4/5 update. Since our last review Mitch and his team have done ppf and tint on 3 more cars for us. This team is excellent and their work stands out. They also expanded the shop and have lots of cool stuff to look atMitch and team did an awesome job tinting and ppf'ing the wife's new model Y. They were quick and very detail oriented. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic team here at TX tint. The job was done quickly and effectively, the team members were friendly, and they were nice enough to let me look at some of the cars in the shop. I'm very particular with who puts hands on my Supra, and I didn't make a mistake trusting TX Tint with the keys!

I can't speak highly enough of the team at TX Tint. Dimitris helped answer all of my questions about PPF and the installation process, even though I had MANY before proceeding. I received updates throughout the PPF and tint installation without even asking for them. I'm so happy with the final product and I couldn't have had a better experience with TX Tint. I can honestly say that working with them was the best car service/install experience I've ever had, and their customer service was unparalleled for any industry. Great people with a dedication to the craft, I can't recommend TX Tint enough.

Moved from Chicago to Austin so as a northerner I never needed tints. Got it done in 2017 at Shade Shop. Impeccable job set the bar sky high. Got a new car 2024, and dealer gave me a pass for tints here. Lots of bubbles mostly went away...dust. but a hair on driverside passenger window and a fiber on the passenger side rear window. I have had so much stress and injury after my car was totaled and the new car had issues and now the tint is not perfection...but i can't even bring myself to go back and reclaim this anytime soon. I'm just exhausted and beat down. I don't know how this place has all 5 star reviews. Maybe bc the customer service is good. I will say everyone working there was very kind and helpful.

This place is a hidden gem! Mitch is one of the most honest & genuine folks I ve ever met!I got XR+ tint done on my Y - the work was incredible and the attention to detail was unparalleled.30% front windows, 20% back windows, 30% rear window, 70% windshield.

I got the PPF and ceramic coating done for my 2023 BMW 530i. I couldn t be happier! My car looks showroom ready. Paint looks pristine with flawless clarity. Mitch, Jeff, Dimitri and team did an amazing job. Highly recommend!

Mitch and his crew did a great job on my window tint. He is a very nice guy and his facility is neat and clean. I was quite surprised how fast they completed what they could. There was an issue with a short circuit in my rear defroster, which reportedly melted the window film; preventing that phase of the installation. The owner, Mitch, not only made me aware of the problem, he offered his help if the dealership I purchased my new 4Runner from, had any questions about his assessment. Mitch told me that after I get the rear window replaced, I could come back to get the new glass tinted.UPDATE: After taking my 4Runner back to the dealership to be inspected and receiving a clean bill of health, I took my vehicle back to TX Tint & PPF. Mitch was a man of his word. He completed my window tinting in a timely, professional manner and confirmed that there were no issues with the installation. My 4Runner looks better than ever and I'm looking forward to having enhanced protection from the Sun's heat, glare and deleterious effects on my vehicle's interior. Again, kudos to Mitch Govea, and his team at TX Tint & PPF!

Just got my TRD pro done with ceramic tint on all windows including windshield. Very competitive pricing and they did a great job. Mitch is legit there too. I have been to 3 other tinting places in austin and this is by far the best one I ve been to.

Mitch and Jorge at TX Tint are super down to earth and accommodating. Their new garage/shop is clean and professional. They could probably address 3-4 cars at once inside. They use a computer software and precision cutting system to cut the pieces of tint for the specific car you. bring in. They are also an XPEL certified shop.About a week before I took delivery of my new Tesla, I contacted Mitch for some window tinting, as well as information on ceramic coats and PPF. He gave me fair prices on everything, and was patient in explaining the various options. Mitch was happy to install only what I needed, and didn't try to upsell me on anything.I ended up going with full tints on the whole car including the windshield, which turned out beautifully. There is an immediate and noticeable decrease in glare, and the heat reduction is simply fantastic. If you have a Tesla with white seats, I highly recommend going with the 70 windshield, 15 fronts, and 55 rear. The rear windows are factory-stained, so the combination of 15/55 blends very nicely.While I waited for the car to be worked on, they had coffee and wifi in the lobby. I was able to get some work done as well as check in on the progress of the car as I wanted. The whole process took just under 3 hours.I highly recommend Mitch and Jorge at TX Tint! Really can t say enough great things about this shop. The owner and his whole crew are amazing. I ve had them tint 3 of my vehicles and asked him to stealth wrap my new truck. Beautiful job with amazing attention to detail. Really great people.

If you are looking for professional PPF and Tint installers that are very detailed, surgeon precise in their cuts and insanely detail oriented TX Tint is the best place in Austin PERIOD!They took me in only a few days after inquiring, their customer service is remarkable, communication throughout the entire process with instagram post about my car so I can see what was done! Mitch, Jeff and Jorge are incredible! Passionate people and car enthusiasts, it their work ethic and service was just out of this world. AGAIN THEY ARE THE #1 IN AUSTIN by far!Incredible job guys! Tx tint hands down the best tint in Austin ,Tx. They went above and beyond with there customer service they know exactly what they are doing. If I get another truck I know where I am going TX TINT. If you are looking for tint that will last you a life time come to TX Tint.

The gallery pictures aren t just cars brought in for photos; when I went by to see their work and get a quote there was a new Ferrari inside and a new Lamborghini outside waiting to be picked up. And best of all, they treated me as though my much more average car was one of those.Fantastic service, premium products, very high level of attention to detail.. all at a reasonable price in line with what other more well-known shops would charge.Said simply, we need more businesses like this serving customers.

ITS GORGEOUSI got my 2021 Tesla Model 3 delivered and tinted the windows, rear glass, and sun visor ASAP. Best tint I have ever seen, makes the car look like a whole brand new different car. Took about 3 hours to complete which is really good for how complicated the rear glass is to install and everything looks PERFECT(the sick picture shows for itself). Really good price and Mitch is a nice and great person.

Tinted my Model 3 with TX Tint, it came out amazing. Mitch is professional, friendly, fair and trustworthy. He carries Xpel products which have top of the line IR and heat rejection (clutch w/Texas heat). The shop is spotless and has a high end feel and you can tell they take pride in their quality of work.
