearce

-0 stars -This place is a complete JOKE. Got my vehicle towed there and after a week tried to quote me this RIDICULOUS BILL where they were quoting me 2x the price of the parts I needed. Parts they claimed were hard to find. And as if that wasn't good enough, they did additional damage to my vehicle and stole my battery. Not to mention I had paw prints in my backseat from where they obviously let one of their 3 stinky, sickly hounds in my vehicle. I got my vehicle towed to a different, clean, fresh shop and was driving again in 6 days and for 1/3 of "Andre's" quote.

Just called about a tire and the lady sharply cut me off and said they don't have any. If that's the case then take them off of tire shop results on Google search. I should mention the time they kept my car in the shop for 3 weeks on a engine head a few years ago also. I'm surprised they're still in business. That's astounding. However, with services like theirs, it won't be long before Austin swallows them up.

Went in for a rotor replacement and oil change and walked out with around a $900 bill for add ons that I didn't ask for. If you want someone to work on your car that says he knows everything about your Nissan when you drive a Toyota, then go here. They charged for 5.8 hrs of labor, had the car for 3 hrs, plus I had a 1.5 hr wait time even with an appointment. Oh and I now have to go to another shop because I have vibration at highway speeds - alignment?, tires balanced?, rotor installed improperly? WHO KNOWS!

After taking my unaligned vehicle to different automotive repair shops in the area, the job was never done correctly because the vehicles alignment was in such bad shape. Through the recommendation of a friend, I went to Andre's to get the alignment, and it was done in the same day with the care and effort that I paid for. If you want your vehicles done right, take it to Andre's. They'll get it done!

My car died today as I was driving down a devided highway. I slowed and turned into the drive for this shop. Pulled off to the side as to not block the business. Called a friend to bring me a gas can so I could get my car started. Was gone 15 min came back and was greated by a guy with a gun in his hand an an attitude. I would not recamend any of the places close to here. The first words out of my mouth where sir I'm sorry we are getting it out of here and that was returned with a gun and an attitude.
