I trust no other people to take care of my car. They are trustworthy and I never feel as a women that they are trying to get over on me. The only down fall is that they are busy and you always have to driop your vehicle off. It will never get looked at the same day since they are so busy but they always do great wirk. This is my forever shop. If they ever closed I wouldn't know what to do.

They are not honest people there. I went there for a second opinion on an oil leak and they kept me there for an hour just to pretend that it was taking that long while at the other mechanic shop it took them 3 MN to tell me what the problem was and never ask me for a pennie. Then when they realized that I was not going to have them fixe it right away and there, he said that i had to pay 45 dollars. Then after complaining about them not letting me know up front about that charge, he lowered it to 30 dollars. They are money hungry, their prices are way too hight and the owner is very fake always pretending to be a man of God, but that is just a facade as he is the biggest thief and lier. I would not recommend this place at all.

I don t recommend this place at all because it's overpriced. I felt a rip-off in front of my face. They don t care about the customer. All they want is the MONEY. When we die, nobody will have even a dollar in our pockets. They will overcharge you so make sure everything is explained in detail. I brought all the parts I needed in order to be fixed. I had to fix the rear axle and the driveshaft. Also I buyed the serpentine belt as well because my car was making squealing noises. After two days I was called to pickup my car. I paid $ 1000. I drove it in the highway and almost killed me. The car was swerving and I couldn't control it. I went back to progressive auto care at 11908 Elam Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180. And they told me all is fine and there's nothing else that they could do. So I have to send my car to another auto repair shop located in mesquite TX, and after the inspection I was told that the parts are still the old ones that are broken and the parts hasn't been changed and if I would have driven my car for another day my car would have loose control as it was swerving left and right and would have killed me. Plus the serpentine belt was cutted in half and was ready to break. The progressive auto care located in balch spring TX they didn't replaced the new parts including the serpentine belt that was broken in half. I have to purchase all the parts and to fix my car from the beginning. I wouldn't recommend this horrible place. You been warned.

These guys / business is such a blessing to my children and I . Not only do they listen but they care about your safety and well being . I love them all but truly admire Don and his positivity .

I may have left a review for Progressive, but I don't care. I can't say enough good things about Progressive. We've used them for a few years. This is the only garage I have ever trusted. Jeff never sells us a service or parts we don't need. Just had our brakes done the other day. He (or rather his shop) only replaced the pads because that's all we needed. So many other places tell you that they have to replace the drums also. Jeff has saved us so much money over these last few years. Super honest and everyone who works there is always so nice. I would recommend Progressive to anyone. I trust them 100%Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very nice people, they gave me a ride home while they worked on my only car, then came to my house a piked me up when the repairs were done, very resonable price. I just cant say enough of what a positive experience this place was, God bless them, they have been in business 30yrs and I can see why.

Jeff is amazingly honest he explained everything he was doing in great detail. He is, well there's no words to describe how wonderful he is. I took my car there not knowing exactly what was wrong with it and he took great care and explaining everything went above and beyond outstanding service I would recommend them to anyone especially a woman. There are too many shops out there that would rip off a woman. Jeff is not one of them he's very honest and hard-working thank you very much!!!!�Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I've gone once before a few years back. They did a good job on my pick up. Just dropped an f150 off for a leak repair. Mr. Jeff did a great introductory job. Took a look at my truck, informed me that there were a few cars infeont of mine so it would be a day or 2 till he gets to it. I Was fine with that, he let me park the truck there till it's time came.Looking forward to getting muh truck fixed and back on the road. Will give another review after that.

I love my mechanic shop!! They are very nice and will show you every step of the way what is wrong with your car. You are always greeted with a smile and Jeff is utterly amazing. I WILL NEVER take my car anywhere else as long as his doors are open.

I m from Tennessee 11hrs away here for the cowboys game. After the worst hotel stay ever, heading to our next stop on vacation the compressor goes out on my car. We pulled in and they immediately got on it. Can t say enough about this place. He showed us the problem explained it in full detail and got started on the repair. Great hospitality, great communication. I can t say thanks enough for not taking advantage of us out of towners, and getting us back on the road as quick as they did!

The are honest and will go above and beyond to make sure you get the work done right ! I highly recommend. Cost wise..they are not as expensive as the dealer but still a little on the high side. It's worth it though. I've learned my lesson about trusting the hole in the wall places that don't cost much

I had been going to Jeff for at least 13 years. Over the past few years I had been feeling like he was doing things to my car for me to keep coming back. This last time I went for brakes and a tune up. He over charged me for the brakes when I supplied both the front and back brakes. I went back to pick up my car and he said that he wasn t finished. He had a really sneaky look on his face. He came to my friends car like he didn t know that it was myhe was working on. Told me that it was something wrong with my engine. It was something wrong I took it to another shop days later and he had put a brand new broken spark plug in it. That he didn t do a full diagnostic on it so he wouldn t charge me. That was a lie. He added it into the brakes. Then when I left my tail light didn t work. It was working before I took it there. I took it to Autozone because the check engine light was still on and a tune up should ve made it go off. I told them about my brake light. He unscrewed it an low and behold they had disconnect me light. I will never use them again! He s one of those I m a Christian I m such a wonderful person but he s very crooked.Services: Auto engine tuning, Brakes

Every time my dodge ram 1500 acts up I take it there these guys work hard I recommend these guys over everyone else plus they warranty their work good honest mechanics also they will actually tell you if they see anything else that might eventually give you problems in the future and get the job done and have your car or truck running by end day awesome job!!! 10 stars from me thanks guys appreciate your hard work and always get my vehicle done so I don't have to miss work

Everything about this business is professional. Jeff, the owner, always take his time to go over things with me to assure that I understand. I feel safe and not taken advantage of when I go to him. I bypass the dealership sometimes just to go to him. If I tell him that I m going on a long road trip, he always tell me to bring the car in so he can check everything on it. I ve had some horrible experience with a couple of mechanics but that s not the case here.

I take my truck and my wife's car here anytime we have car issues and Jeff has always been so helpful and honest about fixing our cars. Definitely the only mechanic that I trust. Very honest, reasonable prices, and exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend.

I took my SUV to the Guys at Progressive Auto, I was hesitant at first, of course, because I'm a woman that knows nothing about cars ( I just drive) & some auto shops try to get over on my kind.. Progressive was nothing like that. I dropped my SUV off this morning 9am, barely running.. They had my baby running perfectly around 3pm. Not only did they keep me updated on the problems and solutions, but the price of labor was reasonable as well. They took Great of me, I would definitely recommend this Auto shop to Anyone in need of Service

Jeff, the owner, is very knowledgeable, kind and a purist.I d give more stars but, in my opinion, I think the process is lacking structure and it can be difficult to find the results you want to pay for.On a positive note though, the quality of work and affordability is great with the caveat of time management.

I have been doing business with Jeff at Progressive for 10+ years. He has always been honest with me and exceeded my expectations. They are always honest and fair. Several times I took a vehicle to them expecting to pay for a major problem only to find out that it was something minor. I have never had a bad experience with them but I'm certain if I did they would work with me to make it right.

I have been dealing with the these people for over ten yes. I use to believe they where honest, God fearing people. The last few years they have change my opinion. I took my van in for major front end work. I got a quote and then researched it extensively. They where over a $100 less then anyone. I verified their quote with them then let them fix it. They did a good job. When I picked it up I was told sorry his son had miss quoted the price of the part. They charged me 110 more before I could get my keys. I just took my car up there and told them what it was doing and that I thought it was the fuel pump. their exact words were :worst case scenario it would cost $380:. When I went to get it. They told me it would be $552 because it took THEM 2 hours to figure out what was wrong with it. So just be prepared to pay at the very least $100 more then there quote . also they had my car for 4 days. Friends even saw them in it broken down on the street. They put over 15 miles on my car. It now has major scratches form a bush or something on the drivers side that they claim no knowledge of. I also found something plastic in my seat. First they did not even know what it was. Then they said it went to the battery and I did not need it. That it was trash.I know for a fact that they never even unhooked the battery because all my stations were still set. I will never be going back. I was warned. Next time I will listen.

Jeff and his crew are LEGIT! They are so kind and courteous and most importantly THEY ARE HONEST!Jeff treats you like you're a gearhead and breaks it all down like you know what he's talking about. Just nod your head yes like you're understanding the cool details, ins and outs, of your car, they why, and the what they did what they did to make it work and how it will save you in the long run.They've earned my business.I was recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint.I'm recommending you. Go check em out. They are honest and good priced and DONT OVERSELL you or try to "upgrade" you on unnecessary stuff.

I told him EXACTLY what was wrong with my car, he chose not to listen to what I had to say for whatever reason. He kept the car for three days, and I had to make the phone calls to him to find out what was going on with the car. He said it should cost $90 for the diagnostic. Lo and behold, it was EXACTLY what I said it was. I was told I was going to be charged for an extra hour. If he would've listened to what I had to say, he would've saved himself the time, and me the money. But oh no, he thinks he knows every thing. He uses his "faith" as something to hide behind, and make people think he's a good guy. If he was as good of a guy as he said he was, he wouldn't have screwed me over. I can't even get a word in edgewise with him, so it's safe to say he definitely needs to work on learning how to listen. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!

I love these guy's.They r honest hard working Family Men. I have a 95 TOYOTA with 313672 miles. They have done a timing belt EGR valve Motor mounts and some oil changes. I wouldn't trust anyone but these Guy's with my car. A+.

My family has used Progressive for years and we love the quality of work they produce. The staff is helpful, friendly, and God loving. I know when I bring my car in they will give me a fair price that is competitive and get the work done in a timely manner.

I've been taking my car to Progressive since last summer and it's always great doing business with them. Very professional they only work in what's needed. Some places that you take your car to and you tell them what's wrong. Then they will say well you need this and that. I'm like why are poking around on something that I did not say. I definitely recommend Progressive auto Jeff and his crews are great.

I had my car towed to the Ford Dealership, they said just to get my car back on the road $1,700.00... WHAT no way, so I called Progressive & spoke to Jerry & he quickly got me a quote. $206.00. So if you need a good auto repair I would definitely give these guys a call. My car has never drove this good. Amazing!!!!
