I required an emergency exhaust replacement and they were able to get to me right away, had the parts in stock, and were reasonably priced. They did a great job and made sure everything lined up.

I needed my catalytic converter replaced. There was no wait and was out in what was probably less than 30 minutes. Very reasonable price for the job, and very nice older man running the place. (Just use google translate if you don't know Spanish )

They took my catalytic converter and said it was junk. They also welded a hole into my floor and to complete the package. The exhaust leak they didn't fix got worse through the whole in in the floor

Despite having a bit of a language barrier (my Spanish does not include mechanical vocabulary), I had a great experience here. The receptionist explained everything to me and made sure I got my car to the right mechanic for what was wrong with it. It was fixed the same day for a very reasonable price. Will be back if my car gives me trouble again.

Me and my husband got there and we were waiting and nobody came up to us mind u it was not busy at all, we were the only ones there. We seen a guy washing his car and keeped looking at us.So my husband had to walk up to him smh and ask about suspensions. So It says they do suspensions but when he asked they said they didn't. Why advertise something that you don't do save some people some time and take the things off, it's that SIMPLE.

really disappointed normally this place is quick and efficient but today There were 2 car a head of me which the employee informed me and I was fine with waiting but then the Employee went on to assist someone else and then was busy on the phone after that. Even though I had already been waiting the 2 customers before for my car inspection. Then went on when I asked what was going on and why I was being passed up. The young lady went on to being rude saying she was needed to take the call even though I am still waiting and she couldn't take a name and number. Then went further to say I was being rude and if I wanted to come back another time. I went on to say I have already been waiting all this time way would I come back if she would just do her job. please bring back the adult women and don't hire Kids if they are going to be so rude.

I had a y pipe installed on my truck from them, when I went to a different shop to install a muffler, they said that Rivera Y Pipe was hurting my engine and that they installed the wrong one. I will never pass by this shop again. I was a different y pipe and the guy installed the wrong one.

Had some exhaust work done great work only reason I gave it 4 stars it was a language Barrow that's it . But like I said the work I had done was great. Also the guy let me get up n close while the work was being done ask my opinion.

We pulled in at 500pm n had a rattle on our car after getting new tires, they diagnosed it right away, of course we needed new brakes. They were busy n still told us they could get our car fixed before they closed. The cost was really fair! They offered us a ride while we waited for our car to get done so we got our errand done while they worked on our car. At 7 pm our car was done. N the rattle was gone n our brakes were so much better than before. Only negative was the mechanic didn't explain much, but may be language barrier. They did great work. Suggestion the benches in front are kinda scary to sit on, need more sturdiness. I appreciate they got us taken care of last minute.

I tried to use this business BUT when I called at 11:45 to Rivera Auto after a google search to ask if they did vehicle inspections and if so how long is the wait? the person on the phone said they did inspections but they all go to lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 and a good time to come would be 1:30. I showed up at 1:25 went inside waited while the young lady finished up with a potential customer just to hear him say he would be back in an hour, she then got on a call with another potential customer finished with that call and finally waited on me (if that's what you want to call it) I told her I was there for an inspection, she proceeds to tell me she is eating her lunch and I will have to come back in an hour! lol I said I called you earlier and you said to come in at 1:30 so here I am, she says again to come back in an hour. First and foremost she literally turned down two customer so she could eat her lunch at 1:30 in the afternoon, second if you are going to eat your lunch put a sign on the door for customers to come back in an hour, thirdly do not tell your customers to come in at a certain time when you clearly are going to turn them away, and lastly clean your place up its ghetto as hell, AND get a qualified receptionist that knows a bit about customer service. I took a late lunch to run over there to get this done because she said to come in at 1:30! what a waste of my time!

If they could be bothered to answer the phone they wouldn't get a public reaming: Went for an inspection and oil change. 1) First forgot to do the oil change all together, then discovered later they put in way more oil than max. The entire stick - full to the top. 2) no air filter - left with no air filter in the vehicle. Thanks for attempting to destroy my vehicle by overfilling it with oil. I hope you at least removed the old oil first, hard to tell. 3) When it was time to check out - my vehicle was left conveniently running for me with the door open right next to the street for minutes where anyone could hop in and drive off ???!!! What? 4) Lobby has seating but is hot and filled with no less than 5 children treating like a living room as their parents work there. Awkward and hot.Cannot recommend - EVER.

We recently whent here to cut off some exhaust pipes and the mechanic was so helpful and did a awesome job, and the price was super reasonable, i truly recommended them..

We should of checked the reviews first. We took our truck in and they changed spark plugs, airfilter, and oil. They charged us over $600.00. Fine.. we paid for it. Two months later comes out to be they did not do the work they were suppose too. They are not truth full. Do not bring your vehical here. We are speaking from experience.

Would like to emphasize that I went to every mechanic in Austin including our so called prestigious AAMCO just so they could treat me racially (don t desire to mention the details too hurtful).I was referred to a mechanic that was closing shop while I was passing by therefore couldn t tend to me in my desperation but pointed me to a probable candidate which was Rivera s Welding.My car had been worked on and one mechanic after the other told me they couldn t figure out what was wrong with the car.Hundreds of dollars later it soon came to an end of losing money and time. Iam so glad already on two occasions Rivera s found the problems no other mechanic could figure out ....I drive all the way from Cedar Park just for this mechanic WHY? Not only are they competent but merciful in every sense of the way.The young lady in the front desk is not only young but knowledgeable and I commend them for their professionalism,accuracy and extremely fast service.I can never stress how grateful Iam to you all.Thank You all!!!Gloria

HORRIBLE! OWNER DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HIS BUSINESS! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I took my truck in on Friday December 23, 2016 to have a catalytic converter welded onto my driver side, upon driving 600 miles the truck began to give me problems, while out of town I took the truck to another muffler shop and they removed the catalytic converter, only to find out that the part that I had provided to Rivera Welding was not the part that I gave to the welder. The part numbers did not match, I did return to the shop with my receipts and serial numbers of the part that I had taken to the shop, They did not match. I did contract the police department and they did refer me to file a complaint. When I went to the shop they denied everything; even though we had the part number that should've been on the truck. It was $226.00 that I paid.

The woman is very friendly! Very fast. She is reasonable prices. Office is very clean as well as the restroom you don't see that a lot in shops.

Unfortunately I can't give this shop zero stars. I went to them because I had a stuck bolt on my brake rotor and asked them to help me zip it off with an air ratchet. This, mind you, is a two minute job... literally. The mechanic smiled at me, with his mouth full of crappy gold teeth, and said "Forty-five dollars." When I asked him if he was serious and why so much, he said "Gringo money. That's what it costs in gringo money." So I went to another non-racist shop and he removed the bolt in less than one minute and didn't charge me a penny. If you need GOOD work done by REAL MECHANICS, I suggest you go to Leonard's on South 1st.

they are theives. i took my car in for a brake job while everything else runs great. they broke the clutch then broke the transmission. it was a 4600 dollar brake job. dont ever bring your car here. dont even drive close because you will catch their disease. useless horrible people.i took my car and all of the parts they replaced to another shop and it was verified that the clutch was fine before they replaced it. they ran it without transmission fluid and destroyed the transmission.

These people drove my daughter's car off their lift, ruining her tires, when she went in for an inspection. The mechanic cussed at her, yelled at her, refused to give insurance info, and made my grandson cry. Do not do business with them.

Went to go get my Sons truck inspected but it failed because of the window tint.In other words I will always recommend anybody their cause they check everything. I myself will take my trucks their.

whatever you do, do not go to this shop. I took my car here for state inspection, they drove Ruff around popped my tire and refused to pay for it. He's horrible he screamed at me, and damaged my car.
