I stopped by today 7.30.23 around 3:30 ish. I will give them one star because one employee who was helping another customer outside was helpful telling me the other employee could help with testing my battery. Ernesto asked me what he could help me with, I said the guy outside aid you could test my battery. Ernesto responds with he can help you when he s done. The guy comes in and hears him and responds you can help her, I m still helping the other customer. Ernesto was reluctant to assist, maybe because it was too hot outside and didn t want to do the job. He looked up the car make and model 2019 Subaru Outback 3.6 and said yes we have it but we can t install it because it needs a specialize person to change it out. Long story short I went to Advance automotive and Ethan the young man working there I m guessing is a Subaru battery installer specialist. He had no problem installing the new battery. I think Ernesto was not wanting to be outside. You don t want my money I ll go elsewhere.

Needed a new battery and they installed a new one and had me on my way within 20 minutes. Christopher was absolutely fantastic and very helpful. Will definitely be here again.

Bought a battery two years ago and O reilly s gave me a 3 year warranty on it. It died on thanksgiving and O reillys wasn t close enough to go swap it out. I had to buy a new one from one of their competitors. When I went to O reillys later with the old battery and the receipt for the new one, they actually honored it and paid me back for my original purchase 2 years prior. O reillys has won my business for years to come! What an honorable and generous company!! Good customer service is hard to come by these days but I hope to pay O reillys back with my business for a long time!!

Overall I had a great experience and big props to James for his customer support and great attitude. The only reason I give this 4 instead of 5 stars is that they were going to make me pay to have someone else install my car battery, despite an employee telling me they would do it for free. I had to explain a few times before they agreed. In the end, James came over and was happy to help me out and I'm appreciative of that, especially considering how hot it is outside!

I stopped by to have the battery on my truck checked. James Hernandez the store manager greeted me when I walked in and provided me with exceptional service. Diagnosed my battery and provided the options I needed to have it replaced. Great location and I recommend coming here for your car needs.

Went in today to replace a headlight bulb since they offer free installation if you buy the part from them. While the part was more expensive than elsewhere, the service was OUTSTANDING! Let me tell you, this was not an easy task. Four employees were in the parking lot with me in the pouring rain and they would not quit till they installed it properly. It took about an hour but we got the job done and each of them were a delight to work with while we tried to figure out the assembly and connection issues. Shout out to the manger who was finally able to install the bulb, I ll definitely be coming to this location for any future auto part needs!

I recently moved and my truck battery died.I lost the receipt for that battery that was still under warranty, and Maryland went above and beyond to help me find the receipt number in her stores system so I could get it exchanged at a different location.Super helpful and very friendly!!!Thank you so much Maryland you're a life saver!

Christoper here is very rude. I walked up to the counter mind you no one is there he not speaking to anyone he tells me he s dealing with customer and I say sry I didn t know and I turn back around and he s making rude faces at me. Someone woke up in wrong side of the bed.

A little slow. Walked in with a bad starter that was under warranty. Took a while for them to figure out how to test it. Then they tested it 3 times. Very frustrating because my car was stuck in a parking lot a few blocks away. We were trying to get it fixed so I could get back on the road before the storms came through. Finally got out of there and got my car fixed and got back on the road right as it started to rain. Close call. I spent more time in the store than I did replacing the part. Special thanks to Chandlers Diesel for helping me that day.

Went to o'Reilly on manchaca and slaughter needed a battery and other parts. Spoke with the gentleman there james and he was very helpful an got me everything I needed to get diy project done. Thank you, definitely going back to this location.

Dude was so rude behind the counter. I came in because I needed a battery and he told me they had one but he told me that he wouldn't be replacing it for me bc it was their policy not too and plus there was only 3 people working. I was the only customer and it was almost 8pm.. I told him I had been helped 3 years ago with needing my battery changed with no problem. He told me no. So I called Advanced Auto Parts, they had the battery I needed AND helped me change it with no hesitation.

5 stars for Gina, she was very sweet and nice in helping me install my battery. She went above and beyond honestly if she wasn't there to help me I probably would of went somewhere else the other guy in the store was very rude. But thanks to her I have a new battery. Gina rocks

New store manager james young guy doesn t know anything in his inventory can t even find part history or know which products he carries . Corporate needs to send him back to training or move him down to bring the old managers they had back that actually knows their stores.

Thank you Sebastian!! My car broke down and I needed a specific tool to fix it. Even though I walked in at 10:00p on the dot (time they close) he did not refuse me service and got me the tool I needed with a smile. I would not have been able to do the job without it. This is exceptional customer service. Many thanks and the company is lucky to have him!

Been coming here for years, everyone is so helpful from finding items in the store to recommending a mechanic to installing wipers or installing batteries.Super easy processing of returns regardless which store you go to. O'Reilly Auto Parts is the only auto parts store I will go to and I will even drive out of my way to go to the closet location.

I needed to test my battery because I knew it was loosing juice and had corrosion. After going to Ford for a recall on all my door latches, they put a paste/puddy substance all over one of the connecters without telling me. Turns out that connecter was snapping in half, hence the paste. It totally broke off with barely a touch of the wrench. The guys at O'Reilly were awesome and were able to find a battery cable connecter that works for a 2015 Ford Fiesta in store. The store was closed by now, but they saved my butt and were happy to get me on the road home.

INCREDIBLE SERVICE RIGHT ON THE SPOT. THE AUTOZONE NEXT TO THEM COULDNT GIVE ME THE SERVICE I NEEDED BUT O'REILLY SURE DID. APPRECIATE YOU GUYS. I WILL USE THIS STORE WHEN I COME BACK

I had to get my battery checked and diagnosed, I went in and they were right there to help me out. Richard was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose my battery and replace it in a very timely manner. Thank you!!

Evreryone there has a great attitude and is knowledgeable. I have never gotten the wrong part, and thats more than i can say for their competition. The manager Juan is ready to help make sure your satisfied before you leave. Definitely the first place I go when I need auto parts.

All I needed was a car battery, which they had in stock, but since they were understaffed they refused to help me. Despite the fact that I was the only one in the store and the other emplyoee was just standing around cleaning stuff. When my aunt asked if they could help us install it he rudely replied "didn't you hear me, were understaffed" Went to advanced auto parts for better service and a easy transaction. I suggest you do the same.

I have gone to this location many times and have never had an issue. I went in yesterday, 12/15 to have my battery tested. The gentlemen (guy in arm sling) at the counter didn't even respond when I asked and just grabbed the equipment he needed and proceeded to go outside. I could not get my hood unlatched and asked if he could help me. He replied "NO" so I said ok nevermind and he just turned around and walked back in. It's obvious that he didn't want to help me in the first place. I went next door to Autozone and the guy there came out and opened my hood and tested my battery with no issues. I always go to O'Reilly's as they are cheaper than Auto Zone, but once I found out my battery was bad I purchased one from Auto Zone because of the negative experience at your store. Maybe you all have a "no touching people's hood policy" for COVID and if he would have told me that I would have understood. I was surprised by my interaction with him as I have come in many times and he has assisted me with no issues.

Ernesto was the best! I had trouble finding a receipt for a battery warranty and he was patient, understanding and eventually helped to resolve the issue. I appreciate his demonstration that customers come first!

Best auto part store in Austin. Juan really knows his parts and the manager Rich takes care of his customers at all costs. The delivery drivers are also great. If you want great parts, great selection, and great customer service, then this is your place.

They may not always have every part, but if not they get it ordered, usually in the next day. People working there are always helpful and friendly. And they have a good selection of other automotive accessories and products.

Incredible service above board selection a little bit of an accelerated price over the competitors but the aforementioned treatment of customer client relations is Paramount in this age where brick and mortar stores are becoming a thing of the past the way that you're representatives of the company interact with the public is going to be a defining paradigm in the months and years to come, I like how I was treated I would go back I would make your prices more competitive but I do understand data and I understand fuel costs fluctuations in markets, and my favorite incidentals, all with all that said O'Reilly Auto parts is my go-to place from now on and I can only imagine that they have an online presence I just haven't had to use it yet thank you, enjoyed my visit and I was in a hurry the manager came out and installed my windshield wiper awesome service
