I picked my car up today from Precision Auto Body shop in Austin Tx and it looks so fabulous !!! It looks like I just drove it off the showroom floor at the dealership !!!! My car was damaged by a pick up truck door that was slammed into the side of my car leaving paint and a dent. Precision has restored it to perfection !! The folks there were very friendly and professional and made it so easy to do business with them. I high recommend this shop and if I ever need body work again I will go back for sure. Thanks so much Precision Auto !!!

I recently had a fantastic experience with Precision Auto Body, and I couldn t be more impressed. Joyce, a truly compassionate and helpful sweetheart at Precision Auto Body, went above and beyond to assist my husband who encountered an issue while visiting Austin. Despite being miles away in El Paso, a simple phone call to Joyce set everything in motion.The technicians at Precision promptly addressed the window concern, and the owner took the time to provide my husband and his friend with a comprehensive tour of the shop. It s heartening to witness the sense of camaraderie in the automotive industry, and Precision truly exemplifies this spirit.Their professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile for any customer are commendable. By far the most incredible experience I've had with an automotive business!!I originally inquired through a car group on facebook asking who should I take my classic BMW to for repairs. After a couple days I was contacted by Michael stating that he works for this little shop who's owner worked for BMW North America and would absolutely love to work on my car.He was adamant about stopping by and looking at the vehicle in person if I didn't mind. What happened next blew my mind...Not only Michael, but the owner came to see the vehicle in person. His analysis was in depth and informative, answering every question and calming all my reservations. I agreed to do business with this shop based on my initial impression.During the process, Rey and Michael both stayed in touch keeping me informed the entire time through the entire process.The vehicle was done right, instead of right now... I can't stress enough- Precision Auto Body will have my business and my families business for life.

Took my car here after a major hailstorm, and while it took an incredibly long time for my car to be fully restored (parts on backorder), Precision did their best to make it right. Joyce running their front desk is an angel.

I took my Dodge Challenger in to repair a dent in my roof, and I was on a time crunch to get this repaired before I move to a new city. Precision Auto not only finished my repairs within a week, but they also fully detailed the interior and cleaned the exterior. Communication throughout the process was clear via phone updates, both text and calls. 10/10 would recommend Precision Auto to anyone looking for a reliable and fast repair shop!

This family owned business has more experience in body shop and repair than anyone else in town based on my personal experience. I trust them with my exotic sports cars and they are exceptional with their work. I cannot recommend Rey and his family enough. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE IF YOU WANT REPAIRS DONE PROPERLY. As someone who works in a similar industry (motorcycles) I can say with confidence that this is not the shop to take your car to. Literally the worst experience I have ever had. Told the parts would only take a few days and repair estimate said 14 days. After a total of 25 days I finally managed to get them to actually work on my car. This was after weeks of sending emails with no response and no updates. I picked up the car at night so couldn't see all of the problems. Replacement bumper has marks all over that won't buff out, parking sensors don't work, left side of bumper hangs slightly due to improper installation. I sent 3 more emails following this asking for a solution. They didn't respond until I threatened to contact insurance about it. They responded with a shocking email. They told me they hadn't even finished the supplement for insurance. No contact, no responses, trash work, lies, and now no responses again. I have asked for money back to compensate or for them to actually do the work properly and they will not reply. This place is a classic insurance scam center. Inflated estimates for things that aren't actually damaged and amateur technicians who have no idea what they are doing. Literally every single thing this shop does is what you do not want to do. Disgusting behavior from the owner who will promise you everything and delivery absolutely nothing. I had a better experience with a low end Geico recommended shop. This place is complete garbage.

My car was stolen and when we got it back we had no idea who to take it to because we are new to Austin, TX. I was recommended to Precision Auto Body by a friend in the car business. Boy was he on point! These guys made sure my car was repaired the RIGHT WAY! Rey the owner, Eric our service advisor, and everyone we came in contact with was fantastic. My husband and I both come from the car business and we noticed right away that the repairs made were done by experts. Our 2020 Chevy Blazer looked brand new like the day I drove it off the lot!!! They fought with our insurance company to make sure they got OEM parts where it mattered. Their work is warrantied as well. I hope no one is ever put in the situation we were, but if your vehicle is ever stolen (and recovered, thank God ours was found) these guys will treat you right!!! I was impressed by how smooth the whole process was. Great customer service , I would give 100/10. They had excellent communication through out the process and my repairs took only a couple days and they did a perfect job. Joyce reassured me that they would take good care of my car and she also helped me with the third party insurance. The process took lesser time than I anticipated and I'm really happy I decided to go to Precision auto body. I had heard great things and reviews and they were all 200% correct . My car was even cleaned and detailed and looks as good as brand new.

I just got my car back from Precision Auto Body and they did an amazing job! I've never been in a wreck and Rey was super helpful in telling me what to get done and how to do it (dealing with insurance/police department, etc.)! They did a great job on the exterior of my car and even gave me periodic updates on how the repairs were going. The customer service was amazing and Joyce handled all issues with the insurance and rental car service with ease. I highly recommend taking your car here, they make the annoyance of car trouble a little less stressful!

Precision Auto Body of Austin is the only body shop I'll ever use. They took care of me and my 2009 Subaru Outback like family. They have the most skilled, professional and ethical staff of practically any business of any type I've encountered. They also had my back in one of the most stressful car repair situations I could imagine.Precision staff, in a team effort, stepped up in the most incredible way, and showed that their actions matched their claims about being "passionate about customer service". They are all knowledgeable, patient, approachable and enthusiastic about their jobs. Rey Hernandez, the owner, sets the standards for his staff, lets them do their jobs, but steps in wherever is needed to back them up.Joyce, at the customer service desk, took the initiative on all fronts and coordinated the towing charges, rental car company schedule, and maintained contact with the insurance company on the repair vs. total/salvage determination. She knows the rules in dealing with these entities, and made the contacts to ensure they followed through. She also contacted Enterprise car rental to assure them my car was still on their shop, awaiting consensus on repairs. Precision worked with Enterprise, which meant I was never called to return the car or start paying for the rental myself. All the while, the insurance company never returned my calls or e-mails, about any aspect of my claim. By default, Precision became the liaison between me and the insurer. Eventually the insurers paid for the entire 30-day rental.Last, but not least, Precision staff facilitated negotiations on the insurance company s hasty decision to total the car and take it for salvage. Precision s folks provided repair options that the insurance company had not been focusing on, and I kept my car, which the shop wizards repaired beyond my expectations.What can you say about folks like this? Their customers are not numbers, but people. They see their company mission as a challenge to cut through red tape and get the job done right, and they have the motivation, skills and ethics to follow through. No wonder one review site calls them one of the 10 Best Body Shops in Austin. I'd put them at #1.

This shop is great. They are honest and trust-worthy, friendly, and very reasonably priced. I took my BMW there about 3 times, and each time it was an actual pleasure to do business with them. Owner introduced himself to me on my first visit, Micheal was very informative about any issues I had with my vehicle, and Joyce at the front desk was always friendly. I always felt my vehicle was in good hands with them and that I could trust them. When there was one thing they couldn't do (I believe they are mostly a body shop, instead of full-service), they recommended another trust-worthy shop they work with and which turned out to be great as well. I fully recommend this shop.

I have used Precision twice this year because of their attention to detail in bringing my son s car back to its new condition. I am truly amazed at their customer service. Joyce always makes sure everything is communicated with me and that everything is properly done with insurance etc. I m in Dallas and Joyce has taken great care of my son. She made sure it was seamless to get the rental car and return it. It was such a stress relief for him. He also needed the car in 2 weeks since he was coming home for Christmas and it was completed. First time I have ever received calls from the technician updating us on the progress. I will always use Precision to repair my son s car.

Very impressed with the service and the quality of the work Precision was able to provide. They were on my side throughout the whole process, keeping tabs on my repair and a supplement down the line, and only used OEM parts. They were always willing to keep me updated on the status of my repair, and were even kind enough to let me store my car while I was on a long trip. Best of all, everyone who works here is genuinely nice and friendly, and oriented toward great customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Thank you Precision Auto for such a great experience. From having my vehicle towed in to working directly with the insurance co. they made the repair process as smooth and easy as possible. Communications from Joyce were proactive and regular. When it came time to collect my vehicle I was thrilled with the quality of the work as they returned my vehicle to its prior condition. Would absolutely not hesitate to send a vehicle their way!

The team at precision is absolutely stellar. While my vehicle was in their care, they took the time to continuously update me on progress and any potential setbacks going on with the repair. Despite a massive hit, my car looks just as good if not better than when I purchased it. While I hope that I never have to take my car to a body shop again, this would be the only place I d trust to get work done.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I cannot recommend this body shop enough. They've helped me out twice. First, with a dented bumper and then with replacing my headlights. Super friendly, fast, and most importantly affordable. I shopped around and they were by far the best value. I don't know much about cars and I'm so reassured there's a local shop that won't take advantage of me. I think part of it is that they're independent (not part of a chain) and so they have more flexibility to focus on quality and not quantity of customers in and out. It has been my pleasure to have experience with the wonderful folks at Precision Auto Body on three separate occasions for three different things. In all my interactions, I was listened to, and given very exacting estimates. Joyce in the office is a treasure and will take excellent care of you with all the paperwork, insurance, or even getting a ride.I have had some engine work done here that is now over a year old and my car is running like a top. It was time consuming labor and they kept my costs as low as possible.I had to have body work done after I was sideswiped in a parking lot. I love my car and it was stressful to hear what had to be done. However, you can not even tell the car was wounded. The paint job matches the old painT flawlessly and my car is 12 years old! These guys are masters at their craft, and they truly care about you and your car.Recently, I went by because the driver side arm rest of my car had broken off. The little plastic parts holding it on and the design of the door handle all playing the role in this disaster. The boys took a look at it. A new arm rest was going to cost several hundred dollars, but, the shop boys put on their thinking caps and came up with an incredible solution that will last as long as I keep the car and did not charge me for the fix.As I said, these people are home town gold. I highly recommend their work and their company. It s nice to know there are still people who believe in honesty and customer service!!Service: Painting

Unfortunately, my car was rear-ended twice in a year. The folks at Precision Auto Body restored it both times to as-new condition. They do great quality work and are good people. If your car needs body repair, go here (and don't miss all the rare, high-end, sports cars being refurbished but know they will treat whatever car you bring in as important as the rarest Ferrari, Lambo, or Porsche).

Precision Auto Body provided excellent, professional, & timely service while working through a difficult insurance claim that I was involved in earlier this year. Despite the car being originally deemed "totaled", Precision went above and beyond to figure out a way to safely repair the damage while staying within the insurance limits and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. I am so grateful for a local auto body shop that is looking out for their customers. If I do have any future body repairs, I will certainly return to Precision!

Thank you!!!!!! PRECISION AUTO BODY!! I'm glad I came across this shop by accident. The shop has an awesome team. We are not perfect but Rey and his crew made sure my truck was perfect when I picked it up. My Insurance company wanted to put recondition and used parts on my 2012 Ram 2500 diesel truck. After all the money insurance companies charge, this was an absolute ripoff.After speaking with Rey, I felt secured about my truck specially knowing that they are Factory RAM Certified!! All my damaged parts where replaced with original NEW! When I picked up my truck, David made sure that for any reason I have any concerns to contact them!! By far, I highly recommend Precision Auto Body.

All goals achieved beyond expectation, yes, this is an A+ shop.I had to repair my car after a car accident.They deal with the insurance company for me.They repair it quickly to satisfy my schedule.They look into all the detail and the quality is excellent.They are just like your family.My car looks better than the condition when I first bought it.Just come here if your car has something to be fixed.

Best Auto Body In Austin, TX!! Highly recommend!! Rey s team did an excellent job!! I took in my 2018 Honda Civic for a front end repair, you can t even tell it was repaired. They handled the insurance company from start to finish, Great Service!

I cannot speak enough about the attention to detail Phillip and his crew gave to my repairs. Probably the most detail any company has ever given me. Two days after buying a car I got rearended (person bumped into me going only a few mph). The damage wasn't severe but I needed a new bumper and the rear panel had to be repainted. Phillip knew I wanted it to look brand new... so he demanded that Subaru provide a part that was 100% free of any small blemish. He took the time to call me to explain that Subaru provided a black plastic part that had a 1 centimeter blemish (very very minor) and asked me if I wanted Subaru to send a different part. I said sure because I wasn't in a hurry. The part ended up perfect. Nobody else would have bothered to get a different part - which is what makes this company so great.Next came the paint. Phillip and his team noticed that the official silver paint Subaru prescribes does not perfectly match with the rest of the car. He explained to me that a Subaru Outback bumper is not made of steel like the rest of the car panels. Therefore, the bumper will end up with an ever-so-slightly different color hue when you apply the same exact paint as the rest of the car. Almost nobody would ever tell a difference but Phillip did. He spoke directly with the Subaru paint specialists and worked out a formula to match the bumber 100% perfectly with the rest of the car panels. The end result was a paint that matched better than a brand new car. That attention to detail is incredible. Lastly, they did all this in a few days. Dropped it off on a Thursday picked it up on Monday.Longest review I've ever left - sorry. I'm writing this nearly a year after they fixed my car because I need to clear my conscience. I often think back about how great of a service they provided and I feel bad for not letting others know how legit Precision Auto is. So there you have it.
