Ryan was awesome. He was very communicative and let me know when he was coming to check out my car. I ended up not needing a service he offered as what was wrong with my car was the fault of a local oil change shop, but he pointed the issue out to me and gave really good advice on how to go about getting them to fix it and offered to check the work after the fact. Very honest and very straightforward guy. Would not hesitate to call him again for any possible future issues with my car. The rest of the reviews aren't a fluke. He's a good guy.

Ryan was awesome and did amazing work. Showed up asap, had all parts needed with him and gave me a really good price for all the work, plus he came to where I was avoiding tow fees. Highly recommend very trustworthy and he is now my go to mechanic. Trucks running great again thanks to him.

Ryan is a unicorn; he's an honest and friendly mechanic who comes to you.He was able to come out the day that I called him, purchased parts on the way, and was exactly on time. He had the hood open and was already elbow-deep in the engine by the time I had my shoes on and came outside.The original fix didn't take, but he was out in the rain under the hood the next day to make it right.He's an honest dude and makes sure the job is done. He's also super-nice and his dog is very cool. He's now my go-to for all my vehicles.

I d like to be transparent that this review is for customer service and honesty Ryan displayed. The dealership had my Honda 9 days for ac issue they likely caused and their diagnosis made no sense. I chose to take car home. Exhausted from taking my car in, I decided to try MD. Ryan was easy to text/communicate with, was prompt on time, quick to assess, knowledgeable and was very honest and kind. He didn t even feel right charging me until the issue was 100% resolved. I really appreciated that, especially after having Honda try to sell me everything I didn t need. He recharged my car to get me back to Corpus, unfortunately I wasn t able to use Ryan to further repair the issue since I needed to hit the road that day. But I will def recommend and use in future based on his honesty.Thanks, Ryan!

Ryan was at my house less than 16 hours after contacting him. He immediately figured out the problem with my battery, replaced it, and checked to make sure everything else was good to go. I HIGHLY recommend using Ryan and MD Automotive for any vehicle trouble you're experiencing.

I drive across the country for a living, and my cargo van broke down near Austin, Texas on a busy highway. It was a sunny day and the temperature was about 100�. Hot as blazes out! I contacted MD Automotive I told him I thought my alternator was bad. In just over an hour Ryan picked up the parts needed and came and replaced the alternator on the side of the road. I was back on the road unbelievably quickly. He was extremely friendly and helpful and I couldn t be more grateful. I should also point out that the cost of the repair was actually less than what my personal mechanic would ve charged me back home. I couldn t believe it. Being 1200 miles from home in a helpless position I wasn t really expecting honesty and integrity, but that s exactly what I received from Ryan and his company MD Automotive. Thanks again! Very good mechanic, he came to me and wasn't able to fix the problem himself but diagnosed it and gave me a number to the locksmith that did fix it. He charged me nothing to come out and spent at least 30 min on it. Highly recommend MD Automotive.

Ryan was awesome. Friendly, accommodating, punctual and responsive. He was able to check out my kid s car within a few hours of me texting. He was honest about what he thought needed to be fixed and didn t try to pressure me into fixing anything else. The air conditioning in my 2002 Nissan Xterra died my son and I was kind enough to share Ryan s name with me and I gave him a call he came out and had the problem. Diagnosed within minutes and solved within 30 minutes with a car as old as mine if I had taken it to any other mechanic, I m sure they would ve told me I needed the compressor replaced but all I needed was Freon added to the system Ryan is professional, courteous, and very trustworthy. So glad I found him.

Boy was I lucky, and I would like to share my luck with you all. Do you know how important it is to find a mechanic you can trust? Ryan was punctual and professional, while at the same time being personable. And here is the best part. He fixed my car! Something AAA should have been able to do as it wasn't even all that bad. But Ryan researched the issue the night before and came prepared. He charged me fairly and was on his way. (I did miss seeing his dog but hey, can't have everything lol). Ryan is an excellent and knowledgeable mechanic! Had him come work on my Land Rover a few times, and recently did a starter removal/install. He got my truck running just in time for the big freeze, and it really helped having a functional vehicle. I highly recommend him as your got to mechanic!

Ryan is awesome. I m newer to the area and had no go-to mechanic until now. I highly recommend Ryan. Nice guy, honest service, and extremely quick. He saved me so much hassle on towing my car and dealing with the shop and his prices were extremely fair. He drove over, ran diagnostics, and replaced my mass air flow sensor in less than 20 minutes. 10/10 would recommend him to anyone I know.Service: Engine repair

Ryan does a great job, and does it more quickly and affordably than a shop can. I needed a strut installed, and the shops in the area needed many days and large labor charges to do it. So I called Ryan on the weekend, and he was able to work me in on Monday. He was able to come early, which was better for me, and he brings all the tools and expertise to do big repair jobs in any location (like my apartment car port). He knows his stuff, and the job was done very quickly and cleanly. He also gave me great advice on things to address in the future. I will no longer pay the higher labor rate needed to cover a shop's overhead, and I will no longer wait until a shop's bays free up for my job. I will call Ryan!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I would recommend Ryan to anyone who needs someone to come check out their car! My AC was leaking water and inside my car and needed someone to come and check it out. I scheduled an appointment with Meineke but they couldn t take me for about a week. I ve heard of mobile mechanics before so I googled mobile mechanic near me and Ryan was the first result that popped up, I was kinda hesitant at first but I figured I d give him a try. I texted him on Saturday, told my problem, said I am free Monday or Tuesday to come check it out and he said he can make it out Tuesday morning. Monday comes and he texts me saying that he is in the area and asked if I was available to come by and work on the car. I told him to drop on by! So he comes over and was super friendly, and very knowledgeable. He told me what the issue was and said how much it would be and I agreed for him to work on it. I was expecting the cost to be much more than what he charged me for, so I am super happy I found Ryan, plus the added benefit of not having to drive to a shop and having to wait around for them to work on my car, especially with how much gas is now.Anyways, I would definitely recommend Ryan to anyone that needs anything worked on with their car. He also takes all form of payments so I was able to Venmo him, which was super convenient. Thank you Ryan!

Absolutely AMAZING experience with Ryan! He is honest, transparent with the work he's done and very affordable! I texted him my issue, he called me in like 5 minutes & told me what the problem could possibly be. When he first looked at my Jeep, I popped the hood, he took a peek inside and he diagnosed the issue in immediately. None of this, "drop off your vehicle, pay 150-200 dollars and you'll hear back in a few hours", nope, straight to the point and he got me a quote for the work that needed to be done in like 15 mins. On top of all that the had my vehicle ready the same day! I was worried I'd be without a vehicle if I took it elsewhere but not with Ryan! I could not recommend him ENOUGH! I know for a fact whenever I need more work done on my Jeep or future car he will always be my go-to! THANKS!

Very professional. What a life saver. Would definitely use him again. This was so convenient, I just let him know where I was and he showed up to my car. I was able to go back inside and do what I needed around the house and by the time I was done, the repair was finished. He was thorough and also brought some things to my attention about my car that I found to be helpful. I was left with the impression, that Ryan is knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and efficient. The price wasn t half bad either. I would definitely recommend him.

Ryan is one of the best auto mechanics in town. He's honest, trustworthy and down to earth. I called him in the morning and he was able to replace my alternator the same day. I highly recommend his services.

I have an older, high mileage vehicle that needs attention from a mechanic from time to time. I ve used Ryan as my mechanic exclusively for a number of years now. He s always responsive, has gone above and beyond in his service on multiple occasions, and always gives me the full context of a repair and what my options are.I fully trust Ryan with my vehicle and any future vehicles I ll own. Ryan always gets me the best pricing options he can, but also his abilities as a mobile mechanic has saved me untold sums of time and money from not having to drop the car off at a busy shop where a different person works on the car every time. I d recommend Ryan to anyone (And I have several times already!)

Ryan showed up on time and took care of my air conditioning issues. His pricing was more than fair. He was very knowledgeable and took time explaining exactly what he was doing, as well as different options. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing any automotive repairs in Austin. My car died and I did a quick search for mobile mechanics because I didn't want to deal with the hassle and cost of getting towed. I also didn't know of any good shops in the area because I've only lived here a year and this was the first time I've had any car trouble. One of the mobile mechanics I called was going to charge $120 for a service call and they didn't have anyone available for three days. Another mobile mechanic I called didn't answer or respond to my message. And a third one I called didn't seem to actually exist and the number was disconnected. I texted Ryan this morning at 8:44 and he replied back at 8:45 telling me he would come take a look today at noon. He showed up and quickly diagnosed the problem - dead battery - and was able to get it replaced within the hour. Super helpful and knowledgable, he answered all my questions and his pricing was upfront and fair. Friendly and very trustworthy guy.
