Jeremy and the entire team at JRD are extremely helpful. Made the entire experience as easy as possible. Called Jeremy with a question months after my windshield replacement and he went above and beyond to help me out. Highly recommend!

The nicest people! My niece flew in to buy a truck in Austin and it needed a new windshield. Dealership was being difficult and the sweet lady at JDR went above and beyond to make sure we would have the help we needed! We ended up not needing it but I would definitely recommend them just from how helpful and nice they were!

Highly recommend JRD Windshield! Paul did an incredible job fixing a pretty bad chip I had in my windshield. It was on the cusp of needing a full replacement, but Paul was able to do his magic and I can't even tell there was ever a chip there in the first place.Not only was I very pleased with the work, but Paul was also very kind and professional. It doesn t look the nicest on the outside if we re being honest but what matters is if they re honest, do good work and have a good price.I have to say they meet all 3 of those criteria, you can expect to pay depending on the location/difficulty of the crack/if ya pay cash, get a return discount or whatever between 30-70 with 40-70 being more realistic with what you ll pay. So it s definitely a good price, best part is if you fixed a crack/chip and the windshield continues to get worse the amount ya spent on the initial repair can be used to take off the price of a full windshield replacement! So on the price point it s goodThe person who worked on my crack was honest and said depending on if the resin sets will determine if the crack will spread, but since the resin did set with my windshield that it shouldn t spread. I knew that to be the case since I should have honestly gotten it fixed sooner but he kept it real with me.I only spent about 15-20 minutes there, I went during the day during the week so it wasn t too busy and I was helped right away. They got to work right away and they did a good job from what I can tell. They did get resin to enter the crack so it should be good. It s reassuring that they were honest and walked me through the process while they were working on it. The work was quick and good and while the crack couldn t be completely made to look like brand new (fyi if ya get a chip/crack fixed it typically still looks like the chip is there when fixed BUT it ll prevent spreading and having to replace a windshield), and they fixed it and you can still see remnants of the original crack but overall I m happy with the service I got and would recommend this place to family and friends. Hopefully I don t have an issue like this again but if I do I ll definitely be back

Got a huge chip right in front of my face. Thought I d need a new windshield but these guys worked their magic and relieved me of that fear. Quick, professional, reliable, and friendly service. Hopefully don t have to go back but will use them again should the need hit me again.

Quick and easy. I showed up to fix a rock chip, no reservation, was seen immediately and back on the road in under 20mins. Was the cheaper option after calling around too.

I don't have a lot to compare them too, but I needed my windshield replaced and eyesight cameras recalibrated. They came in $200 cheaper than safelight. So as far as I'm concerned they're a great company with good pricing. They did a great job. No complaints.

I would leave no stars if I could. I went there on 10/16 to repair a windshield due to a small crack from a pebble. 10 min after arrival I got my car back. It did not look like it was repaired. Since it was my first time with his experience I left. The next day, I showed up 10/17 and told them to take another look. They said that the could not do anything.Long story short, went to Subaru, they told me JRD did a really bad repair and made it harder for them to fix. Subaru was able to repair my windshield and it looks a lot better. Subaru took 1 hour to repair it.I do not recommend JRD windshield, go somewhere else.

They replaced my windshield. Fast, efficient and professional.They could have done it the same day but that didn't fit my schedule.I scheduled it two days later, brought it in, dropped it off and walked over to Magnolia for breakfast. Just as I finished eating they text me letting me know they were done.Great service at a fair price.

Insanely good service. My window was smashed the night before. JRD found the right replacement and had it done perfectly. Truck was back to normal less than 12 hours after the break-in. 1000% recommend.

I've used the services of JRD twice. The first one was last year when they repaired the windshield of my car. The service was fast, good, and you almost can't see where the chip was. The second time was yesterday for our SUV that unfortunately had a bigger chip because of the windshield being hit by a rock. The chip was borderline repairable. The guys at JRD, specifically Anthony, did a great job repairing it. Although is more noticeable than the one we repaired last year, the repair job came out great considering the circumstances. Again, the service was fast and good. They even have a really nice young woman (I'm sorry I didn't got her name) that receives you and handles the payment and everything.Service: Auto windshield repair

Our car had an attempted break in on a Thursday and ALL other windshield repair services either gave us a one week lead time or cancelled the day of the appointment on Monday.Unlike the other businesses, JRD appears to be actually locally owned and operated and everyone who works there actually cares about the business. Both the owner who took the initial call and the employee who coordinated the day of work, took matters into their own hands to get the job done. Not only did they show up on time, they provided solutions to problems they found on site and were very communicative in the process. This may seem like very simple feedback but when you can't use your car for 5 days and everyone else tosses you around from dispatch to dispatch, it was so nice to talk 1:1 with a solutions oriented provider. thank you for your services!

Excellent, highly recommend. Local, has that Austin vibe, family owned. You can request a quote and/or appointment online without having to give your VIN number or submit photos, so it's faster and easier than others' process. You can also just call them. We submitted online. They responded promptly with the quote and then the appointment. They got us in the same day and even though the whole windshield had to be replaced, it took less than an hour.

The only place in Austin to get your windshield repaired, these guys are great.If you cannot make it to the shop on Congress, They have mobile trucks ready to come to you. I highly recommend JRD a windshield repair shop, same day service when the competition told me they could not get to it these guys rock !!

I seldom give 5 stars. Mainly because there is always room for improvement, but not in this case. I had a cracked windshield and I purchased a warranty with my truck for windshield and tires. I called a few places to get it repaired. Jeremy is the only one that took the time to call me back and contact the company I had the warranty through. He took care of everything. I had no stress. Once I dropped off my truck they got right on it. Super nice bunch of guys. Very professional. I recommend them 110%. Fantastic service. Stopped in for a pretty large chip repair on my windshield. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. These guys were friendly, fast, and I can barely even find where the chip was. The customer service was great here, I ll definitely come back for any glass repair needs in the future.

I stopped by due to location and good ratings, and glad I did. I had already called another quote from another store and was surprised it was over $100. I wanted to check some other quotes. I arrived before JRD opened but they came to help and evaluate immediately. Cost was very reasonable, and he gave me a deal for paying cash that was a great price. Very nice, very fast. These guys did a fantastic job and made a very bad day just a bit better. They were able to get a windshield for me same day as requested, so I only had to look at my shattered one for a few hours. They took payment from the third party paying for the damage over the phone, so all I had to do was show up. It was done in 10 minutes and looked perfect, and they even replaced my registration sticker and toll tag onto the new windshield. I will recommend this shop to anyone. 10/10, would use again.Service: Auto windshield replacement

They did an incredible job!! I had a rock chip on my windshield and they were able to fix it in less than 15 minutes, and the rock chip was barely noticeable after he was finished!

These guys are the best! I ve had them fix several windshields for me. The first few times I needed new glass, I called multiple shops for quotes. JRD was always the most affordable and customer service was spot on. My friends and neighbors all use JRD now.

The installation team got started on my car right away. As an engineer and a car loving gal since I was a child, it was fascinating to watch the process since I never seen a replacement done before. I loved the fact that each guy did his own part of the process which made the installation go smoothly and fast...while staying on top of being high quality and being thorough. I met Scott first when I arrived and then I met Anthony. I didn't get the names of the other guys there. The guys answered all my questions. Great group of guys! This was my first time to use JRD Windshield Repair & Replacement after receiving a recommendation. Thank you to Jeremy for his fantastic customer service to give me a quote and to set up my appointment by calling me directly. My cousin was visiting from Tucson and his truck was parked in the garage of my apartment complex. It was broken into, and the rear passenger side window was completely gone. We called numerous places and couldn t get anyone to help because it was martin Luther king day. Finally, I found JRD online, called them, was greeted by a very friendly man and he said they could order the window and it would be there in about an hour. he was true to his word. My cousin went there, ate lunch at a caf� across the street and the whole repair was done in a little over an hour. They couldn t have been more wonderful.
