We are still waiting on Service Department to do the right thing, but we just spent over $4,600 and 2 weeks in the shop, just to have it back in the shop less than 24 hours after repairs were completed. The mech torqued up his zip ties too tight and busted a coolant fitting. We had to have it towed from Georgetown and cost us another $314. They ve had it for 4 days now and they said it s my fault and want me to pay another $914!We contacted the GM in hopes he will do the right thing, but this is UNBELIEVABLE! There is no way we will pay this charge, they broke it, they need ti fix it!

My visit to Maxwell Ford's service center was top-notch! They nailed transparency even when things didn't go as planned, I was always in the loop. The work done on my vehicle? Rock-solid. Kudos to their team for turning what could've been a headache into a surprisingly smooth experience!

This place must have the worst techs in the business. The communication between the service advisors and the mechanics are terrible. I sent my truck in becuase a mechanic I trust diagnosed my IWE had lost vacuum and it was under warranty. After having my truck for six weeks and doing all of this unnecessary work they still didn t even look at the IWE. One tech said that the air filter was put in wrong and that is why the vibration in my front hub was happening.Further when I was there on the last day one service advisor tried to steal me away from another service advisors that was there! This was 10 minutes after I caught he and the mechanic talking about me and my decision on service in the bullpen area.Stay away from this place if you want the job done right. I won t even buy my next Ford from here.

Paul Martinez might be one of the worst service advisors I ve worked with. My car was recommended to this shop by state farm after it had been involved in attempted theft. The vehicle is a 99 and parts aren t available from the manufacturer anymore. I have no problems with after market or used parts in this case which I explicitly told to him. Paul was unable to find the proper parts and the ignition he installed had pieces missing, allowing the user to turn the cars ignition WITHOUT A KEY. When I asked him about this his response was these are the parts that were ordered who ordered the parts!?When I arrived to pick my car up after Paul told me to come get it because we don t want to work on it anymore I found the car with its hood open, door open, dash un-repaired, door lock still broken, ignition allowing me to freely turn it without a key, and battery drained. They had the car for two weeks this is unacceptable from a shop. Paul also has a unique way with words in which he doesn t know how to speak to people respectfully. He escalated every conversation upon asking about parts, labor, completion etc. State Farm is actively investigating them for his actionsService: General repairs & maintenance

Have several Ford vehicles that I have taken to the service dept. F350 had the turbo replaced per their recommendation but when we got it back it made weird noises and didn t spool properly right after we got it back. They said that they needed to replace it with a better turbo but it was okay running with that one but it resulted in check engine lights 6 months later. The check engine light was for blown gaskets throughout the entire engine, basically the turbo installed was faulty, and they didn t take accountability. Just recently took an F250 for oil change service and they recommended a fuel injector flush that immediately resulted in check engine light which they said was just a bad module. Instead, in a couple days the engine is started misfiring. Not a mechanic, but it doesn t take a mechanic to know that their service department is dropping the ball on performing. Calling the manager just gets you a voicemail box with no returned calls. But when they do call, they say their services don t cause problems . In other words, they re saying their mechanics are perfect.Update-Started to do my own maintenance because they re so incompetent and guess what, they had a stripped oil pan nut. Hopefully they didn t mess anything else in my truck, don t ever think about taking your vehicles to these clowns.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Kyle helped me with my purchase he was very kind and patient. He got me the best deal and was very straight with me on the process and I appreciate that so much! We kept them late and he never made me feel like we were a burden. Overall happy with the whole process including finance with Jason.

Had my car serviced today and as always was very pleased with their service and attention to detail. I have always taken my Ford cars back to Maxwell for their great service. Leo Fernandez is my service advisor and is excellent, professional, knowledgeable, and great to work with. Also had the occasion to speak with Kiel in sales and he was very helpful and knowledgeable, as well.

Megan is great! I came in unscheduled and they handled a recall and several service needs. She's knowledgeable, kept me updated and clearly explained the work that was done. I would definitely request Megan for my next service.

Take your car literally anywhere else to be serviced. Each time I drop my car off it s waiting to be checked at for a minimum of 4 days even when they say it s a 1 day turn around. Lots of wasted time, money in ubering back & forth (because the free shuttle takes longer than it takes for your car to get checked out) and money in forced (and never requested) fees other places don t charge for. There are other reviews that say to avoid this place especially if you are a woman, from first hand experience I m saying listen to them!! So take your car to literally any other service center.

First visit here- ignored reviews about dealership and had high hopes after talking to a tech who answered my questions better than the person at Covert Ford. Boy was I wrong. Scheduled appointment to have my car oil change completed. Advised there were additional problems and because I was leaving it late Friday afternoon, had the expectation that I would pick up on Saturday with an oil change and drive around completed confirming I had possible transmission issues. The advisor I talked to was nice: Robert Aguilar. He listened was engaging and wrote down all the concerns. He told me how horrible service at Discount Tire is for doing alignments because they must have just started that and obviously do not do a good job because I was still concerned that I might have a pull to one side. He recommended leaving it through Monday or possibly Tuesday because of the additional concerns. He said he would keep me updated via text on Saturday, if not Monday. He also said that he was going to have someone check it prior to completing the oil change service I requested because the oil change is a fairly short service- 45 mins and having it checked by a tech would take longer. I agreed, confirmed three days would be enough time, and agreed again. He did not call or text, so I reached out fully understanding it is a weekend before a holiday and they must have been busy. Just spoke with him-Tuesday morning a little after 815am- advised I was checking on service. He relayed the car had just been assigned to a tech on Monday and he would probably have to keep it through next week. When I advised him that was not what we discussed he said: What exactly do you remember about that conversation on Friday? You have a car with transmission issues that takes time and you have to remember this is a holiday so its going to take some time. I then proceeded to remind him of the expectations HE SET on Friday including that he would be in contact with me, and that it would be done by Tuesday. I let him know that I need my car for work and don't think that I can leave it with them for 1-2 weeks. He said nothing. I continued- I don't know what to do, I may just have to go pick it up. To which he replied then I will have it ready for you. I asked him what that meant to which he again stated. If you are going to come get it from service I will have it ready for you. I stayed quiet for a short bit and told him I would figure it out.If you read this Robert- understand, had you communicated with me or set a proper expectation of time, I could have tried to make accommodations for it. Had you text me and said hey this is what is going on, I would have been fine with it and we could have worked out something from there. But your surly attitude because I was holding you to your word, was not only unprofessional but inexcusable. I don't know if you are having a tough day, but our conversation did not start out with me upset. You created that with your animosity. I hope you have a better day and maybe take a vacation to relieve whatever tension you have that causes you to be rude and disrespectful to someone who did not mistreat you. After this interaction, I decided to pursue with service manager as I was thoroughly upset and I let the person I talked to know that was the case. I requested an email but they did not provide one- only took a message. I read the reviews before posting this. Should have listed. The most recent one was talking about damaging their truck costing the owner thousands and that was only 1 month ago.So disappointing. I will be picking my car up with (as per the expectation set by Robert) nothing having been completed. Avoid.

I called a couple of days ago, set an appointment and I showed up on time. Notified the front desk who I was there for and I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes or more. Every single employee just walked by and didn't ask me anything or even try to help me. I waited and finally the colored guy asked me if I needed help. I took the time out of my busy schedule to look, and drive a car just to be stood up your salesman. Didn't care enough to notify me either. Smh, very disappointing

My most recent experience with Maxwell Ford has been my worst. When I made my service appointment I noted that there was a rattle under the truck where the skid plates meet. When i arrived i reiterated to the service rep that there is a rattle. Additionally, i checked under the truck before i went in noting that there were bolts missing from the plate noted Remove for oil change . All of this was told to the service rep who assured the rattle would be fixed. I didn t have time to check when the service was completed as i was in a hurry to get to work but when i arrived home i checked and sure enough the bolts are still missing and the rattle is very much still there. It s also worth noting that this rattle did not exist when i purchased the truck and that i have only taken it to Maxwell for service in the past. Where/when the bolts went missing is beyond my knowledge but i assumed they would have the hardware and awareness to replace the missing bolts but i guess not.

I appreciate the fact that they fixed my truck, however they had the truck for almost 2 weeks and there was virtually no proactive contact. I had to call them every day and for 10 days they provided almost no communication on when I was going to get my truck back.

My car was damaged.I brought my Lincoln here to repair a leak on one of the calipers . The vehicle was in service center for almost two weeks and it was not related with spare part. It was so long for some unknown reason but ok. luckily I could use my wife's car I spend an hour for check out because they charged me for the inspection that I asked them to do as well but they never did it. The guy couldn't find paper work then had to redo it etc. So I got out of facility when it already was closed for the day.And finally, right after taking off I stopped on the nearest gas station and found bad dent on my door and scratch. The dent was deep to the metal. I called back to service and they told me to bring the vehicle for couple days to evaluate. No way I am going there again.

About the only good thing I can say about Maxwell Ford Service Center is that it is easy to schedule an appointment. They have damaged my truck, most recently with a large scratch down the front hood where clearly a tool was placed and slid down the hood. The service rep initially acknowledged that yes, that scratch was not there when I brought it in.Upon escalating the situation to the service manager, John Sullivan, they suddenly got defensive and started deflecting blame, saying I must have done it. They legitimately got confrontational with me about this and insulted me.I meticulously maintain my truck and had washed it that morning - the scratch was not there until I picked it up from service. After each service my truck has also had greasy hand prints all over it from the service workers. They have so many customers because of the convenient location - apparently that allows them to provide a low level of service and stay in business.

I called the Maxwell Ford Service Center to schedule an oil change on Monday (10/2).This is a very simple service request. But this experience was completely different from my previous experience. This service request, from the call to the completion of the task, not only shown Maxwell Ford Svc Center, a well organized organization; but also shown quality professionals is one of the most valuable assets of an organization.Robert A., the advisor was the key to this positive experience. Thank you.

Terrible customer service, seriously. Be extra careful if you're a woman. This place wants to sell you things, rather than fix your issues. You'll want to go somewhere else.My wife took her Ford Edge for having heavy white smoke from the exhaust and a popping noise in the wheel well. The car was there for 10 days. WE had to reach out to check on status of the car each time and sensed no urgency from them. Despite having our video proof, they claim they couldn't replicate the smoke issue and therefore couldn't diagnose it. A competent mechanic would know that gassy, white smoke could be several things, like engine components and fuel issues, however we received no report of any of that being checked. Coincidentally, we got white smoke the second time we started the car...They "diagnosed" the popping noise by suggesting we replace a ton of front suspension parts including our 3 year old tires, totaling over $5000.We declined all service and had our issues resolved quickly at another, local mechanic.

You are better off at literally any other dealer in the area. Awful service. A while back I got trapped into a large diagnostic fee when they were investigating a recall notice. Then, when that recall part finally came in recently, I gave them another chance (because they are the closest to me and you know Austin traffic). Got the run around and bailed. Was able to make a same-day appointment at another dealer in north Austin.

Theres nothing I regret more than taking my car to these crooks.Beware of Group 1 Dealers like this, they have ties to multiple auto theft rackets across the nation. They also apply non-standard markup beyond MSRP on new car sales and push unnecessary services on customers to rack up charges.I took my car to their body shop for a creaking issue where they lied and made up a bunch of problems, defrauded my insurance company, then when it was finally ready 3 months later attempted to extort me for $3k beyond the $5k already paid by insurance.I refused to pay and took my car back. The single issue it had was not even fixed, then it was stolen from my home in the middle of the night.

I normally like to work on my car myself and always viewed dealers as overpriced and often mediocre service. The Maxwell Ford Service Center has proven this wrong.Since purchasing my Focus ST here a few years ago, I've brought it in a few times for oil changes and warranty service. The coupons they send out periodically make the trip and wait worth it.The service has been acceptable, though wait times are about what you would expect from a large service center. They let you schedule appointments online which does help with this somewhat. It looks like they recently renovated the service center. I appreciate the free wifi and USB charging outlets in the waiting area. They also offer shuttle service though I've never used it.The warranty service was mostly hassle free and they managed to find and replace the bad part (headlight assembly) the same day.As I'll soon be moving away, I just hope I can find a dealer in the future which is as good as this place.

Avoid this dealership. I went there for the back up camera recall. My camera would not work intermittently.I was there to get other services done as well. And they told me the camera was working so they can t do the recall. (Apparently at that time camera was ok - like I mentioned it was on/off intermittently after open/closing trunk)That following month I moved to a different state. Now the camera was not working again. I Went in to a dealership and they looked up i. System, and showed me Maxwell ford has marked my recall as (resolved - no further action needed). Now I cannot get it fixed anywhere else.I called Maxwell ford for for this issue, for them to fix their wrong reporting so I can get the recall. Here is the manager response:John Sullivan: there is nothing I can do anymore, and you have to turn back and look around when you back the car like old times .

UPDATE: After getting Lamb's to check my AC problems and got a quote for the repairs, I verified that I had an extended service plan with Ford. I tried calling the service center again to see what could be done. The service advisor, Robert, clarified that they were NOT backed up for two weeks and that they'd be able to look at my vehicle and fix the AC problem.Less than a week later, I got my car back and only had to pay a deductible. I'm happy with the service and the level of communication from Robert and the service crew, but it seems like there may be some internal communication issues that really needs to be addressed.*****ORIGINAL: I purchased a brand new 2018 Ford focus from Maxwell towards the end of 2018. My car has less than 32000 miles on it and just started having AC issues to where the cold air isn't blowing after 20ish minutes of driving. I tried calling and was informed that there was about a two week backlog so that my car wouldn't be checked out until about June 6th. I don't have a problem with that, but the kicker is that I would need to DROP MY CAR OFF AND LEAVE IT SITTING in their lot for the whole two weeks. They said there's no way around that, and that I can't even bring it in before the date mentioned above.Pretty terrible service. I'll never get another car from this dealership ever again since they can't even be bothered to ever fix the problems I have with the car they sold me within adequate parameters.Service: Air conditioning

The online service appointment tool is deceptive at best. Their calendar showed many available appointments this week, so I booked a time for today. After driving in the rain 45 minutes and arriving at the appointed time, the technician advised that it was a 7-10 day wait until they could look at it, and did I really want to leave it (obviously not). He said another tech would call me when they could fit me in. He could not offer an explanation as to why the online tool did not reflect the actual backlog.A more minor deception was that he said the flyer coupon I had for discounts could not be applied to diagnostic charges - I did not see this anywhere in the fine print. I get at least one flyer a week in the mail begging me to visit Maxwell Service, yet they really aren't able to deliver - why waste the postage. Finally, the problem I had was related to a well known issue covered in a Ford Service Bulletin. The advisor said it would not in any way be covered by Ford if the car was out of warranty. No wonder Jim Farley is furious about the serious decline in Ford Quality.I should have known better to stick to my local neighborhood car repair shop - fully staffed with long term technicians, no backlog, genuine Ford parts, hourly rates 40% lower than Ford dealer, and a 4++ google rating.

Took my vehicle in for a simple gear shift knob replacement. They wanted $75 for the part I could readily find new OEM online for sub $50. Plus 2 hours of labor for a job I watched a random guy (non-ford technician) do on online in 10-15 minutes. I ended up buying and swapping it myself and it took me about 30 minutes, and I'm not an auto guy and with no prior experience. Total they wanted $425. Shameful they would try to take advantage of people like this.

I brought my truck in because I was having a peculiar squeal coming from the drive shaft. During the initial visit, we were able to reproduce the issue during a short drive. From there, they determined which department the problem fell under and "put me in line" for the next opening in that department. I appreciate that I did not have to leave my truck there while I waited my turn. A few days later, Robert texted me and let me know I was next, so I dropped my truck off that afternoon. He arranged a rental at the nearby car rental place and even called to have them come pick me up. He gave me an estimated time frame of how long the repair would take. The next day, the whole city froze over; but Robert kept me up to date letting me know the part we were waiting for was delayed by the ice storm. Even so, my truck was ready to pick up before I even had my electricity restored at home. When I came to pick it up, again, Robert helped me get the rental returned, he explained everything they did to get my truck fixed, and got me out of there as quickly as possible. I wish I could give a shout out to the mechanic that fixed the problem, but their name was not listed on the repair summary; but y'all are not forgotten, thank you.Service: General repairs & maintenance

So far, terrible service. I called and made an appointment for 7:30 am on Monday Jan 16 (which was a work holiday for me) and arrived at the service center on time. When I arrived they said it would take at least five days for them to look at my car. I said, "why wasn't that explained to me over the phone"? Instead, the woman making the appointment for me over the phone simply asked if I was planning on staying at the service center while my car was worked on. Since it was a day off work, I said, sure, I will just bring my book and wait in the lounge while they fix the A/C in my car. So when I arrived and they said they couldn't work on my car I was shocked. They put me on a "list to call" which would "hold my place in line" and said I would be called in 1-2 days. Needless to say I was never called at all this week. Terrible customer service and the employee I spoke with at the service center said that the "appointments are just made by a call center in Houston and they don't really know our schedule or workflow". Well that is poor customer service. Just say you are too busy instead of fooling busy people who have to live their lives, go to work, take care of children, etc. etc. by lying about the availability of appointments. Final thing: my car repair will be covered by the Ford certified pre-owned warranty which may be why I've received such poor customer service. Honestly, the warranty is the only reason I even considered bringing my car to be serviced at any dealership but because I just bought this car and it is covered by the warranty I attempted to use Maxwell Ford. BEWARE!!!
