First off I love these guys. I had a really bad death wobble on my 09 JK Wrangler. I spoke with Robert first and he offered to look at my Jeep before I go spending money on parts I don t need. I dropped my Jeep off, and after a few days, they had everything they needed. Mind you, this was a few days after Christmas. James had informed me of what needed fixing, and I paid the deposit. I have became a customer for life. I like the work, the friendly customer service, and overall great experience I have had. Thank you James and Robert, you two are the best. And thank you to the technicians/mechanics that help all of us.

Just Jeeps is the go-to spot to take your Jeep in Austin. The owners Dan and Robert have forgotten more about Jeeps than most know. Their parking lot is always full with more Jeeps than some dealerships. Yet they can still manage to get you in on time for an appointment. They are fair, honest and go above and beyond. I ve taken my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon there on multiple occasions. They are problem solvers extraordinaire. On my last trip to Just Jeeps, they could have charged me for something that didn t need fixing. They had already ordered the part they thought they were going to need based on what I told them over the phone. Turned out after they inspected my Jeep that I didn t need the part at all. Most shops would have replaced the part anyway since I had an appointment and they had blocked off the time and ordered the part. But not these guys. They simply said, Good news, you don t need the part. We ll clean it up and get you off the rack and on your way. Just great guys to deal with. My highest recommendation.

This place scammed my mother big time with her 2018 Jeep Compass. Came in grinding rotors and all they did was pad slap on the front rotors and charged my mom for new rotors and pads. Today I noticed how bad in condition they were and resurfaced the rotors for her absolutely unacceptable never referring anyone here.

These guys are definitely honest. I had a quote ($667) to fix the horn on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler by replacing the Clock Spring. Their quote was cheaper than the place I usually go by $150. They ordered the new part which was $443, found out that it was just a broken wire on the old Clock Spring. Only charged me $228. The other place would have most likely changed out the part anyway and charged me the full $817. Lucky for me that I waited for an appointment with them and drove from Killeen.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Beware of Just Jeeps trying to upsell you a repair solution with older Jeeps. I had a 1980s Wagoneer that suddenly developed an overheating problem after over a decade of ownership. I personally replaced many of the cooling system components and decided to have Just Jeeps replace the water pump because I did not want to do this tedious task after having done it once before. I set up an appointment and dropped off the Wagoneer. When I called after a week, they did not even look at the car and told me over the phone that I probably need a whole new engine replacement.I asked for an explanation for this recommendation. They just made assumptions claiming the engine has 180,000 miles based on the odometer without even asking me to learn that the engine was rebuilt at 150,000 miles. They did not even do any actual diagnostics to justify this recommendation, and they hadn't even touched the water pump that I asked them to do in the first place so how would they have known the pump wasn't the cause. After several follow up calls over a few weeks, they finally completed the water pump replacement but did zero post testing and the Wagoneer overheated when I arrived home. I called them back asking for recommendations on other possible causes and they stuck to the same the sky-is-falling "you probably need a new engine" recommendation at a cost of about $6000, because the issue with the existing engine could be so catastrophic like a cracked block or blown head gasket.I personally did further troubleshooting and found the overheating culprit to be a failed heat riser valve on the exhaust manifold that got lodged shut. This fix only cost $1 for a piece of steel wire to force the valve fully open and disable it. To add insult to injury, if they had replaced the engine and reused the exhaust manifold with the failed heat riser, the overheating problem would have persisted and I'd have a $6000 hole in my wallet!!!I'm disappointed to think that Just Jeeps had experienced mechanics that could intelligently diagnose issues with older Jeeps but all I can count on them to do is the manual labor as long as there is limited brainpower involved.

In a nutshell, my jeep wrangler ABS light came on. Took it to two shops (franchise mechanics) and they were able to get light off but it came back on within a day or so. Brought it to Just Jeeps and they seem to have fixed it correctly. Lights not back on and it s been 4-5 days. Great company. Would recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I wanted to have work on my old Jeep. Have aftermarket side rockers & AC unit installed. I decided to do it end of last summer. I dropped it off in July 3 weeks before I left for Australia for 3 mos. I was reassured it would be been done. I emailed the shop a few times and no answer. When I returned in November the jeep sat where I parked it. Unfortunately they forgot about it, I understood and was told it would get fixed the following week. Two weeks later still not done.I don t recommend

As a longtime Jeep owner we feel better if we take our Jeep to a Jeep specialist, in this case i felt they are eso different than any other mechanic shop unfortunately. The first time I paid and the issue was not resolved, took it back and it wasn t until Two weeks to get it fixed that I had to pay even more money and still not fix. Not even going to bother taking it back since you end up paying for labor and parts that are not the main cause of the issue and still it doesn t get solved.

Just Jeeps re-geared my 1992 XJ for a great price. These guys are super busy so they're booked in advance just like most shops in the area. I live in San Antonio, but I will be taking my Jeep here for any repairs in the future. Thanks!

Dan and Robert are great and provide vey professional customer service. Would highly recommend to any Jeep owner needing repairs or upgrades. Diligent in the time from the estimate(one day) and repair(one day). Had a lift installed the first time I came here about a year ago and Dan did not try to up sell me but instead suggested me shocks that were affordable for my daily driver Wrangler. Really appreciate that. Just got my tie rods replaced and it wasn t as cheap as I expected but I got what I pay for. Great service and quality repairs. Screw taking a Jeep to the dealers ever.... cheaper and better this is the place. Thanks guys.

Took my '02 TJ here to have a broken O2 sensor and thermostat replaced. I called and was able to set up an appointment quick. The first available appointment was about two weeks out from when I called to make it, but that's pretty normal for any shop so that wasn't a big deal. I dropped it off and they took a good overall look at the Jeep despite me informing them of it just being the O2 sensor and thermostat just in case there was anything else that needed service. After looking it over, they found it to only be the sensor and thermostat so I appreciate them taking the look and not trying to sell me services that I didn't need. My Jeep was in and out of the shop in two days and the cost of the work was very honest and fair. I would recommend Just Jeeps to anyone that needs work done on their Jeep. While the work on my Jeep was minor, I feel that I would be able to come back and get honest work and an honest price for major work on it in the future. I'm glad I was able to find such a good place to bring my Jeep.

These guys are great. I haven't been financially able to maintain regular maintenance on my Cherokee and they've been open, patient, and forthcoming about all repair work needing to be done. It's also the first place in a very long time that I've felt like I can trust a mechanic, considering how ignorant I am of cars in general. I wish I'd found this place sooner, I really love my jeep and am really glad I found a mechanic that loves them, too.

We recently had our lift done by Just Jeeps and they did an amazing job!! A coworker recommended Just Jeeps and we went to them with our lift without even really looking at any reviews. We were pleasantly pleased with their service and true attention to detail and care. Dan and Robert are super knowledgeable and are great people! And I can t forget Bruiser, the shop mascot! He is the sweetest . You need something done on your Jeep, Just Jeeps is definitely the place to go for all your Jeep needs!!

Usually I don t leave reviews but I m really disappointed with our service today. I made an appointment almost a month ago - when we showed up to drop off our Jeep on the morning of our appointment date we were told they don t have any appointment saved for us (when I made the appointment, I gave my name, number, outlined this issue and was told to bring in our vehicle in the morning between 8-8:30). To make it worse, even though it was a mistake by the shop, no accommodations were made and we were told we can come back for another appointment in 20 days. Super long wait to be let down, was hoping to support this local shop but will have to find another service.

I recently took my vehicle back to Just Jeeps because I was very happy with my previous experience. Turns out I didn't have all the parts needed for the headlights and soft top being installed. Just Jeeps didn't charge me for the time they spent pulling everything out and figuring out what was missing (even though it was entirely my fault) and they showed me exactly what parts I needed to get the installations done. I always feel like Just Jeeps' primary goal is customer satisfaction, and they'll never try to nickel and dime you like other places do. Can't recommend them enough for all your Jeep service needs. -Jason-

Got my jeep repaired from these guy. It was a long wait, a week to just get an estimate. Luckily I had a back up vehicle for commute other wise I was stranded. All in all they did a good job fixing the jeep they had to replace a brake line that was busted due to rust. The price was not cheap but i think the quality of the work is good so it justifiable. All in all I am happy with the work done, just that it took 2+ weeks to get the job done. They are pretty busy so if you are planing to take your Jeep there be patient.

As a previous customer has stated. This place definitely knows their stuff when it comes to Jeeps however turn over time was not the best for my experience. Customer service is excellent though. For all my wait, Dan cut my price down for labor. As stated previously they know the ins and outs of all things jeep related and got my jeep going again when 3 previous mechanics couldn t! With great customer service and knowledge that s why they earned four stars. I would love to give 5 stars but turn around time needs a little work.

I recently had some rocker knockers installed at Just Jeeps in Austin. Their quote for painting and install was well below quotes from other Jeep establishments in town, and I was given an appointment on my preferred day. My inserts and rails were an exact color match to what I asked for and the install looked great. My Jeep was in and out quickly despite their shop being very busy that day, and I ended up paying the original quote amount, which was a bargain for the quality of work and fast service. All the staff at Just Jeeps were friendly and professional, and they made sure I was satisfied with the install. Truly one of the best experiences I've ever had with any type of service. I will be taking all my future business to Just Jeeps and would recommend them to anyone. Do yourself a favor and check them out before you take your Jeep anywhere else in Central Texas. - review by Jason Easley

I like this shop a lot. Nice people, fair prices, quality work.Giving four stars as communication and turn around times are not the best. Not going to fault them too hard, though. You can tell they are fully booked.I would take any jeep here - just know that if you need very quick service it may not be your best option.

Just Jeeps is amazing! I was quoted over $1500 worth of work for my 13 year old cherokee from the dealership after I has having power failure a few times on the road. I was referred to Just Jeeps from another automotive shop that didn't specialize in jeeps and am so happy I went in. They ran tests on my car and determined one key part was at fault and needed to be replaced, and it would only cost me $230 in parts and labor. I spoke with Dan initially and he was super friendly and helpful and I had my car back in 24 hours. If you own a jeep, this is the place to go, hands down.

Y all....these guys are AWESOME!!!! They were a life saver. Our Jeep was doing the death wobble to the point we could barely drive it at all. We originally took it to the Toyota dealership we bought it from and were quoted over $6K for repairs. We decided to take it to Just Jeeps to get a second opinion and the fix was quite simple as we suspected, costing just a little over $600 and now drives like a dream. I can t say enough about Just Jeeps and we will definitely be back for all our needs going forward.
