Awful customer service. Brought in vehicle for rectification because there were rock chips in the hood of my brand new 2023 Model 3 Performance when delivered to me. Now 2 months later it s being rectified at Tesla Collision. I was first told 2 weeks turn around and they could not provide a loaner vehicle. It was made very apparent that my rectification was not something Tesla Collision was supposed to do, but that they would do me a favor and work on my car. I was told to come here by Tesla service! A favor? I just want my car fixed! This was all an attempt to decline providing me a loaner vehicle, because this was just a favor . After I wouldn t let it go, they magically had a loaner for me. Part of getting my vehicle fixed was getting the temp registration updated as Tesla still hadn t sent me my permanent registration. Well, when my car finished getting worked on, they wanted me to bring the loaner back immediately, even though they hadn t updated my temp registration. Their awful manager Damian something called me to tell me I needed to pick up my car and drive illegally on expired tags or he would charge me $45 per day for the loaner. Again it was brought to my attention that Damian was doing me a favor and that it wasn t his or Tesla Collisions responsibility to update my registration and it was their recommendation I drive my car illegally. Good call Tesla! Good call Damian! As he continued to talk loudly in an attempt to talk over me I couldn t believe the unprofessionalism. He must really hate his job to not want to do everything he can to take care of his customers. That s what made me write this review. I hope it talks someone out of buying a Tesla. This has been an amazingly amateur car driving and buying experience. Rethink your purchase, and please god ask Tesla to let you go to a different collision center, Damian makes this place suck. Don t be like me and assume that this being Tesla translates to quality work. This shop only focuses on timelines trying to get cars out quick. The service advisors and front desk staff are stellar super nice folks. The main guy running the show is overconfident and aggressive. I denied accepting my car 3 times and it still isn t correct but I was sick and tired of being told my car is ready just to be disappointed.My car had a front bumper and fender side swipe. They put old parts on the car and tried to pass off as new. The paint was horrible with dirt and orange peel. I felt like I was at maaco my heart just dropped. Still my car is not right. Any panel they touched has broken tabs, not aligned.I highly recommend you do your homework before you let anyone touch your car. Talk to Austin Auto Finishes if you want to do it right.

I have a 2022 Model 3. My dashboard trim and driver's door trim got swapped out with an older trim. Why did Austin tesla collision do that? They did not fix all of the problems but still gave back my vehicle. I still hear the whistling sound coming from my driver's door (alignment issue which creates air pockets causing a whistling sound), the drivers' inner step has hard scratches made by repaired tech, and my rear bumper still has scratches from the accident but was ignored, the hood got a rock chip first visit, the front bump has hair like paint, the paint is cracking on my drivers rear door after second repaired. Someone step on feces and brought it in my car. After cleaning and trashing my carpets, the smell still lingers when it gets extremely hot outside.

Went in to repair front and rear end damage to my 2013 Tesla model S. The car was done in 7 days, and looks brand new. Extremely pleased with this place, as other body shops I've gone to in the past have taken upwards of a month, and don't even compete when it comes to quality of work!Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

On my first visit I had very minor rear bumper damage from someone running into me at a red light. I was able to get my car back within a week even though they seemed to be very busy. Jon B. helped me the whole way with great and clear communication and the quality of the work that was done was solid. I did find a new scratch on my car when I went to pick my car up, but they were able to repair it within a day no questions asked.On my second visit I had a minor door ding that had a dent and paint damage. My insurance was causing a headache with delays and disputes, but Brian N. was very professional and available the entire way to help make my repair a great experience. Brian really beyond expectations and I would recommend him to anyone visiting.On both on my visits I have been very pleased with the service and am happy to know that there is a dependable service center that I can use in the unfortunate case that I need to visit again.Service: Body & Trim

The experience I had at this location was beyond amazing. I am surprised not only at the quick turn around but how everything was just so fluid. My calls and text where answered promptly, I was given updates frequently and the process was just so seemelss. Thank you to everyone I encountered and to those in the back of house as well.

Had a good experience with Tesla Collision center - even though it took almost 2 months to get an appointment, they finished our car that got rear ended in less than a week which is really impressive given I have heard horror stories of other peoples cars in other repair shops taking months. They were great with communication throughout the week and let us pick up the car after hours. They cleaned the inside and outside of the car for us including scuff marks and vacuuming the inside which was lovely. Our car looked brand new after the repairs. The only other thing I could ask for is for them to have charged the car fully prior to returning it for that full luxury, quality experience. Highly recommend waiting for an appointment here for your Tesla to get things done right and quickly - sometimes appointments open up so keep checking your app daily to see if a sooner appointment becomes available.

Currently trying to set up an appointment following a collision. It has been a nightmare getting a hold of someone. Finally got a hold of someone names Stephanie on the phone who was quite condescending and short with me on the phone. I am yet to even get my car serviced but if this is the type of customer service they provide, I am fearful of the experience I am going to have. Will provide an update to this review as I deal more with them.

Write down everything you communicate, provide them with it. They do no write anything down, and tend to hand you off to anyone available at the time you are there. When you pick up your car, do a deep and thorough inspection, and check all functions of the vehicle that are electromechanical. Our car went though two round trips iteratively fixing mistakes and bugs, and I ve lost patience driving 30 minutes into round rock and getting a rental car so now we live with a trunk that won t close and charging door that no longer is automated. Think of the experience as developing software and spending time iteratively doing bug fixes. Could be the last Tesla we own unfortunately.

My vehicle has been hit from behind twice in 6 months but this collision center has been incredible. They were able to locate the parts needed in a timely manner. Micheal was overseeing my repair & he also communicated with the other parties insurance on my behalf. My car was in perfect condition when I picked it up & they even washed it inside & out. Great communication! They took great care of my car and were very kind and patient with me. I had my insurance send my car here after I was rear-ended and they were very thorough and fast at getting back to the insurance company. I also really liked how realistic they were with the damage and time frames. If you are looking for somewhere to send your Tesla to after a collision, the wait here is definitely worth it!

If you love your Tesla (I'm sure everyone does), then always get it serviced through Tesla service center.I got mine (Model Y) serviced/repaired recently in Tesla Austin and I must say that Michael (my assigned Tech) has been phenomenal in addressing the concerns.Michael is extremely knowledgeable and very detail oriented in what he does. When Michael explains to you about the service job to be performed, his passion towards Tesla (as an organization) really speaks out! Michael and his team are very technical and I really admire their quality of job.I strongly recommend Tesla Austin to anybody who would like to get their Tesla repaired with the best in-class quality!Service: Body & Trim

I definitely had a five star experience. My car was damaged on both rockers when the moving company downloaded my car. I took my car to another couple of shops in town, and they scared the hell out of me about what it takes to repair the car. They were even talking about totaling my car, but Tesla Collision Austin took care of the work. Everything went smooth. No parts had to be replaced, and they were very professional and understanding throughout the whole process. I worked with Michael. He s extremely professional.

I took my Tesla here after I got rear-ended. They were extremely considerate of my time and even started placing the orders for the parts that I needed as soon as I made my first appointment so that they would arrive quickly and I could get my car fixed ASAP. They worked with my insurance to make sure I didn t have to pay anything out of pocket and had an agreement with Enterprise so that I could pick up and drop off the rental car right at the collision center.Highly recommend coming here and special shout-out to Ernest for the best customer service experience!

My car was rear-ended at a red light so I brought it in to get the trunk and rear bumper fixed. Daniel was excellent. He made sure that the parts were there before I arrived, and that I understood all of the steps of the process, and communicated the progress of the repairs nearly daily to make sure I was kept in the loop. He even went the extra mile to get a tail light replaced since it was still under warranty and it was showing signs of condensation. Highly recommend!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Michael was my PoC for my repair after an old lady hit my car. He was very communicative and professional. Upon arriving at the collision center, one of his colleagues helped and stepped in while Michael wasn't there (I had come in several hours after my appointment by accident due to rescheduling and not updating the time of the appointment.)I dropped off the M3 on Friday two days before Christmas. The repairs were done and was ready for pickup on Monday. I had some minor intermittent issues with my passenger side Blindspot camera in the past month and mentioned it to Michael and he took the proactive steps to take it back to their techs to see what going on with it after reviewing the report logs generated by the M3. I should add this interaction and helpfulness happened at 5:26pm, 26 minutes after their collision center posted closing hours.The service here was above my expectations and the staff here went above and beyond as there existed processes to address additional concerns that would normally belong to another department.

Januarie and Yeni are supper helpful, they help and get my car fixed so quickly. I return for a minor issue the next day and Yeni helped me get my car fixed in less than 20 mins. 2022 MYP had to go to the shop for some body damage caused by a UHAUL workers' mistake. These guys were so easy to work with, great communicators, very thorough and accommodating. I can't recommend enough.Every other body shop wanted me to leave my car with them for 3-5 weeks waiting for parts. These guys ordered the parts ahead of time so I could use my vehicle in the meantime. They estimated 3-4 days for the repairs and got it back to me in just over 2!If you're working with Jessica, I ensure you that you're in great hands.Service: Body & Trim

I came in with a heavy heart and a broken spirit, but my main guy Ernest made it all better. He not only took care of me and my car, but he went above and beyond in providing top notch customer support and communicating effectively with my insurance adjustor.
