They do great work, truly, but when you see them advertise that they'll price match and then take the time to wait in line only to find out they won't it's disappointing. & they almost had my business back. Some other time, maybe, or not.

There was no line at my Thursday mid-morning arrival. I was immediately greeted by a very cheerful, helpful new-hire attendant named Rocky who helped me change my oil, re-finished my two front headlights and even gave me some useful advice about how to help my husband remember our oil change mileage (send him an odometer photo). While I sat in my vehicle enjoying the breezy, cool morning, I heard the entire floor team loudly, respectfully, and meticulously communicating back and forth to one another their important audible checklists to prevent errors and ensure safety. They were an enthusiastic, well-drilled crew who seemed to enjoy helping one another. I made sure to communicate to Maya, the manager, my appreciation for her attentive, caring, and professional team. It was a pleasure having my car serviced with them today! I look forward to my next visit!

Quality service done for a low price just can't go wrong going to jiffylube heck they even give you a free top off halfway through your last oil change if the oil is low up to two quarts free

I recently visited Jiffy Lube at Slaughter and Menchaca for an oil change and was thoroughly impressed by the level of service I received. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly and professional, making me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. The service itself was quick and efficient, and the technicians were knowledgeable and thorough in their work. Overall, my experience at Jiffy Lube was excellent, and I would highly recommend them.

Eli, Cody, and Cory are the best! Quick efficient service and friendly professionalism even though it was later in the day. I like how they communicate with each other what they are doing and appreciate how friendly and efficient they were. Great job!

Great work, great staff. Tim the GM is super helpful helped me figure out my coolant fluid cap has broken off and offered good advice. Tim is a Super friendly dude.

Just about the slowest place I ve ever been. Waited 40 minutes for nothing. No one talked to me, 4 people doing nothing to 2 vehicles in the bays. They still hadn t even done 1oil change. Absolutely the worst oil change place I ve ever been to. Would not recommend wasting your time, I pulled in thinking there is only one car in each bay how long could this possibly take? Well the answer is an eternity and who has time wait over an hour to get an oil change.

Thank you, Eli, for putting my brake light in my honda pilot for me -and refusing payment at 7:45 am. This was the day after a holiday. Great customer service is rare nowadays!

Went in for my routine oil change, I've been coming to this location for over a year now. They've always been great, never had any problems.When I got there an old bald white guy told me that I was very early and I wasn't due for another 4000 miles. Which was odd because the guys always give me a due at X mileage sticker (which I was at), and it had been about 3-4 months so it made sense that I was due for one. I explained this to him and he said "I don't know where you got that sticker", it had a Jiffy lube logo on it. I asked him to check the dipstick anyway and he told me I was definitely in the safe zone. I figured you can't argue with arrogance so I left.I go home and check it myself a couple days later and there was barely any oil on the stick, not even close to the 3 dots. Bald guy is either a rude liar or just terrible at his job.Also asked the girl working there with him if they can put air in my tires. She rolled her eyes and moped over to fill up one tire only then she got on her phone.Took my business to vavoline and they said I was very low, they also went ahead and checked all my fluids, battery and tire pressure without asking. great guys, very professional, I highly recommend them.If I wouldn't have checked myself and just took his word for it I would've destroyed my engine. Won't be coming back as long as those two bozos still work there

This location is super fast and efficient with my oil changes!I come to this particular Jiffy Lube for oil changes and inspections, even though I moved. I still work in Austin. I visit this location when I need oil changes. I have never waited for an oil change.They are fast, I can stay in my car, they vacuum and wipe windows and I can get in and out in 15 minutes.The staff works quickly together and I can trust the job will be done well. My brother let me use his car so I stopped here because the tire light came on for 2 tires. I speak with Aaron and told him I needed air, Aaron sized up the car then put a gender on it by calling me a sir, until he saw I was a woman he probably was thinking let me get her for an oil change. I explained to him I couldn t get on the bridge with two low tires and that I was terrified I wouldn t make it to a tire shop with the tires so low 17 psi. Aaron told me you can t get air unless you buying an oil change. I even begged him and he didn t care, I ve been to several jiffy s in the past and I always received free air, I told him I was willing to PAY and he hesitated until he saw the debit card in my hand and say go to discount tires over there. People like AARON shouldn t work here, it s shady and pushing customers away is all the reasons I will not return here.

Horrible horrible awful customer service and general service. The old man that s doing all the inspections was EXTREMELY rude and gave me ugly looks from the moment he saw me. I waited an hour in line, which I don t mind doing, but when I got to the front the man was so foul to me. First, he s yelling at me to pull around (the line was formed by the side of the building, and people were going into the garage from both sides, so I was unsure where to go) and when I ask which side, he laughed in my face and points harshly at the other side of the building, then glares at me. Once I pulled in, I gave him my insurance and he said they don t accept it. I grabbed my phone to call a family member to check on the situation, and he goes You need to leave. You re holding up the line. I had been in the garage for MAYBE a minute and a half when he said this, after waiting for an HOUR to get service.I normally go to the E Riverside location and the people are lovely, but their inspection device was broken. One of the techs said that all the devices in Austin were down except for at this location on Menchaca. I suggest going literally ANYWHERE else but here. That man was so foul and made me feel so unsafe and uncomfortable. He needs to take a break or have someone else helping him or something.

Wow! I've been visiting this location for years (and several others in the area) and have been a long-time Jiffy Lube customer (more than 27 years). This was BY FAR the best experience I've ever had at a Jiffy Lube. All employees were great, performed the full service very quickly, and actually did all the things! Just wanted to give y'all a big THUMBS UP! Thanks so much!

service itself was okay but i redeemed a coupon for an oil change directly from the jiffy lube website while i was sitting getting my oil change and they wouldnt accept it because it was expired .not sure how thats possible. Also why can jiffy lube never keep full synthetic in stock, that seems purposeful :)

There was little to no time waiting at all the guys at jiffy lube at manchaca and slaughter ln, saw me within 15 minutes of my arrival. Service was impeccable. See you on the next oil change. Many Thanks, Corey and Eli.

They did not do my oil change correctly. I got it changed on the 4th of January and by the 27th I had my service oil light come on. Lifted the car and saw it was leaking all this time because they didn t put in a filter properly. Waiting on my refund now for not providing the service I paid $100 for. Would not recommend and will actively discourage people from going to jiffy lube from now on.

Delayed on my review (the holidays got the best of me) but Eli was so great, quick, friendly, funny, and helpful with my inspection. Didn t take longer than 20 minutes, and shared how I could get my sticker through HEB. Much appreciated and will be back for other services.

If I could go negative for stars, I would. Do NOT, I repeat, Do NOT use this location. They cause several hundred dollars in damages, then try not to give you an invoice, an explanation, apology or claim responsibility. We all know that accidents happen, but only a real man will accept responsibility for his actions and try to make it right.Update: After posting this review, they did make it right. That is good business. It is a little disappointing that it took us writing a review to finally get some resolution, but the fact that they did make it right accounts for alot. Thanks Jiffy Lube.

Really bummed about it. Just got done dropping my car at Austin Automotive in Buda. They told me my oil was overfilled enough that it is causing other problems in my car. Last oil change was 10/20 at this Jiffy Lube. Been driving on it almost a month. Unsure if someone new did the oil change or what. Be cautious at this location.

Yes. Typically in the past the service at Jiffy Lube has been subpar. I ve heard and seen nightmare stories from lost oil pan bolts to overcharging to just plain bad service. I was hesitant when I looked for an inspection place on a Saturday to give in to repeat business. However, I was borderline shocked at what was a great, friendly experience at the Manchaca Slaughter Lane location. I called ahead and spoke with Tim and he urged me to bring it in rather than the we don t have time for you attitude I ve experienced in the past. He told me to come soon to fit me in and I forgot so when I came late he said no problem. Both Tim and Eli who performed the inspection were professional, friendly and fun. We had a couple of laughs even which is something this country needs bad right now. They deserve about a 15 on your 10 scale but problems in the past only allowed a 9 and I thought it might garner more attention. Kudos to whoever hired and trained this particular staff. If you got lucky, please take note because Tim s and Eli s leadership and positive attitudes not only brightened my day but brought me back as a customer. I hope you recognize them both because then I will know you have actually made changes for the better but either way each of them should be rewarded. Thanks again.

This is how my car looks all because a tech didn't put my oil dipstick back where it belongs. Now I feel as if I can not return here or any location. Just disappointed as Jiffy Lube was my go to for service. When I checked my level it is at add. That's unacceptable. My car is new 2020/$40,000 and honestly now I'm out 2 trips gas money mileage now all because someone couldn't be proficient in the job.Service: Oil change

What a joke never ever have i been told it s going take 30 mins to put air: Then i pull off to the side and put it in myself it s raining so no i didn t want to hassle with the small air compressor. Not even 3 mins after pulling away to the parking lot a car leaves and few moments later another car. where and why is the wait time. That woman should be dismissed.

Went for an oil change and inspection. Everything was perfect except one of the techs broke a valve core so I was left with a flat a few hours later. Employees were very nice and respectful.

Cool very curtious and professional.I recommend this place they're fast too the place does need a little bit of tighting up in the lobby thouOne minor upset i noticed they clean all the new vehicles mirrors and windows except mine. Just cuz its old and paint it is faded i suppose they think it dont make a difference ...They've done that at other businesses some how mine never gets the full service ...I think that's not fair...What i thought was maybe be less then $100. For and oil changed tirned out to be 4 times moreTheir fast but too expensiveAnd to think they would at list clean my windows for what i paid for...

I took my vehicle there for an inspection and, although there was a wait, I was warned about this as soon as I arrived. The inspection was then performed efficiently, and the inspector and the person coordinating all the work really went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I will definitely be coming back to this location for future inspections but also servicing and other issues.
