Pepe and his team are some of the best mechanics I've ever worked with! They charged a very reasonable and affordable price for their services, were fast and efficient, and were honest and good to work with. The next time my car needs maintenance or repairs, I will be taking it back to Longhorn Automotive!

I was in a pickle.Really needed an inspection and an oil change and they had me in and out in an hour, for BOTH.Super nice, thorough and being pretty busy, I was impressed. I've never had better service when it came to my car needs.Also purchased 4 new tires at half the price of Firestone, the gentleman was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this place, I will continue to take my car here for anything it needs.

I had a great experience here! As a woman in my 20s, I have had experiences at repair shops where they try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars. This was the opposite of what I experienced at Longhorn Automotive.I was treated with respect and honesty. They also have reasonable prices. It is so appreciated! I will be back :) thank you!

My car's engine was overheating and they diagnosed and fixed the problem over the weekend. A speedy process and they also replaced my sparkplugs for no extra charge and gave me a good quote upfront. I would return to this establishment in the future for other work I need done to my car. Great place with great people.

Pepe is the guy to see for any car troubles! I was having trouble starting my car and these guys figured it out, swapped the part, and did it all for half the price of other shops in the area. He gave me a quote upfront so there were no surprises, and when I came back my car was starting like a dream! I seriously cannot overstate how pleased I am with the team at Longhorn Automotive.No upsell, No B.S. No problem!Take your car (and business) here!!!

Had something happen with my oil pan while driving, and had it towed to Longhorn after hours. Work was completed within 48 hours, with clear communication the whole time! So satisfied with this place. Thanks to this team for great service, highly recommend.UPDATE: March 2, 2024Engine and oil issue, plus brake job and spark plug replacement. Basically my car was a MESS and Pepe saved it! Entire project completed within 5 hours. Love this place. Never going anywhere else for repair and maintenance.

Pepe and Longhorn Automotive are excellent! Great quality of work, very fair prices and a wonderful turn around time too. The traction control and ABS lights came on in my truck and they were able to replace the worn hub bearings in 24 hours.

Pepe went above and beyond to help my Longhorn daughter with her vehicle. He was very courteous, prompt and fair with pricing. He even drove to her work to bring her car back to his shop. This has been my mechanic since I moved to Austin. As a young woman, I am always leery of being taken advantage of by mechanics, but not at Longhorn Auto. It feels like a partnership. They are willing to talk me through what is going on and let me see and engage with any issues. I trust that they are fair.

Went in to get headlight bulbs replaced and they completed it within 30 mins! They even did a complimentary service for oil and coolant. Pepe and the crew are amazing - very transparent and excellent customer service. I definitely recommend especially for UT students!

The customer service Pepe and the Longhorn Automotive crew provide is unlike any other. On separate occasions they have went above and beyond. The first time, they brought out one of their crew members to meet us at our car to assess the issue and bring it back to the shop for repairs. This last time, I went in without an appointment, late in the afternoon, and got my car back the next morning good as new.The customer service, quick turnaround, and the great work they provide has me bringing my car back time after time.

Quick clutch replacement service. I did have to bring it back in to rehbleed the clutch but now it's working like it's brand new. I'll definitely be back when something goes wrong with my 91 Jeep Wrangler.

Look no further! Do yourself a favor and take your car to Longhorn Automotive now! I was referred to Longhorn Automotive by another mechanic. After feeling super frustrated by being priced gouged by other mechanics or being turned away by other places who weren't equipped to do the work on my truck. I asked a local mechanic who they trusted to work on their car and they sent me to Longhorn Automotive.Pepe has been incredible! Seriously a breath of fresh air! He is in the business of helping people and does incredible work. His team is so friendly and professional. I trust him to not only do amazing work in a timely manner but to also provide fair and affordable prices. I am so grateful to have landed in a place where I feel I am in good hands! The brakes on my RAV4 had almost failed, so I took it to Longhorn. They did a diagnostic that day and found very old brake pads and brake fluid. After they replaced everything, they tested the brakes and found they didn't hold pressure adequately, so they diagnosed a problem with the master cylinder. Although it was very hard to find a replacement for a 17 year old car, they found one and got it repaired quickly. The old master cylinder was starting to leak and about to fail when they replaced it, so I was relieved that they took care of it when they did. The cost for everything was more than I had counted on when I took the car in, but reasonable for all the work they had to do. They're very polite, explain everything, and are very fast with repairs.Service: Brakes

Great customer service, and prices.My check engine light came on and my car started sounding weird yesterday afternoon. Pepe was able to diagnose, and repair the issues all by 5:30. Had a check engine light that I didn't know how to fix so I took it here after a previous good experience with having my brakes worked on. Pepe is awesome; he got the parts and did all the work in under 5 hours when both dealerships that I went to were going to charge me $100-something just to diagnose the issue, and wanted to keep the car overnight. Extremely reasonable prices too - gave me a price breakdown upfront so no surprises there. I can't recommend these guys enough.Service: Engine repair

I was very impressed by Pepe's exceptional customer service. He went above and beyond to serve my request. I shopped at other places for my AC conditioner repair fix and he offered the best rates and fixed the car in the time he committed. Pepe, Ian and the rest of the mechanics at Longhorn went above and beyond in fixing the issues with my car. They were professional andresponded quickly with any and all the questions I had during the process. It s rare to find a shop that s honest and really wants to do the best job they can without giving you a run for your money. I would recommend this shop to everyone. You will not be disappointed!

Really great experience! I've been putting off a repair for awhile because dealing with auto shops can be frustrating. Longhorn gave me a rough estimate over the phone; after looking at the car and confirming the cost, he adjusted to honor the rate he gave me on the phone. Not only that - he sent me photos during the repair so I knew my car was taken care of and how long it would be until it was ready. I've never had photos of repairs in progress be sent and it was a VERY nice touch. Really honest company - honors his word & is transparent with the process.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Pepe and his team are amazing! My car wouldn't start on Saturday morning and luckily I live just behind their shop and they came over to my house to diagnose the issue. I thought it was the starter because lights, radio, and AC would turn on but they figured out it was just a bad battery. Pepe was so nice, great to talk to and willingly to help me out. I had a great experience and will definitely recommend to friends/family. Everyone was really nice. He gave me a price upfront that was lower than all the others that I called for quotes and stuck to it and performed quality work for a great value. It felt like they actually care about their work and the customer which was really nice. Even cleaned up under the hood and wiped down the dash as a complimentary service! I'm not a car guy, so an honest mechanic is a must for me. Longhorn Automotive is exactly that. They are transparent and forthcoming about all options and their recommendations aren't automatically the ones that make them the most money. They've fixed my old car up twice now and service was excellent both times. I trust them completely with my car and will never go anywhere else.Service: Engine repair

We went to a different shop in town and they quoted us around $700 for an AC repair. We then brought the vehicle over to Longhorn, they checked it out, and discovered that the issue was actually much smaller than we initially thought. Ended up paying less than half that to get the AC fixed. This was our second experience with Longhorn, and they're always honest and offer great pricing.
