Outstanding service every time. Dane, Justin, and Rico have always been so nice and take good care of me and my car. Vicks is quick, efficient and has fair prices. I've been screwed over many times by other shady businesses this place is an honorable gem. I will always come here. Highly recommend.

4/4/2024 Good service. Got my auto inspected & an oil change. Friendly owner Dane Vick & son, Justin. AC in check-in area & lobby. Comfortable chairs while waiting.

Jamie is fantastic he did an awesome job on my SUV. Very respectful. And the Owner helped me with an issue I had, saved me hundreds the dealership was charging by giving me a simple tip to resolve the issue.

Great shop! Vick is a great guy and the staff is very professional. The service was fast, but in case you have to wait a little they do have a small lobby with A/C and refreshments

Three strikes you're out - We had 3 appointments with these guys for an alignment. We showed up to the first one and they had a another vehicle they had taken apart. They were waiting on parts to show up and it would be a week before they could reschedule. We should have at least received a call, but things happen and were understanding and rescheduled. Due to the first incident I reached out the second time before our appointment. They still were not ready and had to reschedule the appointment again the morning of. I let them know they need to at least call us the day before and reschedule. I as a customer should not have to chase them around when they are scheduling appointments. Yesterday I called again since these guys are so unorganized to make sure our appointment would be filled. Justin fielded the first two instances and I spoke with Dean the last phone call. He said he was unable to hold the appointment because he couldn't confirm he would be ready that it was first come first serve. I let him know I should have been told that a week and a half ago. This morning I get a very rude call letting us know we have been placed on a "no show list" after I was told last night our appointment wasn't valid....um what?! These guys need to get it together. If you are first come first serve, why are you scheduling appointments you never keep? Also why are you telling your customers you will keep the appointments then at the last minute telling them they can't honor the appointment, then calling them with a rude voicemail the next morning. This is 3 appointments later. We have been extremely patient and then a rude voicemail. We took our car to their competition right down the road (Brother's Alignment). They only charge $60 for the alignment and gave us fantastic service. Vick's expertise can put us on whatever list they want, but don't call my phone harassing me the next morning for your mistakes. Just avoid at all costs!Service: Wheel alignment

I got my state inspection done here. They were fast and friendly and best part was how helpful Justin was! He was very kind and also mounted my new TX license plates. I am greatful for his time and assistance! I will definitely be back to this shop for all my automotive needs!!!

Best oil change experience I ve ever had, I called same day and was able to get in and they knocked it out very quickly! Justin was very personable and such an honest mechanic, did not try to up sale me and was very honest! He even gave me a bag of cookies for the road I will definitely be back for my oil changes I appreciate the great service y all! It s hard to find good people out there these days!

I am very pleased with my experience with Vick's! They performed a great deal of maintenance on my car recently - new tires, alignment, fixed leak in rear axle seal, oil change, replaced broken wheel studs, plus other miscellaneous things - and I appreciate their fair prices and Dane's proactive and honest communication. Whereas some other mechanics I have been to in the past seem to upcharge dramatically on parts and inflate their labor costs, I feel Vick's was quite reasonable and accomplished a LOT for the money I paid them. The experience driving my car afterwards was a night and day difference from before! I will happily take my car back to Vick's in the future.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Oil change

DANE VICK SAVED MY LIFEHad my vehicle's front brake fixed at this place. Following Monday I was on the way to lunch when a car in front of me stopped suddenly. I SLAMMED on the brake and my car stopped expeditiously, avoiding a bad tailgate. Fantastic on the brake job Dane!

Nice place they have a nice little cube where you can see the mechanic working on your car. I was there waiting for my car to be inspected.The guy I talked to initially wasn t a very friendly, but overall experience was professional.They even left a bag of cookies in my car.

I've been to Vick's several times for various things, ranging from minor matters like an A/C diagnostic to a full brake replacement. They do excellent work at a fair price, and on the one occasion when they made a mistake, they made it right. 100% satisfied, and I'll keep coming back!

Verbal quote repair for condenser. Took vehicle in based on said quote. Once dropped off, I received a call back with an addition charge not included in original quote. Reconfirmed with 2 other competitors if their quotes included the Freon recharge which they did. Nice people but my time is valuable and did not appreciate how it was wasted based on this practice. Had I known the recharge was not part of the base quote (like their competitors) I would not have gone there.

If you re a female don t go to this business. My Significant other had a terrible experience. There s a specific and particularly rude employee that works there. You know who. Rude service and I will never recommend anyone to ever spend your money here at Vick s Automotive.

I've been using Dane Vick going on 30 years now, and still satisfied with his quality and concern with my automotive needs. Sure, there's been a time or two that the replacement part has failed within the warranty period, but it's not been to faulty installation on his part, he works it out with the vendor. So yes, I'm very satisfied with Vick's Expertune!

Dane and his team are fantastic. I trust their recommendations to be what is needed for the long term health and maintenance of my vehicles, not excess services that drive up cost.2023 update: still my first choice auto mechanic, still great car-maintaining work and guidance where options are laid out clearly in a way I understand.

After being quoted $700 for a wheel bearing exchange I decided to shop around a bit and I'm really glad I stumbled across Vick's. Not only did Vick quote me labor at a 1/3 of what my first quote was, he told me where I could save money by purchasing the part on my own and had the install and alignment done in a day. It's nice going to a shop that not only respects your time but your budget, the fact that Vicks just a cool guy and a straight shooter is just icing on the cake :). I'd highly recommend this shop for any repairs you might be needing and know I'll be coming back for any future maintenance, thanks Vick's!Service: General repairs

EXCELLENT! Dane & Justin gave perfect customer service! They explained step-by-step what they were doing, express concerns before they took action, brought me out & showed me the before, during & after the job was completed.....man, what more can you ask for from a mechanic! I definitely have found a permanent new shop!. I found this shop on Yelp with 5 stars & I have experienced why!

I hope I am spelling your name correctly. The owner Dana was a breath of fresh air to talk to. Even though Vicks did not service my vehicle Dana took the time and effort to help me get a price quote on how much it would to fix my car. Dana showed integrity and genuine while talking to him. Even when I decline there was no frustration but level of calm and thankfulness. I hope and pray there more people like Dana and companies like Vicks. Again thank you Dana for your time and effort.

Vick is such a kind man, I had a wonderful experience here. It was my first visit and I am sold on being a forever customer due to his professionalism, kindness and generosity. I highly recommend their services. I received a fuel injection service as well as a transmission fluid service. Great prices, also you can get a quote on yelp pretty fast to see if it s in your range. He s very responsive! I was emailed a pdf if the services and paid confirmation , which I really appreciate bc I am not a huge fan of having all the papers in my car. I was able to drop off at night before my services and pick up anytime after my services were done, before closing time. Also, cinnamon candies by the checkout counter. :)

Hands down the absolute best automotive experiences I have EVER had! I have taken 2 different vehicles to Vick's a number of times and EVERY time I am blown away by the speed, precision, affordability, and professionalism! There is a level of customer service at Vick's that I honestly thought had gone extinct in the automotive industry! Great quality! Great people! Great service! Great prices! Thank you guys for getting me back on the road the same day and I still have a little money in my pocket!

This mechanic is so amazing. God has blessed us with having someone who is willing to work with people and to get their cars done right. If you want excellent quality fixes on your vehicle I would say go here. Honesty is something you have a hard time finding in a good mechanic

Best service shop I ve found in Austin, and always at exceptional prices. Dane is straight up with me and let s me know for what exactly I m being charged for and what work I do and don t need. On my 2017 Subaru Legacy the cheapest brake job I could find was 750 ONLY to resurface the rotors and replace the pads. Dane charged me under 700 to replace all rotors and pads. Amazing quality parts as well. Thanks Dane.

Though I didn't end up doing any business with Vick's, Royce was super friendly and reached back out to me in response to my inquiry to let me know that he didn't do the work I was looking for, AND walked me through who/how to go about it INCLUDING an estimate for what I could expect if I went another way.He is INCREDIBLY friendly and professional, and it's clear he CARES about his neighbors!

Vick s is an honest, fairly priced mom and pop shop. They are super accommodating, too. Had an all around fantastic experience. So glad I found these guys! Highly recommend for those wanting a positive, no worries auto mechanic experience.

The guy at the counter over charged me for a service an gave me some dumb excuse about him needing to to hire a new mechanic and passing the cost on to the consumer or something stupid which was a lie. He was just a money hungry a hole.

I had a great time at Vicks, and I would highly recommend anyone going there! I worked with Vick's son, who was extremely helpful. He helped me with my air conditioning, and also an oil leak that I had. The service was prompt, honest, and very helpful. I will be going back whenever I need help with my car.

I m new to Texas and came here for my inspection needed to register the car. The staff was very friendly and fast. My husband and I waited in their lounge during our quick visit. I ll be coming here again for future inspections and maintenence!
