When I need to have my trucks or cars looked at or worked on Martinez AutoShop is the place for me. They keep me up to date with all my repairs. And warranty all there work. I feel good about all the services people. And always leave with a smile .

This place is definitely God sent. I had my truck taken there, it needed TLC and they provided it. So helpful, understanding and kind. I'll definitely be a forever customer and will always recommend this shop to anyone I know that needs help repairing their vehicles.

I stopped by yesterday. Met with the owner had a fantastic visit. I m a vendor and this was my first time here. Very professional and place was very busy. I highly recommend them and while you re waiting for your car to get repaired you can enjoy a meal under shady tree. The food truck was fantastic.

Best mechanic shop in town I had done some work to my truck (messed it up) Martinez Auto fixed everything the right way and had me back on the road safe and job done extremely well done! Definitely recommend checking them out!

The battery on my truck had died out in front of their shop. The manger charged me $20 for a jump. I drove away and let the guy who jump my car close my hood. He didn't close my hood the whole way! Fortunately, I noticed before it flew open and did any real damage.

They scammed my mom out of a $200 diagnostic fee when there was nothing wrong with her car. Their explanation was so janky I took it to another trusted mechanic who confirmed nothing was wrong. They wanted another $1000 for a crankshaft position sensor . If there was something wrong with the crankshaft that car wouldn t be driving. Either incompetent or wholly dishonest when an old lady comes in.

This auto repair is in the entrance of a subdivision. The owners is particular in ensuring the parking lot is cleared out and cleaned before closing shop.He has fixed several of my vehicles, and his prices have been fair and comparable to others.I would highly recommend this shop.03/2024Second visit on the same vehicle.New issues arose and I can stand on knowing they well take care of the issues.

I had engine issues and my car wasn t running I considered selling it and getting a new one, I decided to take it to Martinez for a diagnostic check. The repair was only half of what I thought it would have cost and I was back on the road by the end of that week. I m Glad I opted to take it to Martinez Auto Repair and I d also like to mention they have friendly staff like Daniel.

Just moved to the area and needed to get an inspection fairly quick. This place had no lines and they adjusted to inspect my jeep right away compared to the two hour long wait I got at the other places nearby. Super friendly and very clean shop. They told me where I could go get my registration sticker which was around the corner.Fastest, smoothest inspection and registration process I ve EVER had! The worst mechanic ive ever visited. I went here as a last resort on memorial day which was monday. The receptionist told me i should expect a call on wednesday which i was hesitant but agreed. I didn t receive a call at all. Instead i had to call to make sure everything was ok. They said they would call back later that day to give me an estimate. i waited all day and received no call. Most mechanics are able to tell you what s wrong within a day this place took until thursday to give me a diagnosis with a $3000 estimate and i had to call first yet again. im praying they didnt damage any further my cars engine. They charged me $180 diagnostic fee after 4 days without telling me any diagnosis or update. This car shop is a joke and will hold ur car hostage if you dont pay. On top of that they gave my mother a hard time as she went to go pick up my car even tho i clearly told someone over the phone that my mother would be going for me. You will waste your time and money if you come to this place. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Steer clear of this place!!! I m so disappointed at the level of disrespect shown to our family vehicle. My brother came in for a simple engine repair that was covered by our insurance ($3,000). When we came to pick up our vehicle they would not release our vehicle until we paid an ADDITIONAL $3,000 after they had already received full payment from our insurance company and this additional $3,000 was never agreed upon nor was the work or parts itemized when requested. They offered to discount this fictitious $3,000 to $2,600 which sounds like admittance to guilt or an attempt to receive money off the books to us. Given we were forced to pay this additional money so that my brother could make it to a from work, we were shocked to receive a vehicle that now has engine that leaks, a broken dip stick, a weather strip that was ripped off and not replaced (found that in the trunk). We are now terrified at what else we will come across that has been tampered with. Unacceptable!!Even after their rush to reply, just unacceptable Smh.Service: Engine repair

Best price and warranty for a transmission job in town!After shopping around looking for service and pricing to rebuild my wife s SUV transmission I decided to give my business to this guys.I was met with professional service backed by a great warranty, and the best price.Having a transmission broke on a truck is never an small bill but after searching around town and asking a few places for prices I decided to let the mechanics at Martinez Auto Repair do the job.the good mechanics at the shop deserve 5 stars.

Lovely new clean shop. Very accommodating. Helped us with an emergency transmission failure while enroute with our travel trailer. Wonderful experience. Highly recommended. 2.5 miles from McKinney State Park for other travelers' emergency needs!

Nobody was paying attention that we were there and needed assistance. After about 10 minutes someone came to the car and said that to you Tire person wasn't there but then he pulled up. Tire was fixed and it didn't take him long to finish it. Yes and the Tire man was nice.

Martinez mechanic shop has been nothing short of doing a great job. I have been using its services for about 3 or so years for someone who has its much experience with mechanical work and is versatile in foreign vehicles as well as domestic is hard to find. But nothing says job well done as much as not having to see him as often as taking my vehicles to a shade tree mechanic. Although he may not be the cheapest mechanic in town he definitely knows his stuff I have had him work on my Ford F 252001 model, My 2008 Volvo XC90 cama and my 2012 Chrysler minivan. Every one of these vehicles has been service by Martinez mechanic shop and he is not fail nor has his work, he stands behind what he does by continuing to do a good job I will keep using his services.

Stay away from this shop. I brought my car in to get transmission work done and when I picked it up, I was told that my shifter cable is tight and needs to be replaced. Fair enough. I go to start the car and noticed that the shifter was so tight now, that it would not even park. The mechanic told me he can repair it and to leave the car with him. This was NOT an issue when I dropped the car off at his shop. The point is that, after paying several hundreds of dollars for transmission work, the car was returned to me with additional problems. I took my car and my business else where. Between this happening and the "text receipt" I received, this was all too shady. Stay away from this guy!!

Martinez can fix every mate model foreign and domestic vehicle his staff has the capability to make your vehicle work and keep it running. I recommend this mechanic but not for the shallow pocket if do you are on a budget or looking for a shade tree mechanic don't go here. I used a shade tree mechanic trying to figure out the issue on my Volvo and I wasted my money instead had to take it to Martinez and he was able to get it resolved.
