Stellar service, honest folks.I was having trouble finding a place that could service my camper van (too tall or too heavy) and called a bunch of places before Donco s tipped me off about this place.They gave me a quote upfront without me even having to ask for it and they took me in immediately, did quick work and didn t try to hustle me for anything I didn t need. In fact they refused to charge me for services I didn t actually need

Last weekend we were traveling through Austin in a rented U-haul. One of the tires on our trailer had a flat and this company sent their tech Jesse to assist us. Jesse arrived promptly, was friendly, and very professional. He introduced himself as soon as he arrived, and was happy to answer any questions we had. We let Jesse know we were really hoping to get to our destination by a certain time since we were trying to make an important event and Jesse worked diligently to get us back on the road in no time; and we were able to make our event. Thank You Jesse and Purcell!!

This review is overdue by a month or so..but deserved, so better late than never..I was in a rented RV for F1 race weekend and picked up a nail before I even hit the road to the track. The owner of the RV met me at Purcell and it was literally closing time...4:50pm.Hugo, the Store Manager and Jacob (the awesome tech, if that is the right word?) stayed a little over closing time to help me out.I had been to two other tire places in the previous 45 minutes, and they could not help me..but PURCELL did it!They helped me in a big way..repaired the tire, checked all the others just to be sure..and I was on my way.. not to mention they sent me with the most awesome parting gift..a neon pink coffee mug - much used over that weekend for sure!I don't own an RV, and I don't live near this location, BUT I would highly recommend them to ANYONE!!

I took my box truck here to have an alignment done, due to a severe vibration problem. It ended up being in the shop for nearly 2 weeks, due to understaffing. They ended up replacing two tires and all the ball joints in the front. $1500 later, truck drove WORSE than it did before the work. I took it back, convinced that it was just a poor wheel balance. Sure enough, balancing was off (again), but it never was fixed.Many months later, struggling to find someone to work on this truck and put it on a lift (too tall for most shops), I took it to the 4th shop, and the SHOCK ABSORBERS WERE BAD... unbelievable. The grommets on the top and bottom of the shocks were completely MISSING... how did they not catch this when they had it up on the lift?I'm truly SHOCKED that it was my shocks, but needless to say, this is why many guys just work on their own vehicles to begin with. I would have done these repairs myself, just didn't have a lift to work on it.Very dissatisfied.

Being a woman, mechanics tend to try and take advantage of my "knowledge". Little do they know, lol. The first thing I learned in trucking was all about tires. These guys here? I would recommend them to anyone. They did a fine job locating the nail and then the repairing of it's hole. If you're in the area, these are the guys to come to for tire repair.

Called these guys up to mount a tire for me, turns out it was too tall for my truck and without hesitation Hugo was able to find me a great deal on a new tire and Jacob was great with the timely install. They got me out of there in less than an hour, I will most definitely be going back!

Purcell repaired a master cylinder, changed the coolant, and installed a new battery for me. The service was great and timely. My only complaint is that they charged considerably more than retail for the battery. Oreilly's retail price is $200, and Purcell probably gets a discount, but they charged me $359 for the battery.

I am very pleased with the service from Purcell. Jake was out promptly, diagnosed the problem quickly and got it fixed it immediately. He is very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. I will not hesitate to call Purcell for all of my tire/wheel needs.

Our RV needed an alignment and this place was recommended by other RVrs. I drove out of our way to get here and since they don't take appointments, I was there at 8am. The manager (Terry?) was able to take me in on their already busy morning. Terry took RV for a ride couple of times and made adjustments as necessary.Tony, the alignment Tech aligned the front end, rotated front tires and also adjusted the T-Bar to fix problem.Alignment fixed! Thank you for your excellent service.

I had a screw in my tire, so I submitted a request online for an appointment. I called later that day because I wanted to move the appointment to an earlier date, and the gentleman I spoke to said to not use the online scheduling function and just call him moving forward - so FYI for those of you trying to use that online feature! But anyways, I came in the next morning, and even though they were extremely busy because they had just received a shipment of 150+ tires, they patched my tire within 20 minutes and had me out the door.Quick, quality service, and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend them!

I was very pleased by the warm atmosphere and cordial service from Purcell. They were efficient and prompt. They made sure my needs were taken care of in the time constraints I had. I enjoyed that I was able to support this local business and will definitely use them again in the future!

This team of people you have running this Tire service is OUTSTANDING !!! They offer very competitive prices for service and have a wide range of Services for your vehicle. Super nice atmosphere, very professional and I felt overall very comfortable having my car serviced. Out of all the places I could've gone I Picked this Purcell Tire Center because they are very appealing and it took no time at all the service my car. I'll be back and will tell everyone I know to give them a call. Thanks for Great service. goes a long way these days. People are Awesome Especially Mr. Terry Johnson. Very Professional.

Purcell does mechanical work on RVs, and I was getting a lot of front end vibration. Hugo and the team diagnosed it, checked everything, and found delaminated front tires and under pressure on the rears. The rig rides beautifully now. A+ work.

Great honest very professional guys !!! I thought I needed a new tire on my Cambry but they fixed the tire for 25 bucks! With very fast service especially considering the place was crowded.They also noticed my rear break light was out and said.. if you go get the part at O Reillys auto , we will put it on for FREE! GREAT SERVICE .. GREAT PEOPLE!!

Discovered a flat tire one day before leaving in a cross country trip. The folks at Purcell quickly sourced a matching tire and had it installed in no time. I appreciate their effort and fast service!!

Do NOT GO HERE. I'm not sure where all of the positive reviews come from - not only was that not my experience, but their store was almost vacant throughout the entire Friday that I was there getting service for my travel trailer. 1) I arrived at 7:20 a.m. but didn't leave until 3:00 2) They told me that it needed new bearings, which I approved. 3) It took hours for them to acquire the bearings and races. 4) I asked them repeatedly to measure the axle straightness, but it was only done after I asked them again when they said that they were "done" 5) It cost 50% more for the bearings than other quotes that I've (afterwards) gotten, 6) I asked them (several times) to quote a set of new Goodyear's for my truck, and their quote was 50% MORE than Goodyear's own online quote for a complete set balanced and mounted! I still have the quote. Now for the good part: When I got home, I needed to take off a tire on the trailer to access the wheel well to repair some road damage - they had completely stripped the threads on one of the bolts and lugs, which made it hugely difficult to remove. THEN, when the wheel was off the ground it rotated with a grinding noise and was difficult to turn (they had installed new bearing assemblies, but something is obviously wrong). I'm in process of contacting Purcell corporate, Goodyear, and the BBB.

Great customer service. I ordered tires for my RV and they arrived as promised. When I arrived to have them installed they were ready to go. I don't think I waited 5 minutes before they started on changing out the tires. Everybody was polite and professional. The took the extra steps to make sure no damage happened to my rig or my wheels. THey got finished a lot faster than I had planned for.I will be coming back to have my rig serviced again as they do general mechanical service on larger rigs. I was surprised with the service I received. RV dealerships are always "take a number and we'll get to you when we feel like it". Not these guys. They know I have places to be and things to do so they make it happen. Great place for service.

Got a flat on I35, and was able to limp the vehicle to Purcell. Staff was friendly and were able to get me back on the road in about 2-3 hours. Biggest downside was the price. Ended up paying over $250 for one tire. Looked online and the tire was marked up a solid $50 from what was available elsewhere. Mounting and balancing cost another $50 which is definitely pricier than other shops I've been to. Saw a review for J&J just a few feet from Purcell and out the door for a used tire and the mount and balance it was only $60. Would probably go there given the same situation again.All in all solid shop, and decent convenience given my situation.

I have been going to Purcell Tire for over 20 years and have received excellent service on my car, truck and motor home. All the employees work hard and they take pride in doing a good job. I have recommended them to family and friends and will continue to do so.

These guys did a great job. I had some handling problems with my c4500 bucket truck. I suspected the tires I had and side wall flex to be a big part if the problem. The technician took time to call and research and offer several solutions and advice. I bought a complete set of new tires and the problem is much Inproved. I had steer tires all the way around. I put on 2 steer tires in the front and 4 drive tires in the back. The handing seems much better. Thanks

A great place to buy regular tires. Call ahead and they will order what you want. They specialize in industrial truck tires, but they can get anything. Their tire techs are knowledgeable but because they serve a no nonsense pro clientele, they are very reliable. You won't be bothered by lines or salespeople. I bought Goodyear tires for my Lexus RX and Toyo tires for my Honda Accord on their recommendation. I could not be happier.

Great guys to work with. Luke took the time to come talk to me while I was waiting and get me pricing on other items I ll be needing in the future. He and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pricing is very competitive as well.

I had the worst experience today with Purcell tire. I called yesterday to inquire about getting all 10 tires on my semi balanced, I explained the problems I was having and they said they would be able to help. I was told the process would take 2 hours. When I arrived today I waited about an hour in their building with no ac because that was broke and then they were going to get started with the balance. They informed me about a possible problem with one of the tires but we were going to go ahead with the balance. All along the two guys in the shop were having a power struggle with each other in what to do. After another little while I was told they didn t have any weights to balance my tires the correct way and was told ( don t know what to say we can t do it) by one manager terry and the other manager in the shop just didn t say anything and just starred at me , now normally this wouldn t be a problem but with a CDL license you are limited on your hours for the day and waiting around and then being told they can t do it was just wrong, they are a commercial tire place and don t have weights to balance tires the correct way. I would not recommend going here if you want something done right!!!!!!! And not waste your time, there are other commercial tire places within a short distance I won t name them but you can google and they are close.

Had a flat on my superdump. They got me straight in and repaired the tire inside 30 min. Very nice guy at the service desk.Fast efficient and courteous.Excellent business practice

Took my semi to get a patch , took about 15 minutes. Guys are amazing great customer service .. I did scare them when I tried taking their wall down

Have been using these guys for a little over a year and they have been fair and honest every time I have done business with them. With this industry that is a rare find. I wouldn t do business with anyone else!! These guys are awesome!! Thank you so much Terry and Terry and the rest of the guys. Haven t met all of you yet but I will definitely get to know you all in the future!!!!
