I had a flat tire recently and saw this shop was nearby and had decent reviews and was the only one open on a Sunday morning. I had my car towed there and they sold me a used tire. The guy was nice and tried to upsell me to new tires but since I wasn t ready to get 4 new tires I opted with the used one. I drove home, about 5 miles and ran a couple more errands that day. When I looked at my tire at the end of the day it was completely flat again. As you can imagine, I was fairly confused, so I got the car towed the next day to Discount tire store. I assumed something was wrong with my wheel or axle that was causing these flats. They checked my wheel, showed me nothing was wrong and then showed me the tire I was sold, which was in incredibly poor condition.I understand I bought a used tire (for $105 mind you, not very cheap) but for it to be in such bad shape that it s torn in multiple spots and is flat in less than 8 hours is not only bad business, it is incredibly unsafe. I called and explained the situation and they refused to give any refund nor even apologize for this. I m not one to leave bad reviews unless it s really bad, so here it is. Pics below of the tire that Leal s put on my car.In turn, national discount tire was amazing, took great care of me and got me a fresh set of new tires quickly and with confidence, at just a fraction of a higher price.

Just left Leal s and am super happy! Had low tire pressure and found two nails in my tire. Stopped in to see if they could patch it 15 minutes and $40 later am back on the road. So fast and so reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Nice guys working here and they explained all my options to me and helped me settle on 2020 used tires that were $450 for the set. Used seems like the best deal, but it s cash only for used tires so be ready for that. There is an ATM across the street, which I used, but that wasted $12 on fees. There was no wait once I decided. They got the tires on quickly and I was good to go. Much easier than Goodyear which quoted me about $600 and a three hour wait

Firestone quoted me $1000 for two run-flat tires but Leals got me two (good quality tires) plus labor for half the price. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, patient, and got the work done quickly since I was waiting in the shop. I will definitely return for my auto needs.

The team here is incredible!I pulled up to the shop on Sunday morning to have them fix a flat. There were 4 cars there already so I thought it was going to take a while but that was not the case! The team immediately asked what I needed help with as other members assisted the other customers, I was in and out in 10 minutes with a new tire. Highly recommend!!

Thanks God for Jimmy and this shop .My wife and I are heading out of town an hour or so away, she accidentally hits a curb and our tire begins to leak. We head to Leal s and while he's looking at the back one he glances up notices this one on the front right that is split. With an hour of driving and 102 temps, it would have exploded while on the road in next 30 min. With two lanes roads it would have been very bad, Very happy to have those loved ones watching down on us and a excellent tire repair shop. Super grateful and 5 stars all day. We got our two tires replaced and out of the shop in 45 min and inexpensively. Immense gratitude and keep doing and amazing job!

Had a gnarly flat on our way out of Austin, it was a Sunday, and these fine folks were open. We went ahead and replaced all four tires, they were quick and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

I managed to get two screws stuck in my front and rear tire at the same time. Perplexed at the thought of spending close to $1k at a Toyota dealership I searched for tire shops close to me. Luckily I found Leal s! In less than 45 minutes I had both tires replaced for $260 including labor. The service was great and timely! I recommend them to anyone looking for quality service at an affordable price. Support this East Austin Small Business!

They literally changed my tire in 5 min with perfect pressure and also remembered to replace the weight afterwards which NONE of the major tire places have done and I had to drive back due to it rolling around and making noise. Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of going to Leal's this past Labor Day. The night before Labor Day, I realized I had a flat tire. I was nervous that nobody would be open because of the holiday, but after calling around to a few chain tire shops (Ex. Firestone), I settled on Leal's. Firestone had quoted me an almost 12 hour wait for my car, but Leal's told me I could swing by immediately and they would be done within 15 minutes. From the moment I showed up, Leal's was incredibly professional, answered all of my questions, and efficient. They found what was wrong with my tire, patched it up, tested the patch, and finally put it back onto my car. All in all, from beginning to end, I was ready to go in 10 min. I have already recommended Leal's to several of my friends, and I highly recommend it to anybody reading this review. Prices seem fair, service is quick, and they do a great job!

Had a slow leak so I stopped by here before I headed to Houston. I got charged $125 plus tax on a used tire for a chevy equinox. I'm someone that doesn't know much about cars and prices but when I told my dad and brother they were shocked at how high that was for a used tire. Personally wouldn't come here again for that reason.

They saved my vacation! We were about to get on the road to colorado when we realized we needed a new tire. Another tire shop in town broke off a lug nut and then didn't have the equipment to fix it so the old tire was stuck on and couldn't be replaced! This place immediately knew what to do and fixed it in 5 minutes and it was super cheap. Extremely friendly and quick. Absolutely would go again!

BE AWARE: they ask people to give them good reviews even before they provide the service. And I have to rewrite this after leaving their place. They left a lot of scratches on both of the rims of the tires they changed for us. After a lot of refusing their responsibility, they finally offered to repaint the rims for us with a lot of complicated steps. And the tires are not that cheap either. Felt like we were cheated. So don't trust the good reviews you read. Be aware.

I was greeted by the manager right away AT my vehicle, attended to very quickly, welcomed and the staff made me laugh and feel like I had been a loyal customer for 20 years! What? That was worth gold! The kicker is my vehicle was waiting on me instead of ME waiting on my vehicle ~wow!

I've had a variety of car issues in the past year, and out of all the different shops I've gone to around Austin, Leal's is definitely the best! Every worker I've encountered has been so nice, and willing to take the time to thoroughly explain and show things to a girl who doesn't know much about cars! I was near tears last week after trying to buy lug nuts at a different place since Leal's doesn't carry the kind for my car. Once I finally got the right ones (and trust me, it was a process), I went right over to Leal's, where they instantly made me feel comfortable and put them on for me. So thankful that I found this place- highly recommend!

TL;Dr: options were given, best price was offered, great service was provided. 10/10 do recommendI personally believe this is a great and honest place. Came in with a flat that i ran un-inflated so there was clearly damaged. Even after noticing this the staff said they would still verify and confirm (other places start their selling pitches at that point). The guy did exactly that, and confirmed no damage for running flat so repair work started. Tires were clearly worn (i could tell from the get go) and while attempting to patch it did came into the picture them offering a replacement and never stopped the repair process.Of course I stopped him right away as the issue was obvious, but I'm real glad and grateful to deal with a business that's honest and tries their best without really trying to over sell you.

Great fast service. Awesome guy fixed up my tire leak. Elecio was just on it and the tires are really good. They even give a coupon for coffee at Lou s in Austin.

There old shop was fast and great this one was awful. They tried to over charge for "brand new" tires and they were obviously not. I talked them down but then took 20mins to put on 2 tires when I was the only one there. Once I get home I do a further look and my rims are scratched. I will not be going back. I recommend that you don't either.

I just got a tire from here. I had a great experience. I drive a 2012 Kia Soul and I paid 38$ for a single tire. Great price and they were super fast. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Have been coming here for most of the last decade . Service is always quick and good. However, their prices have jumped so beware. Recently brought in some tires and if you want to have them change out your tires and dispose of the old tire, it will cost you about $54 per wheel- the change, the balance, and the disposal fee plus tax. This is about 20 bucks more than it used to cost.

I really wanted to like and support this place because the guys who work here are nice; however, I think I'm going to have to take my business elsewhere. First, I used to occasionally take my dualie truck here to have them fill the air (because it is kind of a pain in the rear with the duals). They never would charge me, and I would tip the guy doing it like $10-20. Now, I see that they have started charging $10 for air. OK, I understand...still seems chintzy. But the big problems are that I had a tire patched here not long ago. About 2 weeks later, the patch started leaking. I took it back and had to argue with them a bit to get it fixed...they wanted to charge me again. My fault for paying for the first patch in cash and not insisting on a receipt. The last straw was that I wanted to have them install a TPMS that I had bought; it involved unmounting, installing sensors, remounting, and balancing all six tires, so I knew it was going to cost a fair amount of money. They gave me a price; it was 3x the price of the same service estimate I got from two other local (non-chain) tire shops within a close drive. Not sure why I got the inflated rate quote, but I was disappointed. I hate to see the local east-side businesses shutting down, but man, they need to keep it competitive.

I waited a while to make sure my tire was repaired.Pros:-Fast and quick, pulled up and they had my tires repaired in 10-15 min-good repairs, I used to put air in my tire and in 5-10 days the low pressure gauge would come on, it s been 2 weeks and no low pressure so I think they did a good jobCons:-it was pricey, 30$ with card and 27.50? With cash, this is more expensive than most similar style tire shops and even chains like Firestone are cheaperIt would be 5 stars, I d recommend people to get their tire repaired there but it is pricey, the price is high enough that I d give them 4 stars instead of 5 since if you can wait you can definitely get a better deal, 30$ is about 20$ away from buying a used tire, overall quick, good work and pricey. You pay for what you get so at least you get good workmanship
