We received excellent service at Swedish Auto. We gave this car our son for graduation and it had sat without being driven since the pandemic of 2020 so when it was time for him to drive it we couldn't even get it started. We called several other mechanics to help us get it started and they brushed us off due to the age of our vehicle (2002 Volvo) only Swedish agreed to help. The car is now running fantastically and we are grateful of the care and patience Pegah provided. That is the definition of excellent service.

Swedish Auto is fantastic they responded same day with a quote, were able to take my XC90 the next day to replace the evaporator and fuel injectors, all while being hundreds less than the Volvo dealership. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We can t say enough good things about the team at Swedish Auto Services in North Austin. Super professional, HONEST, friendly, fast, and neighborly. We bought a used Volvo 2008 S80 a year ago and they have been truly amazing to us!! They never gouge us on prices, they tell us the truth and best options available, and are always happy to see us as neighbors. We have 100% faith in their abilities and guidance on how to get the longest life out of our Volvo. 5+++ stars for overall quality of service and turnaround time. We re so lucky and grateful to have a specialty Volvo/Saab Swedish auto team in our area. Try them first before going anywhere else! They re the best!! Amazing! Volvo V90 - I dropped in with a side view mirror hanging on with tape... My guy at Volvo told me it was going to start at $1500. Swedish Auto Service fixed it in seconds for free. Friendly and efficient. Can't recommend them enough.

My secondary battery was failing, and the wait to get an appointment at the dealership was 6 weeks out... Swedish Auto Service got me in the next day and had it replaced in under an hour. I'm definitely coming here from now on!

Pegah and his team are fair, reliable and accurate with their work. Swedish Auto made arrangements for inbound towing and after-hours pickup (thanks). I have a 2006 Volvo XC90 that needed pretty much everything. I did some of the heavy lifting, then they finished the job AND fixed some of my mistakes. They are a great resource in the needed space of Volvo-specialty repair (speaking from experience). Our Volvo had a service engine light activate. The dealer could not get us in to check it for over 3 weeks, so I started looking for another local option. Swedish Auto Service was able to check out the car the same day I called and have it repaired the next day after parts arrived. Very prompt communication about the repair and a fair price. Quick, perfect service. They explained my repair options before I did any work, told me the cost, and then let me work out of their office while they made their repairs. Car is running better now than when I purchased it.

Amazing guys, so helpful!! Great service!!! A little on the expensive side though. If price were a bit more affordable they would be the definite perfect Car shop...but overall still LOVE them!

After spending thousands on misdiagnosis and unsatisfactory work at the volvo dealership in temple we found Swedish auto and I couldn t be happier with the quality of service we receive. Swedish Auto always does a great job and is very communicative. They are fair priced and can always get us in quickly. Great customer service from start to finish, regret not taking my Volvos here sooner.

We got an oil change on our Volvo in a small place close to home and they did not know what they were doing and we started having issues with our car. My husband found Swedish Auto Repair and they were able to get us in right away. Their after hours are very convenient and Pegah called us the next day letting us know what was wrong with our car. The price was reasonable and they were very communicative and honest. We had our car back after one day completely repaired. We live in Dripping Springs but will keep making the drive up north for our oil changes and car maintenance because their great service!Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change

I do not write reviews much unless the business left a wonderful experience in my life. As cheesy as it sounds! Swedish auto service is outstanding! The technicians really know what they are doing and they were kind about it. Super professional and they let you know what needs to be taken care of before it triggers other problems. Really wonderful local business that is not owned by a corporate. They care about people and that is what I look for. I will come back many times and I will recommend it. Great service. I did my own brake job using subpar parts from Autozone. They diagnosed why my brakes were still vibrating when stopping for free. Then later did the job. Brakes are working great again. Highly recommend.Service: Brake service & repairService: Brake service & repair

Bottom line up front: if your Volvo needs service in the Austin, TX area, there's no need to go anywhere else. Don't be fooled by the modest appearance of their shop...these guys are the best in the business!Details:Swedish Auto Service was recommended by a trusted friend (who also happens to be a first rate mechanic in his own right). They did not disappoint! From the first phone conversation, they began to build trust by listening carefully. They were able to get my wife's vehicle in for service the same day.They correctly diagnosed a fairly complicated problem, and the service writer went over the estimate with me in detail. There were no surprises. The price was fair for the specified services, and the vehicle was ready before the promised time.I have rarely dealt with such transparency, honesty, and professional service among auto technicians, and never has any other shop exceeded their superior level of service. Months later, the vehicle is running and driving perfectly.I'm not a professional mechanic, but I AM an engineer and total gear-head who does 90% of his own mechanical repairs and maintenance (cars, small engines, motorcycles, firearms, appliances, you name it), and I trust the folks at Swedish Auto Service. My daughter had car trouble- engine light came on- while visiting a friend in Austin (we live in Oklahoma). I found Swedish website and I sent a message on a Sunday morning asking for help. OSKOUI PEGAH immediately called me to let us know they would fix my daughter s car the next day and have it ready before she needed to leave to drive home. We were very impressed with the communication, the price of the repair, and friendly customer service. If I lived in Austin this is who I would take my Volvos to for maintenance and service.

Recently brought my S60 in for some pathology in the fuel management system. Able to bring the car in the same day I called and had it back with a new fuel filter sensor within 24 hours! Swedish Auto seemingly has changed management but the work was reliable, very speedy and thorough. Technicians were able to identify and head off another potential expensive repair with their screening as well. I have been a customer since 2013 and always been satisfied across different management. Definitely recommend if you have a Volvo in the Austin area.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Great experience! Will definitely be returning! I own a Volvo and have been happy going to the dealership, but service appointments lately need to be booked more than a month in advance. Updated feedback - Swedish Auto continues to be awesome, bent rim? No problem they can order for you! I continue to be impressed year after year with Swedish Auto Service. I ve taken my 2012 Volvo there since I moved to Austin in 2016 and they continue to exceed my expectations. Prior to a long unexpected road trip they got me in quickly and checked out everything to make sure I was road ready...thank goodness as I desperately needed new tires. It s a relief to have a well trusted team to entrust the maintenance and upkeep of my aging Volvo to. Thanks guys!

As a young woman, it is hard to find an auto shop that I know will treat me fairly and with respect. I had a great experience with Swedish Auto, they were fast and straight forward about the repairs needed. When I brought in my vehicle, they contacted me with updates about parts etc. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for a reliable mechanic in North Austin.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Brake service & repair

Had a great experience at Swedish auto. Brought my older Volvo for some routine maintenance and was not oversold on things I did not need. Work was done ahead of estimate. I had a discussion on the work and feel good that these guys can be trusted. Hoping to have a long successful relationship! I had my AC compressor, belts, and my engine mount fixed. They were very reasonable, communicative, and quick. I ll definitely be bringing my Volvo back for major repairs.

When I couldn t get into the Volvo dealership after a few days of smelling strong exhaust inside my car, I found this repair shop searching online. They got me in that day and fixed it with a new part the next day. Explained everything in a straightforward way and talked me through some helpful future maintenance for my aging vehicle. The guys at this place are excellent. Upon entering, the atmosphere was welcoming, clean and bright. They quickly gave me a concise, very easy to understand estimate for what needed repairing on my 2010 Volvo XC60. They were generous in their negotiations with me on a final price. More than fair and efficient. I appreciate their help so much. So glad to have found an honest, friendly mechanics for my foreign car that s close to my home
