I've taken Porsche cars here over the years for maintenance and repairs. It is my go-to shop in Austin area for Porsche; fair price, good work and knowledgeable good people. They can be a bit hard to get hold of on the phone sometimes, and yes you need to schedule ahead.

Amazing, high quality work for Porsche sports cars at this family-owned shop. Frannie, Matt, Chris, and LeAnn are all friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about all generations of Porsches. They do everything from classic restorations to race prep for the latest GT cars. And the bonus is the trip of golden retrievers who greet every customer!Update 02/2022: The team here is still doing awesome work!

Great place to take your Porsche if you are tired of getting ripped off by the dealer. They will tell what needs to be done and charge you a reasonable price for the work. They tend to be busy so need to schedule ahead.

Wow. Honestly one of my best experiences at an automotive shop ever. Frannie was an absolute all star. These guys really know their stuff. Just walking out of there gave me peace of mind knowing I have them to also come back to!

I have taken a few of my classic porches to TPWS. Their work is excellent and reasonable. They have been in the industry locally for 25 years and have an excellent reputation. I also have seen the Porsche racing team take their cars there too. Awesome knowledgeable folks!

Matt is a solid guy when it comes to Porsche. I have an older race car and he got me back on the road with several upgrades. He also made a few very judicial decisions about little fixes that needed to be done without breaking the bank.

This is a Porsche-specific business and they've been there many, many years. Matt heads up the workshop, Frannie the office. No frills. Just great people who really care and know Porsches inside out. Absolute pleasure to know them. Great service and they really do go the extra mile. This place is IT!First visit there. They fixed my problematic 958 Cayenne air suspension problems at as promised. Austin is lucky to have them and you should go there if you are needing a shop for your Porsche. Thank you TPWS.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I can t say enough about this business. As a new Porsche owner, the task of finding a trustworthy shop that will not only fix the issue but, also be transparent and affordable, is a huge relief. After one bad experience At a different place, Franny, Chris and everyone were easy to talk to, extremely well trained and , maybe most importantly, very empathetic. The dogs are a real treat as well! Don t worry about owning an older Porsche with these guys.

As another reviewer noted, it is somewhat difficult to get in touch with them. They are very busy and a small shop so patience is needed when calling. However, keep trying as its well worth your effort. The work they do is comprehensive & top notch. They will spend whatever time you need to go over any questions and/or concerns about what work you need done. I was referred to TPWS by a friend and am very thankful to have learned about them. I will not take my Porsche anywhere else. Excellent, thorough and honest service. It doesn't get any better.

This locally owned family business continues to turn out excellent workmanship at a fair price. Highly knowledgeable of all Porsche cars. They serviced my car today and I m quite happy with their knowledge. Thought I d share the experience with you. Recommended Porsche mechanic Check them out.

TPWS has been really good to me. They treat each customer like a friend, and I actually enjoy going there. No one wants to have car repairs, but there's such a sense of relief knowing they will diagnose and repair things correctly, and at a fair price. Love the community feel of it all.

Had a great experience getting my 2000 Boxster serviced here. Frannie and her team have a great process in place to keep you informed from start to finish. They exceeded my expectations, demonstrated patience, had consistently timely and clear communication, and were willing to go above and to take care of my service requests. Needless to say, the work they performed on the Boxster was outstanding. Thank you TPWS Team ... see you at the next service interval.

Vey pleased with the speed, quality and level of service I was given. My Porsche is not the typical, having had an engine swap, but the folks at TPWS new what to do and fixed several things on my car. They even corrected a TPMS issue that the service advisor at the Porsche dealership in San Antonio had never seen before. My convertable top is also working again. This is the place to bring your Porsche.

The people at this shop are like family to me. They will do you right every day of the year. Family owned and operated since I was in highschool driving my little POS riced out Mazda protege 5. Then I had some automatics for gas mileage while I was broke af fresh out of highschool and they still called and made sure I was taking care of my cars. Now I have a slow manual car again and within the first week they've helped me improve the drivability. Absolutely top notch shop right here.

Great, family owned business. They know Porsches better than anyone in town. They will work on your car for a reasonable price, and are up front and honest. I take all of my Porsches to TPWS

Just moved to town and was looking for a good independent service shop. Found TPWS via a number of positive recommendations on PCA and Rennlist. moving from NYC so was used to Manhattan dealer pricing so just assumed I was going to get overcharged or jammed for unnecessary add-ons. Instead, Frannie who manages the shop couldn't have been more helpful - no nonsense, fair pricing, service done on schedule and final bill below estimate. There was an issue with the service requiring a follow-up visit and they got me back in and the issue resolved within 30 minutes of my call.

I've tried going to local shops around my area, but none of them really knew their way around my 944 turbo. The folks at TPWS diagnosed my AC issue with no guesswork or run-around. This is the only place I know my vehicle will be cared for and done right!

I can not thank the family at TPWS enough. TPWS is literally a family-owned and run institution that specializes in Porsches. I intended to purchase a Cayman S and wanted a thorough PPI (pre-purchase inspection) prior. For an extremely reasonable fair, the detailed PPI that demonstrated the car had been thoroughly inspected from front to back.When I had questions regarding specific faults, the son and daughter mechanics took the time to step away from other projects to point out discrepancies with the vehicle. For example, it was apparent that the tail lights were not running in syn. When I inquired regarding the possible causes and cost to examine/fix, they father mechanic honestly explained it good be a simple inexpensive fix of changing the bulbs to something much more complicated and pricey.Log story short, it was a simple fix that only required a light bulb change, TPWS charged me minimally for the examination/fix, and even allowed me the time in their busy schedule to perform an oil change (as a reasonable fair) considering my long drive back to Houston.Thank you again!

Very fair and easy going on my new old 997.1. IMS update and new clutch a at a very fair price. I would buy almost any vintage 911 with the confidence they would take care of what it needed.

Franny and the whole team are true professionals. You'll be hard pressed to find a more knowledge group or Porsche mechanics around. I highly recommend TPWS.
