Gentleman at the front desk did not seem particularly pleased to have to help me. Only used them because they were on my fleet program and right down the road. Had to wait an extra hour after my car was done because we were waiting for the fleet system to update my work as approved . Turns out it was approved for 30+ minutes already but they never refreshed the page properly to see even after I asked them to check multiple times, and finally let me go. Not a great experience, might as well go to jiffy lube

This was our first time to use Lamb's on McNeil for an oil change and tire rotation due to a great coupon that arrived in the mail. The office staff was friendly and helpful. We received good service in a timely manner. I am happy with the experience, and will return there again.

First time coming here was a great experience. I needed to get my tire patched and they solved the problem with no troubles. I was satisfied and surprised that they ll send you a link of how your car maintenance is. Normally I don t get any more information about my car at any other shops I ve encountered. I m thankful to come here and will continue coming here to work on a few things with my car.

I could not have asked for better service. I had no idea I was driving on such a dangerous tire. I purchased a used vehicle and had my children in it. If I hadn t come to Lambs when I did things could have went horribly wrong. Erik ensured the safety and security behind the work that was provided. He was understanding, He was kind & I would absolutely recommend asking for him. He was heaven sent! My car has been running so smoothly since and any further work I ll definitely have to come back!

My oil change was smooth sailing by a Staff of professionals who extended every courtesy to me, since I was having trouble walking.Their kindness and support was only superseded by their excellent explanations of the work that was done today, and future car repairs. This group deserves a gold star!

Went in today originally for an alignment, mount, and balance. Eric called me and explained to me that my tires were bald and helped me get new ones at an affordable price. 10/10 would recommend. Also Eric is a nice guy and deserves a raise.

They wouldn t rotate our tires unless we bought new ones. They couldn t tell us what was wrong with the tires, just that they were old. Overall poor customer service. I just had one tire replaced a year ago, and they tried to tell me it was six years old. They claimed because of this and my "bad brakes", that they would be unable to rotate/balance my tires.Edit: After visiting a reputable mechanic after going to Lamb's, they confirmed that the tires were in decent condition and that my brakes were totally fine. THESE PEOPLE ARE FISHING FOR YOUR MONEY! THEY WORK ON COMMISSION! THEY WILL UPSELL YOU ON EVERY LITTLE THING!

This is an update to my 1-Star review a few days before. Update: car won t crank (start) again after waiting on an ECM car part that was on an indefinite back order with instilled confidence from their master mechanic(s) that this was, in fact, the isolated, electrical issue after testing battery (bought a new one and installed myself in September), I tested my fuses, checked starter, etc Mind you, it took the staff 10+ days to isolate the issue in September 2023. David, the store manager, offered to pay for half the cost of a tow because he was 90% sure it was my battery and they tested it before. I will even give you a battery for free. I had concerns upon pick-up. What if this- what if that after waiting all this time and $3.4K later I wanted to trust their staff in their niche. I have been kind and patient; at this point, I feel taken advantage of. Additionally, Lamb s staff was confident it, as I drove it off, lot post-ECM repair, that the battery as good. Mind you, I waited 6 months on the Engine Control Module car part (not Lamb s fault). Of course, I wasn t going to go through with this ridiculous process of David s resolution of going half on a tow when simply testing for a battery with a tool a first grader can use. Not a good solution when my $3K+ repair is still in-warranty. Moving forward, I tested the battery- still good. I had my concerns, what if I wait x amount of time on an ECM that was on indefinite back order and they mess up, and my car won t run after all this time etc; that concern became a reality, ladies and gentlemen (: Now, Lamb s is (finally)offering a free tow back to their lot on Monday. Not even a same day tow call back after speaking with David Friday, 2/3/24. I am sick of not having a car. I live in TX, not Europe.

Great experience with Lamb's on McNeil. They provided me with suggested repairs, like brake pads, air filter, etc. through a link and provided pictures to support the suggestions but I did not feel pressure to have any other repairs done. They were also able to fit my car in for a very necessary oil change and tire rotation. I also love that they send coupons for oil changes and other services.

I was extremely happy with the service I received at Lamb's Tire & automotive. The service advisor, Eric Kildahl, was very professional and helpful. It was aparant that he was committed to providing the best service possible. And he did, keeping me informed of the progress and any concerns to be aware of along the way. As a result, I am happy with the work done on my car.I am confident in Eric Kildahl and the work he does. I took my car in because the check engine light was on. After spending more than $2,500 the check engine light is still on.The manager called to check and see if everything was okay with the car when I got it home. I told him about the problem I was having and he immediately offered to take it back and get the proper repair made right away. When I got it back to him the charge for the repairs he gave me a break on the cost. I was very happy with how I was treated.

Stopped in because that pesky tire pressure warning light wouldn't go away. Even though it was right at closing, the nicest young gentleman assisted me and got me back on the road in just a few minutes. Highly recommend them for friendly, professional service.

Changing my review from 1 star to 5 star. I got a call from the store manager today morning and explained me what actually happened for the delay and also got my car serviced right away with all inspections. I was in and out within 1 hour. Thanks you so much to the store manager (Michal, sorry if i misspelled your name), he was so friendly and courteous and also apologized for whatever happened. He was on top of my car and gave me in detail information about what are the urgent needs for my car which needs to be fixed immediately and which can be done later. He has given me in detail estimate for the car repairs and also mentioned he has recently taken over the store from another management and giving his 100% to give his customers full satisfaction and get 5 star ratings.I will be visiting this store going forward as i love the response i got from the manager

I had the opportunity to come in for an inspection while the roads were dry. Arriving 15mins before the posted hours said the shop will be open, a front service worker, Mr. Kildahl, met me at my car door to initiate the que line for the day. His attentiveness and great service was admirable from the beginning and throughout the experience. The automotive service was finished efficiently. Great start of a day!

Edit: OUR CAR PASSED INSPECTION AT LUCAS AUTO WHEN THIS SHOP REFUSED TO DO OUR INSPECTION UNLESS WE GOT ALL NEW TIRES AND BRAKES!TLDR: This is why no one can trust mechanics. They did not do our inspection because of all of this. We NEVER WAIVED THE INSPECTION! This location would not let me speak to a manager the day our car was serviced. We were called at home only about our tires and brake pads that apparently needed to be replaced, yep ALL FOUR TIRES AND BRAKES. We were only there for an oil change and inspection. We called the dealership that we bought the car from in Dallas, who said the tires were six years old and unless there were any serious issues that the tires and brakes should be OK. The Dealership also told us if we needed ALL FOUR tires and brakes replaced that it would be about $1000 give or take, I expect maybe even 1500 is reasonable. The quote Lambs gave us was for over $2300 worth of work. RIDICULOUS!

This morning was my first time visiting this Lamb s location on McNeill Dr. Eric was my service advisor, and he was extremely pleasant to work with, answered my questions, and gave me the discount advertised online, even though I didn t have a printed coupon. I would definitely go back again, and recommend them to others.

LaLa was helping me with my vehicle and she was very rude and condescending towards me and my father (who was helping me drop off my car) she was making comments about my father vehicle stating how it was ridiculous for someone to have 24in rims on their car and how in her 50 years of working at lambs she had never seen 24s on a car. No one had asked her for her opinion on my father s car, especially since you were supposed to be looking at mine. She then started making comments about my vehicle and how I really need to start putting work into the car (little does she know I had already put 7k into this car). She also refused to inform me how much certain parts and labor was for my car, once I refused service she then argued with me stating my father gave her permission to work on the vehicle. I stated that the car is in my name not my father s, so I do not want work done on the car. As soon as I said that she hung up in my face cutting me off. The professionalism is at an all time low here.I will not be coming back to lambs nor will I be recommending them.

Dropped the vehicle off on a Monday morning appointment with an ac blower motor problem. Was told it would be fixed the same day. Called later in the afternoon and was told they couldn t get to it until next day Tuesday. Called Tuesday late morning and was told they would knock it out that day. Called later in the afternoon and was getting the run-around that the tech couldn t get to it as he was working on someone s engine and they couldn t get to it until Wednesday. On Wednesday afternoon I called and was told the tech was working on some other car so I told them I d just come up there and take it home since apparently no one wanted to work on it and they just couldn t be straightforward with me resulting in me renting a car over the three day period wasting hundreds of dollars. I rarely leave reviews but this customer service was so bad, I feel compelled to do it. Very disappointed in Lambs.

So I went in for an inspection. Kept bugging me about an oil change which I then Agreed because I knew I needed one but I use a different place. Well. I m driving my car and now my car has a sound to It. Idk if that s a tactic to get people coming back in. But why would I come somewhere where It came with no noise and now It has one. Do better. This is why no one can trust mechanicsI came back on here to say the NOISE was because yall did not TIGHTEN my tires. Both my front tires were loose! That is seriously dangerous.Wish I could give zero stars

They kept my car for 3 and a half days for a/c repair that takes 6 hours. I turned in my car on Monday at 7am and after showing up on Thursday at 8am demanding they either fix it or give me the keys they started working on it.I called Monday around 5pm and asked for the status and was told by Michael that he was on hold for 45 minutes with my warranty company and never got through to them and was then told, "I'll call first thing in the morning when they aren't busy." Tuesday morning came and no call from Michael. I called my warranty company and got through in 3 minutes to a claims rep. Called Lamb's and Mike answered. I put us on conference call and he said that he hadn't finished making the ticket. Why call the night before and wait 45 minutes when he was not ready? Later that afternoon he called me and said he got through, and ordered the approved parts, and will start work first thing in the morning. I called again around 5pm on Wednesday and asked for the status. Mike told me they ran into a issue but didn't tell me what that issue was. He said the car will 100% be done Thursday morning. He told me on Monday when I turned the car in that it would take 1 day to 2 days tops depending upon the diagnosis, which wasn't done until Tuesday a whole 24 hours after I turned it in. I told him that I needed it back by Thursday because of work and he said no problem. I called my boss to take off Thursday and showed up around 7:30am at the shop. I advised the guy at the desk either fix it this morning or give me the keys. I was told it will be done by mid-day. I stepped out side and saw my vehicle in the shop with just the hood up and not parked on the rack. The mechanics didn't show up until 9am. They finally started work and it only took 4.5 hours to complete, the exact time my warranty company said they paid for. Take my experience however you want but know you run the risk of getting the run-around with this shop. Will never use this location and very cautious of using Lamb in the future.
