I appreciate their honesty and follow through as my college student dealt with her first car trouble issue. They treated her with respect, were prompt, and very helpful. Easy drop of system as well for after hours.

I m completely horrified by the verbal abuse my co-worker received from Michael today. She has referred Tarrytown Texaco to many of us at work and always had a great experience. Michael does not need to be working with the general public in any kind of service capacity, her experience was beyond disturbing to all of us.

A one-stop shop for your car engine check-up, State Inspection, car wash, and of course to fill gas on your car. Excellent location in the corner in Tarrytown Austin. The crew here are knowledgeable and friendly. I finally found a place to regularly fill my gas as well as for annual state inspection!

I absolutely love this Texaco. From the service to the people that work here everything is 5 starts.Michael the owner is an amazing human being. He did a speedy repair for BMW. I also get all my car inspections done here as there are no appointments needed.I highly recommend this place. They have an amazing crew who are knowledgeable and courteous.

I've brought my vehicle here for minor repairs -- brakes and hoses -- and had no complaints.Was thinking about bringing the vehicle back, but was told they no longer provide quotes for repairs over the phone.Their expectation is for customers to drive to their location just to receive an estimate for repairs.And that's arguably the stupidest policy I've come across at any mechanic shop.

Brian was great! I went the other night right before closing with a flat tire. He was super friendly and took care of my flat quickly! What was a really stressful day was made so much better. Really appreciate the fact that fixed it and was so nice because I know the feeling of having someone walk into your work right before you are about to leave.

This place is THE BEST and it has been for years. They are always attentive and fast and get me back on the road better than before. Every time I go to the Tarrytown Texaco, the staff is just the absolute best. I just went in to get air for my tires and gas and a young man named Quentin noticed that my air valve on the problem tire seemed off and replaced it in under 4 mins. I've been there before for mystery smells (turned out it was a plastic bag I had driven over that got caught and was melting on my exhaust pipe under the car) and battery replacement and the staff always goes above and beyond to help. They're friendly, polite and super knowledgeable.I can't recommend this place enough to everyone I know. There's no reason to go anywhere else.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Battery

Paid 40 bucks for a flat repair. 20 for flat repair and 20 for labor. I went back a couple of hours later because the tire that was repaired ended up getting flat again. I asked if I could get my money back since the flat was still happening. Aiden said they couldn t give a refund since the service was still done. Yes the service was done but why pay $20 for a repair that isn t repaired.

Horrible service. Failed my car inspection and didn t tell me until I logged in at home to renew license. I called and they wouldn t tell me why. Drove back and they were extremely rude and threatening, and said that I needed to drive car longer to clear error code after a sensor was repaired by dealer.I felt very uncomfortable dealing with the abusive and rude workers at this location. I know they ve been in Tarrytown forever, but it s a different crew now. Avoid.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Went in for an inspection on my Subaru WRX, quick and friendly service with good prices. My only gripe was when the mechanic took my car to get inspected. Instead of driving the car around the lot to the service bay normally, he revved the car and drove it off hard for 4-5 minutes on streets behind the shop before returning it to the service bay. This may be normal procedure to drive the car but I don't really appreciate my car being treated in that way especially when I can't see what is happening. While nothing major may have happened, this is still completely unacceptable behavior. I do not recommend this shop and will not be taking my business there again.

Everyone at Tarrytown Texaco go above and beyond to ensure my vehicle is taken care of and that I am comfortable with what they are doing all along the process. They are highly skilled and detailed with automative repairs. Their customer service is the highest in Austin. I have used them for years and would not go anywhere else. They work o my vehicle as though they are workiing on their own vehicle or a family members of their own. They provide superior service keeping value in mind.Service: Electrical

I have a fleet of cars and this is the only place I trust to work on my vehicles. They have honest service and never try to sell you on bogus repairs. They do a great job in a timely manner and their prices are cheaper than the stealership. The workers are knowledgeable and courteous and provide an entertaining environment to hang out while they tend to your car. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Neither should you!

Slow leak in tire fixed 12/15/21. Almost scared to make it home before I found them. A+, excellent service. Compelled to tip the guy I was so happy!

Customer Service is wonderful... A REAL old fashioned Texaco... with bays and mechanics and car wash, comfortable waiting area.... it is the real deal in West Austin. This reliable business and its great employees are part of the fabric that make living in Terrytown/West Austin neighborhood a beautiful thing.

I've been coming here for a few years now. They always do my vehicle inspection, and change my oil. They do a great job, and are very friendly. I've always been happy with their service.

Lee goes the extra mile to take care off his customer. He's driven customers home if they've had to drop the vehicle off, and spend them through when possible. Honest mechanic doesn't we are time with pointless repair work.

awesome service! went in thinking i just needed my freon replaced but ends up my whole a/c is messed up. they didn't charge me for the 45 minutes they spent inspecting my car and were very thorough explaining things. more expensive than other places but worth it!

Lightning fast flat repair. Didn't even need to get out of my car. Firestone tried to tell me it couldn't be patched and sell me a $600 tire! Never again Firestone. I'm sticking with my boys in Tarrytown.

Met someone here to pick up an item. Got there early so I filled up. Felt like an outsider for sure. You can tell this is where those in the area go for gas because the attendant was going above and beyond for a select few locals. Others were treated like ghosts. Won't be spending any more money there.

Took in my car today for a quick inspection. Little did I know that I would get a bunch of laughs out of it too. There is one guy there that could be a stand up comic. Plus, they got the inspection done in under 15 min. Highly rec

Your down to earth local shop perfect for inspection and small problems like flat tires, dead battery, etc. These guys are so fast and charge you a fair price. There were times when it was literally ten minutes in and out for me! Just be sure to come early to beat the crowd. :)

Owned and managed for years by Neal (with help from his dad, JD), now owned by Neal's son Ross Newberry this Texaco is wonderful. JD owned Tarrytown Pharmacy for many years the retired to the Texaco with Neal where they carried on the tradition of hiring local teens to work at the station as they had at the Pharmacy. They have full service as well as self serve and a car wash. This "old school" station even does repairs!! I HIGHLY recommend Tarrytown Texaco.

Honest. Fast. Courteous. Been there for a few things, damaged tire, state inspection, etc. Always very professional. Nice to have a place you can trust.

The kind people at Tarrytown Texaco help me to be sure my vehicle is in good shape for traveling. I have gone there since the 1980s and I really appreciate them.
