My girlfriend needed a side mirror replaced and some bumper damage on her 2011 corolla. We were expecting a quote of more than 1k - I was even quoted 500-600 just for the side mirror by another shop!Nova was incredibly friendly and quoted us far far lower, and even generously charged us less than the original quote when it was all said and done. They were transparent about timeline and communication was easy and very good.This is an auto shop that *actually* tries to save you money.If I ever need car repairs this is 100% the shop I will go to.

Nova did an excellent job repairing my Prius. It looks like a brand new car. Their customer service was spectacular. They had the car repaired in a short time. They washed the car and got rid of a stain in the front seat. They repaired something that had been bothering me for a long time. I d use them again in a heartbeat.

I had such a good experience with Nova. Honest, prompt, and top-notch service. I went to Nova to fix scratches on my bumper and they were able to provided me with multiple options within varying cost ranges. They were never pushy throughout the process and were genuinely looking out for our interests and budget. We scheduled a day for repairs, received a reminder call the day before, and everything was repaired same day.

This shop did some good quality work for me back in 2020, on my Nissan Altima. They are honest good people and they had my car out in just a few days. I love locally owned businesses,and I always recommend this body shop.

Really good place! Friendly, communicative, and fixed my 9 year old Mazda 3 up like new after I embarrassingly rear-ended someone (I'm still a new driver, but have since then learned how hard to press my brakes...).Was able to get an estimate on the spot, along with my hood tied down for free, and I was surprised to see it was HALF of what a larger body shop had estimated. They even gave me a discounted price at the end of repair, and were understanding when I had to split payment across 2 days due to my card acting up. I'm a college kid, so this was kind of a big deal.I'd noticed driving home that the tire pressure warning light came on, and later that night that both front lights were completely out (this was due to a blown fuse). I texted Hoan about this, and the next time I came in to finish up payment I was able to get both fixed up without any fees.I would highly recommend this place if you want friendly, professional service that won't drain your entire bank account because you didn't sign up for collision coverage.Services: Tires, Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim, Air conditioning

Being relatively new to Austin, I found myself in a bit of a panic when I unexpectedly damaged my car and urgently needed to find a trustworthy body shop. I reached out to a few different body shops to get quotes. Nova Body Shop was by far the best in terms of service, trustworthiness, and pricing.I can t express how thankful I am to Nova for fitting me into their schedule and quickly repairing my car. I will be coming back to Nova for all future body shop needs and highly recommend this place to anybody looking to get their car fixed. This is the body shop you re looking for! They are honest, knowledgeable, and quick.

I highly recommend Nova Body Shop. I worked with Anh Phan to get some buffing done on my truck. He was incredibly professional and make my truck look great. Overall, it was a great experience.

Nova Body shop was so great and getting the bumper fixed on my daughter's car. They were the best priced and quickest to get her car in and worked on. They worked with us on my travel issues and my daughter's work schedule and got the work done quickly and with quality. Very good at communicating status also.

Amazing place! The staff are super informative and kind. Shoutout for Anh he helped me a lot and was super thorough with the process. The service was faster than a McDonald drive thru so get your car in there!

Great experience with Nova auto parts. Anh was thorough with explaining the work that would be done and gave an honest and fair quote. When they had to order new brackets, they didn t charge extra. These guys are honest and never felt like I was being manipulated into having to spend more money. Went the extra mile with cleaning the interior of my car and touching up paint which was complimentary and didn t even ask for! Would recommend to anyone looking to get work on their car. I have used this Body Shop several times in the past 12 years, I am always amazed and the great job they do , my car looks like it's new again. Their focus and attention to detail is always on point, they even have given me a jar of my car's paint color to help with scratches marks that could happen to your vehicle. I needed body work after scraping my car doors against a parking pole and was looking for a reasonable quote because I was paying out of pocket. Nova was HALF the cost of the other two shops, did an excellent and fast job, and was super pleasant to deal with. They're also a local family-owned business that has been offering Austin great service for decades - the dad opened the shop after graduating from UT in the 70s.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

These guys saved me. I cannot thank them enough. So here's my story:I had some damage to the front of my car and some bad dings on the doors. It was barely drive-able and made such a ruckus I was scared to go faster than 20 mph. I had been quoted *astronomical* numbers every shop I visited and as a service industry worker it was entirely impossible to pay. So my roommate recommended Luu's who in turn recommended me Nova for body repair.I rolled into Nova and right off the bat the owners/managers seemed real and genuine. They took some photos and began compiling an estimate, and while doing so, began fixing up my car for free! Like, not repairs, but just using wire to keep the dangling bits in place and stopping the scraping. I now could drive full speed without worrying! This is important later. Afterwards, the estimate they gave was not only reasonable, but a very generous deal. I was very relieved.The problem was this was in the midst of the first Covid lockdown. I was soon furloughed from my job (which I had been able to walk to) and now I had to look for a new job. Thank you Nova for those quick fixes because I was able to drive to a new temp job across town and keep my self afloat during this whole Covid nightmare. Without that I dunno what I would have done. (note: this is from when the photo of my car's damage comes from)Now, because of all this Covid trouble, I was unable to return for repairs until several months later when I felt financially confident. It took awhile, the body even started to rust. When I did return, they still had all my photos and paperwork on file. In five minutes I had it dropped off and good to go.When I returned, I was prepared to spend so much more than the estimate due to things like rust. But these guys stuck to the estimate! I cannot express my gratitude for these guys. They made a very hard couple of months so much easier. I had made no agreements, no payments, nothing that first visit and they still took time out of their busy day to tidy up the damage so I could get home safe, and thus, was able to work the next several months until I could come back and get it actually repaired. And the job they did was flawless, you would have never thought it had ever been damaged at all. Just look at the photo, it's flawless! My roommate and I agree: good local guys like this keep the North Austin community alive. Thank you again, Nova!

Was in a T-bone accident and Nova did a great job fixing my car. They were able to find used car doors that matched my current car color to help me save money. Everyone in the office is very friendly and took great care of me. Would highly recommend. There s also a cute little beagle who greets you.

I cannot say enough positive things about Hoan and the team at Nova. They were able to look at my car same day without an appointment, and a week later, my car is all fixed and good as new! Some other shops couldn't even see me for an estimate for another week. Hoan also really took the time to show me what was fixable on my car and what actually needed to be replaced. He also walked me through so many options in terms of price points for parts, and explained why he recommended what he did. Everything was so transparent, and he really made sure I understood the situation with my car. The shop even painted and prepped my new bumper in advance, so I was only without my car for about four hours while they replaced my bumper! They even gave me a little bottle of touch up paint to take home. I am truly beyond impressed with the service here, not to mention their estimate came in at $400-$600 less than other shops in town. Cannot recommend Nova enough!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

never never go will regretIt's a completely different amount from what I said in the first place.A body shop you should never go toIt's a really bad body shop that says you did a good job at first and then charges more money for taking a lot of time.... I never go there.*Reviews from past customers*My friend, a foreign PhD student, watched them with on his car for 2.5 hours. Nova then charged him for 8.2 hours of work. My friend is too polite and she to say anything so he just left, but he asked me to help him understand.I called Nova on his behalf and they had nothing but bad excuses and I get the feeling they make a habit of cheating and overcharging whomever they can.*Reviews from past customers*I will rate 0 star if I can! Here is my experience:I need to change the front bumper after bumping another car when I almost stopped at the crossing last week. I want to try Nova because of the reviews on Yelp and Google. I came by and they did a very quick estimate for total $700, which was really reasonable. However, after my insurance contracting them, they increased the ground total to $2200! They added a long list of unnecessary parts and MUCH more labor, which had nothing to do with mechanical issues and was never mentioned in my first visit! I was so angry that I took back my car before they started working and went directly to GP1 collision center, the body shop of Round Rock Nissan. Can you believe that the dealer's estimate is only $1300 in total with such a thorough check and definitely all my insurance information?How could people trust this body shop! I would NEVER recommend it!!!

My firend's red car has a big dent for a few years and then he sent his car to Nova body shop last year. After repaired, his car looks brand new and he paid a reasonable price for the repair. When I was willing to sell my car, I also chose Nova body shop. They explained me the details of how to trim and paint my car and let me choose the service I need. And they calculated the price and gave me some discount. After two weeks, they finish triming and painting my car. It looks brand new and I can tell where were my cars' dents. They washed my car and at the same time, showed the pictures of before and after repairing. I am very satisfied with Nova's service. You can directly drive your car to Nova body shop without appointment and get the estimation repairing fee. They accept cash, check and also take auto insurance check.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Today was the 2nd time that I went to this shop for minor repairs and I was told again the service was free. Hoan even refused to receive a few dollars for tips. My husband and I have been going to the shop for years because of their service quality and relative low costs. We highly recommend this shop to you so that you don t have to worry about overcharge for any service they do for you! Thank you.I went to the shop again (a week ago) for replacing the front bumper of my car: good estimate that saved me $200 without needing to replace the bottom part. Anh Pham (I got his name this time) informed me today that the bumper will be repaired on October 3rd. Will update after the service.Service: Body & Trim

My car's rear bumper was hit in a hit-and-run accident in my apartment complex. The sub-bumper was on the ground and it all looked awful and even the engine was upset over the accident (which didn't even make sense since it's a front-wheel drive car). I had such a fight with my insurance about getting payments and I couldn't even get it towed for two weeks after the accident.The most flawless part of the entire ordeal was while the car was at Nova. They got the car early on a Friday morning and ordered the new parts that day. Everything arrived by the following Monday and they had my car looking better than before the accident by that same Thursday at lunch. They were kind and informative and they cut me a great deal on the deductible. There was no fuss and they were so nice. My car looks phenomenal and it runs smoothly now. They even washed it for me! In a few short interactions, they completely took the whole hassle off my shoulders. My car looks great and I couldn't be happier!!!I will only be going to Nova moving forward and I suggest anyone reading this review do the same!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

These guys are awesome. I worked with Hoan with getting my BRZ fixed after my rear bumper and the reinforcement behind it was damaged. His shop helped me fix that, and the front bumper that was badly damaged from previous accident. He worked with insurance well to make sure the coverage side of it was resolved. And the car came out pretty much in state it was before the accidents, I was very impressed. In my eyes, they are honest and work with you to find best solution, I would totally do business with them again.
